Awful again and we have just nine points left to play for, get all nine and we equal our worst season so far.

Stonehaven are the first club to sack their manager.

Barry had a win rate of 50% and got sacked, I have a win rate of 35% and I'm still fine, that's the difference in expectation.

Just the one game in March and it was a much needed win! There's still a faint hope of finishing 6th.

Max Kerr didn't really do too well here.

Which means Euan Murray gets his managerial debut.

You'll also notice that league leaders Glentanar have lost their manager, Calum Wardrope managed to land himself the Guiseley job and has won four of his first five games.

We finish on 31 points, one point more than our first season so at least it wasn't our worst season, and defeating Glentanar on the final day say them fall to second and East End get promoted on goal difference!

2026/27 Pre-Season

43a49f4beac4fe7d67dcf16da59e189d.png

We won a cup game! We beat Aberdeen Uni who are the division above us and as a reward we face Tayport at home in the next round, who play in the Scottish Midlands League, the sixth tier.

We're predicted last again but there's a new team in the league! Dufftown!

dufftown.png

Dufftown Football Club are a Scottish football club from the town of Dufftown, Moray. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association since 2001, they compete in the North Region. They club are based at Westburn Park and their colours are all green.

It was announced in July 2012 that the club would take a year out of the game.

The club returned in season 2013–14, playing in the PMAC Group First Division West. The management team was Steven Rattray and Fraser Bremner. Rattray left the club in May 2014 after helping Dufftown secure a top three finish in the league following their season in abeyance. Bremner left for Highland League club Rothes in late 2015 after guiding Dufftown to the Elginshire Cup Final and promotion to the North Region Superleague. Bremner was replaced by Steve Paterson at the start of 2016 with Michael Morrison replacing him after Dufftown had secured their Superleague status by defeating Sunnybank 3-2 in a play off match at the end of season 2016-17.

So close to a perfect month, and if it had of been perfect then we'd be top of the league but with ten games still to play we're just two points off of last seasons point total!

Glentanar scored two late goals and we were FM'ed by Whitehills, that will probably cost us but we can still re-take top spot if we win our game in hand.

Burghead Thistle are next to sack their manager. Ryan McKinlay was unveiled as Dufftown's manager and didn't start well.

One point, it came down to one point. Hopefully we keep up this form next season as it would be a great disappointment to see us struggle again.

I don't think his 8 aggression makes him quite like The Monk, far too low!

Been watching quietly in the background for some time, really enjoy this and you got so close last season. Looking forward to how you take it forward from here :applause:

Thanks Flexbeam, I'm glad you're enjoying it! Hopefully we can carry on making incremental progress and earn promotion soon, I'd still like a player in the dream eleven though!

I have to say this is one of your better saves from an progression standpoint as you are making gradual progress and when you get that promotion, it will be so sweet

Thank Pompey, I'm enjoying being down in the bottom tier so I'm able to see what clubs are falling down to my level and down the leagues. I almost prefer working in the lower leagues than the higher tiers, and after my Shetland save we all know I'll spend decades in the Highland League!
