Nothing looks more romantic than Eastern European pitches in the winter.  Welcome to the Czech Republic, or Czechia. More specifically to TJ Podyjí Černíč a club who after holidaying for a season have gained promotion to the 7th tier of Czech football, the league I'm starting in is called I. B třída Kraje Vysočina Skupina A so it easily rolls off the tip of your tongue.

The Czech Lower Leagues + Logos located here: https://www.fmseries.cz/viewtopic.php?f=361&t=11808

The aim? Slowly make my way up the Czech league system before fighting it out with the big boys!

No staff but apparently Andrej is our best player.

Finally found a picture which has the pitch in it!

The village Černíč is located in the district of Jihlava in the Vysočina region . 121 inhabitants live here . It lies at an altitude of 485 m, 6 km south of Telč on the Moravian Dyje , which on the northwest side of the village flows through the Černíč pond , which is a natural monument for its flora. The valley of the Moravian Dyje is quite wide in these places (up to 500 m) because it flows into it from the right side of the river Myslůvka . The whole locality is very wet with peat meadows. The Kostelec u Jihlava railway line passes through the village -Slavonice , built in 1902 . The Slaviboř railway station , 500 m away from the village, is common to Černíč and its local part Slaviboř.

A strong month with two wins and two penaly wins actually sees us climb to 3rd!

Our under 19's also lost in the second round of what I think is the regional cup? To a team in the 6th tier.

Seriously, this database could be amazing, there's close to 318,000 changes to the database and it's all in the Czech Republic.

Haha brilliant :applause:

I love seeing home crowds in my Isle of Man save, where there is 1 away fan

That's one of the reasons I love clubs base on their own islands, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Newport (IoW) and Sheppey in England! :D

Funnily enough, I very nearly went with Guernsey, but IoM already had 18's and 23's set up, and being a brand new club, they won me over.

The village must love the team then if over half of them are watching each match :D

And you can't even say 10% of them are playing

I can understand that, you've done a great job so far!

What else can you do in rural Czech Republic? At least three of them are volunteers to get the ball out of the lake.

I...I don't think we can afford a paddle, we're just lucky that the entire population of the village have two arms.

I'll take that seat, just get someone to lob me a beer and a pie at half time

We have players! I was very anxious because we didn't get any FM22 youth notification until intake day but I'm putting that on the fact that we didn't have a HoYD until January.

That's a pretty handy intake :applause:

We MIGHT be able to get you a discount on pies...

They could all be 0.5* players for all I care, it's just nice to finally be able to field a full team!

Oh well, at least now you can set up a swimming lesson mentoring group for the players not involved in game day

Well this isn't actually what I wanted, I wanted us to grow as a team before challenging for promotion but yet here we are, Lestina faltered in the final three games and with us never being at the top of the table we end up winning promotion on the final day!
