Some countries have a huge amount of maritime and land borders and it might slow the game down too much to have both. 2. when I managed in England only Wales, England, Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland were acceptable. The ridiculous amount of maritime borders they had would’ve slowed the game down too much, and just seemed more realistic with all the brexit rules. 3. Transfers Unbelievably, I made no transfers. We couldn't sign anyone on a free that was better than our current squad. There's a first time for everything I guess! shaunvamos Posted January 12, 2022 Author Share Posted January 12, 2022 2022 Preseason Transfers There's a reliance on loans, but we have to do what we we can to climb the ladder. Giacomo joins us permanently after a successful loan spell last season. Klampfer is the first of a few non-Italians we've signed this season, and will be Siniega's partner at CB. Our WBs. Hodzic is another Slovenian, signed from the Spanish lower leagues, and Perri is loaned from Serie B Perdenone. Our two DMs for the season have roots in Serie A clubs, Bertini on loan from Lazio and Serena from Venezia after a successful loan spell with us last season. Another Serie A loan, Raimondo will try his hand at AM. Parsemain is massive get for a club at this level, I'm expecting him to bang in the goals. Owen is also no slouch up front. There's no limit in the Serie B, and they all had affordable wages, so why not? Klampfer rejoins us for a second stint at the club. Molinari joins us from our affiliate Pro Patria. He'll be the Libero. Claudio Gomes is a player who has played at some impressive clubs like PSG and Man City. Fortunately for us, they didn't work out and he'll be our RWB this season. Partnering Claudio is Bernasconi, loaned from fellow Serie B side Cremonese. Our DMs. Faticanti is an exciting prospect loaned from Roma, and Mbock was a cheap buy from Freiburg. Florenzi is another loan from a Serie B club, and is our Shadow Striker. Our two men p front, Parsemain joins us again and will hopefully score some more goals, while Pagano is another exciting prospect from Roma. A fairly lacklustre preseason, eliminated from the cup before it even began. I'll put that down to team cohesion at this stage. Predicted last, but I can't say I'm too surprised. Centre Backs Arabat will join us permanently for cheap at the end of, and Klampfer gets a third straight season on loan with us. Wing Backs Pierozzi is a former Fiorentina junior, and Alinei is an exciting prospect from Napoli. Attacking Midfielder We convince Roma to let us have Pagano for a second season. Strikers Talbi is a player I remember from the Spanish leg of this save, so to grab him this early is a pretty strong move, and Redaoui looks to be a real go getter too. A decent result against Hellas, but we really turned it on in the final two games, especially against a fellow Serie B side in Taranto. The team predicted last is Taranto. Our other loanee striker has been recalled because he wasn't being played as a poacher (something that really should be fixed in future FM editions), we have a plethora of injuries, and we can't play who I want because everybody is unavailable playing in the U20 and U18 games.
