In Madrid's battle we gave everything we had and left CL with our heads up(more info below).3 comfortable W for the rest of the March (one of them for cup semis), in the last game against Olympiakos Nicosia we clinched league title.April opened with a defeat in derby against Omonoia in a game very important for them and not for us.3 more W with the same score for the league before the end of April. CYTA CHAMPIONSHIP MARCHDAY 34 Another league title in bag.We hadn't any serious opponent this year. INFO 400! SCISPORTS DATA COCA COLA CUP FINAL And we are in (another) cup final. EUROPEAN NIGHTS UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FIRST KNOCKOUT ROUND LEG 2 Michalis used again his second tactic against R.Madrid and took a great result in Spain.They controlled this game from the start but we were very good defensively and scored with Theodorou for this beautiful 1-1. FIFA WORLD CUP-EUROPEAN QUILIFIERS GROUP A AND FA EXPECTATIONS MATCHDAY 1 Michalis used his "good'' tactic in this game (4-4-1-1).They were the better team and put big press on our defense from the start.They opened the score with PoM (and excellent player) Sesko and we made it 1-1 with a beautiful shot from Kastanos. A draw in game 1.Comfortable W for Wales and Serbia in the other games. INFO HIGHLIGHT MATCHDAY 2 Michalis decide to use his second tactic(5-3-1-1) for our home game against Serbia and it didn't work at all.Score was already 0-3 in half time and we just hit one in second half with a header from Kakoulis.A draw in Valleta and a comfortable win for Wales against Slovenia. Wales and Serbia looks much better from everyone else but still there are many games in front of us.Next are against Wales and Malta + a friendly game against Latvia. FIFA WORLD CUP-EUROPEAN QUILIFIERS GROUP A MATCHDAY 3 A great performance in away game against Wales.We opened the score with Edwards and hold very well for 83 minutes.They scored with James for this final 1-1.A surprise in Lithuania for Serbia and a comfortable win for Slovenia against Malta. INFO THE RECORD MATCHDAY 4 And a comfortable win against the weaker team of our group with very good performance. A win for Slovenia against Lithuania and an away win for Serbia in Wales. GROUP A Serbia looks very strong.We can battle with Wales and Slovenia for second place.Next games are against Lithuania(home) and Slovenia(away). FRIENDLY GAME A comfortable win against Latvia in a friendly game.This was a test for our game against Lithuania. INFO FIRST INTERNATIONAL GOAL FIFA WORLD RANKINGS We won another place. EUROPE Another step in front in Europe.This time we qualified for CL knockout round and lost from R.Madrid very difficult(0-1,1-1). SUPER CUP Another title. U19s Incredible season for our youth team.They won their league title and UEFA Youth league! TRANSFERS AND LOANS Some very helpful deals last summer. SQUAD REVIEW As you can see we made big rotation from game to game and everyone had plenty playing time. COACH PLANS SCISPORTS DATA RECORDS FINANCES OTHER CYPRIOT COMPETITIONS B KATIGORIA PAEEK,Ethnikos and Akritas won promotion. This means that our affiliate with Ethnikos finish here. G KATIGORIA U19s(Rest of) OTHER CYPRIOTS CLUBS IN EUROPE OMONOIA ERMIS APPOLON Only Ermis had a good European campaign. As for the national team,we won our nations league group and made a good start in WC qualifiers. N.SALAMINA 25!!!! While Michalis was in vacations and looked proudly Cypriot and N.Salamina's European coefficients he had a call from his agent.... He told him that Barca wanted to offer him a job interview.Of course he said yes and this interview closed nicely. Some days later.... And after 8 years(2929 days) and 398 games(270W 67 D 61 L-807 goals for,271 against-67% win percentage) with 1 B Katigoria league title(promotion),4 Cyta Championship league titles,7! DEALS PRE SEASON TRANSFERS INFO BAN We had a ban from last season... OUT We had many offers for our players but Michalis doesn't want to make big changes in his first season. IN We didn't spend a lot in Michalis first year here(like in his debut season in N.Salamina)Except Andre Gomes and Sylvinho all the others are choices from our Director(for our youth teams) and some Cypriot talented youths for our B and U19s team. IMPORTANT SIGNS Ter Stegen left us (signed as free agent in Bayern Munich) and we needed a first choice Goali.He came onloan from ManCity and he has an optional future fee in his contract. And as for the only player in which we spend some money his a great talent from Brasil. STAFF INFO Of course Michalis took his AsMan here in Barca. NEW STAFFROOM Huge staffroom. INFO Michalis is in a huge club and doesn't have time for all these tasks.From now on this lady will take the most decisions for our staff room choices(signs/renews ++).
