My keeper Skorupski agreed a deal to leave midway through the season and, after loaning him back so he could see out the campaign, I signed Sam Johnstone on a free as his replacement. Johnstone is of course a non-EU player and he arrived as soon as the window opened in Summer. Having signed no further first-team non-EU players, I expected that this would be fine particularly as I'd sold Aaron Hickey (Scotland) to Chelsea (drats...!) and Federico Santander (Paraguay) in the January window, and later Michael Kingsley (Nigeria) in Summer. However, I am still unable to register Johnstone for the next season and I'm struggling to figure out why. Could someone give me a hand? Please don't say I need to loan another keeper in...
