e1twat0
Where do I find the strings for the font colours in the xml files in the font folder. I'm wanting to make some fine adjustments to a skin I have downloaded but want to start with the colour of the text, maybe change all the coloured font to black but test other colours to, then make further amendments for my personal use. Something I may look in the future is to develop my own skin and release but wanted to start with small amendments. I've managed to find out how to change all the texts from all being in upper case. Any help with the font colours would be awesome.
giglet13
You can find it in the skins Settings Folder and the file usually names 'SKIN NAME Settings' - in there you'll find any font colours defined within the skin or changed vs the default. They'll have the colour name (as referred to in other panels) and what the red/green/blue values are to set colour for it.

For example, if I wanted to change the colour of a certain panel/page, would that be in settings or the relevant xml file?

There are just some parts of the skin already that for some reason the text is white against a light background so wants to change it to black to stick out like the rest of the text. Thanks for your response and help

It varies - some panels will refer to things like accent - if that’s changed in settings it’ll change everywhere. For instance continue button etc. Others may be specific or linked to font files. If unsure start in the panel you want to change and find what font or colour it’s referencing , then some will make sense to change everywhere using settings. Others will make sense to change for that panel only. You can use the same settings file to define new colour names, then in panels refer to that new colour name whenever you want to use it. Have a play around from an existing skin and that should help learn/ understand what is and isn’t changeable en mass.
