Why not adding Croatia as they are technically a bordering nation separated only by the Adriatic Sea, or is that not counted?

Did you only allow the British Nations and Ireland as acceptable while managing Curzon Ashton?

Afterall you did allow Morocco while in Spain

1. Yeah I’m not counting maritime borders at this stage unless they’re islands with no land borders. Some countries have a huge amount of maritime and land borders and it might slow the game down too much to have both.

2. when I managed in England only Wales, England, Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland were acceptable. The ridiculous amount of maritime borders they had would’ve slowed the game down too much, and just seemed more realistic with all the brexit rules.

3. Spain have a couple of enclaves that share a land border with Morocco, which is why they were included.

2021 Preseason

A slow start to the preseason, but we adapted quickly with solid wins over non-league opposition.

Transfers

Unbelievably, I made no transfers. We couldn't sign anyone on a free that was better than our current squad. There's a first time for everything I guess!

Not predicted last anymore, so let's see how we go.

Scraped into the playoffs and duly dismissed by Gubbio. Next season might be tough, as we relied a lot on loaned players this season.

There's a reliance on loans, but we have to do what we we can to climb the ladder.

Parsemain is massive get for a club at this level, I'm expecting him to bang in the goals. Owen is also no slouch up front.

Why is Siena in purple? Do you have a club link?

Yeah, Siena is our juior affiliate and we have a senor affiliate with pro Patria, both of which are Serie C clubs. Bit strange, but still interesting.

Promoted! It was easier then I thought it would be, especially after our first game. Next season will be tough, but out budget is huge so we'll be able to sign plenty of guys hopefully.

Transfers

A heavy, heavy reliance on loan players. There's no limit in the Serie B, and they all had affordable wages, so why not?

Klampfer rejoins us for a second stint at the club.

Molinari joins us from our affiliate Pro Patria. He'll be the Libero.

Claudio Gomes is a player who has played at some impressive clubs like PSG and Man City. Fortunately for us, they didn't work out and he'll be our RWB this season.

Partnering Claudio is Bernasconi, loaned from fellow Serie B side Cremonese.

A fairly lacklustre preseason, eliminated from the cup before it even began. I'll put that down to team cohesion at this stage.

A tough month fixture wise given our current form, but we beat the team coming first at the time, knocking them off top spot, before drawing to the team that took over the lead. Could this be the start of a turnaround?

A slight stumble, but we've snuck into a playoff spot with 3 games left with a favourable run home. We have relegation candidates Cosenza and Cittadella at home, but 4th place Ascoli away. We should deal with the home games quite comfortably, but we'll need a little luck.

Talbi is a player I remember from the Spanish leg of this save, so to grab him this early is a pretty strong move, and Redaoui looks to be a real go getter too.

A decent result against Hellas, but we really turned it on in the final two games, especially against a fellow Serie B side in Taranto.

The team predicted last is Taranto. But we've proven that we're better than 19th anyway.

A very symmetrical month, and we end the year midtable. Bordeaux have also recalled striker Talbi so our firepower is a little restricted.

It may not look like it, but we're really struggling. Our other loanee striker has been recalled because he wasn't being played as a poacher (something that really should be fixed in future FM editions), we have a plethora of injuries, and we can't play who I want because everybody is unavailable playing in the U20 and U18 games. Frustrating, but what can you do?
