In November we qualified for the Round of 16 in UCL after the victory with Dynamo Kiev. In the second match of UCL we did not manage to win, but we only drew due to a red card taken by Acimovic. In my opinion, this red card was in vain because the player hit the ball.

Romania

In November we lost both matches in the Nations League and relegated to the Nations League C. It's kind of good, because for the EURO 2028 qualifiers it will help us.

We managed to qualify from the first place in the eighth round of UCL after we made 1-1 with Milan in Italy.

In the Round of 16 we will play Bayern Munich. We had better finish in 2nd place, we would probably have had an easier opponent. This is the toughest opponent possible. I wouldn't have been lucky here either ...

Layouni was named the second best African player after Mohamed Salah.

Florescu was named the Best Romanian Young Player of the Year, and on the 3rd place was Ahmed Bani.

The other Romanian teams in Europe:

Conference  League:
FC Argeș:

FC Argeș managed to qualify for the Knockout Round Conference League.

They will play with Crvena Zvezda. They have a chance to qualify.

January would have been perfect if we hadn't scored from Farul in the 90 + 5 minute.

In January we brought in 5 players.

This month I sent to loan a player and sold another 5.

In February we had the first match with Bayern, Germany, which we unfortunately lost 3-0.

We did not manage to eliminate Bayern, considering that in the second match we were only 1-1.

Adrian Păun was named Player of the Month in March, followed by Keylor Torres and Adam Karabec.

I was named the Manager of the Month in March.

Romania

We started the World Cup Qualifiers in March. The first match was with Croatia, a humiliation, and the second with Northern Ireland, which we won 3-1.

At the end of April we are on the first place 9 points away from Farul Constanța and with a less played match. If in the next 3 matches we only get victories we are champions.

Indeed, we drew with the toughest opponent. We could have drew with Ajax or Nice, but that's it. I'm not upset that it's Bayern after all. As for the coefficient, already from next season the 2nd place qualifies in UCL. After this year's results, Romania climbed to 11th place in the coefficient.

In May, we also won Liga 1, but also the Romanian Cup. We have another match to play, with UTA Arad, in June.

I had a few clubs that wanted Cedeno, but I managed to keep him. No team wants him right now.

We finished the season with a victory in the last stage.

Concordia Chiajna and Politehnica Timişoara were relegated to Liga 2. FCSB and FC Argeș will play the play-off, and the winner will play with CSU Craiova to qualify for the Conference League.

In Liga 1 they promoted FCU Craiova and Hermannstadt, and CS Mioveni and U Cluj played promotion play-offs with GHaz Metan Mediaș and Academica Clinceni.

Academica Clinceni and Gaz Metan Mediaş have won the play-off, so they will remain in Liga 1.

Adrian Păun was named Romanian First League Player of the Year.

I was named Manager of the Season.

We have 8 players in the Team of the Season.

Adrian Păun has the most assists this season in Liga 1.

Rolando Cedeno is the top scorer in League 1 with 25 goals, and Tomas Vestenicky, who left in the winter, is in 3rd place.

FC Argeș defeated FCSB, but was defeated by CSU Craiova. So CSU Craiova will play in the Conference League next year.

So next season in UCL will play Dinamo and Farul Constanța. CFR Cluj will play in the Europa League. Sepsi OSK and CSU Craiova will play in the Conference League.

The season is over ... Rolando Cedeno was injured in the national team, although he was already injured before the match.

Romania climbed to 11th place in the coefficient, so from next season the champion will play in the playoffs, and 2nd place in the 2nd round of UCL. The winner of the Romanian Cup (or 3rd place, it depends) will play in the UEL play-off. 3rd place (or 4th, depending on the winner of the Romanian Cup) will play in Round 3 of Qualifications, and the winner of the European Championship will play in Round 2 of Qualifications Conference League.

Dinamo climbed to 41st place in the coefficient. I hope that this year we will be in the 3rd ballot box in the UCL groups.

4 titles in a row and 3 CL groups. Thats pretty impressive achievement considering it's the Romanian league and especially Dinamo. You must be a tactical mastermind and shrewd on the transfer market. Congrats.

Also in July we sold 3 players, 4 left free of contract, and 3 left as a loan.

Let's see what the other Romanian teams did in the European competitions:

UCL:
Farul Constanța:

Farul Constanța played with Olexandriya and, although he lost the first match 3-2, he won the second match 2-0 and qualified in round 3.

Conference League:
CSU Craiova:

CSU Craiova eliminated Hibernians 6-1 in the 2nd round of the Conference League.

In August we won all the matches, so we qualified for the UCL groups again.

In the UCL groups, although we were in ballot box 3, we fell into a very difficult group: Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayer Leverkusen.

In August we sold a single player, for 10M euros and 40% of a future transfer, we gave a player as a loan and we gave a player for free.

This is the player we sold to Manchester United, which we borrowed until next year.

The other Romanian teams in Europe:

UCL:
Farul Constanța:

Farul Constanța was eliminated by LASK Linz in round 3 in overtime.

In the UEL groups Farul Constanța will play with Lile, Partizan and Rangers. They could take 3rd place.

UEL:
CFR Cluj:

CFR Cluj was not able to eliminate St. Gallen in round 3.

Conference League:

Sepsi OSK:

Sepsi OSK was close to taking the return leg with Haugesund in overtime, but if you lose 3-0 at home ...

CSU Craiova:

CSU Craiova was not able to eliminate Omonoia. Two years ago we eliminated Omonoia 5-2 overall, but CSU Craiova was not able to qualify.

It seems that only we and Farul Constanța are in groups. Two teams have to make a coefficient for the whole country, because others are not capable of anything.

September was very weak. Out of 4 matches (two in UCL) we won only one, we lost two (those in UCL) and we drew one.

 

Romania

At the Romanian national team we had a friendly, which we lost and a match with the 1st place, Croatia, in which we drew.

In October, out of 4 matches we drew in two (including Barcelona, which we led 2-0 but of course they equalized in the 87th minute) and two victories.

Romania

In the national team I played two matches, which I won 3-0 and 5-0 respectively. We are in first place, but Croatia has two more matches and we have one. Maybe Northern Ireland or the Faroe Islands can help us.

Although we failed to beat Scotland and Croatia won all the matches, we managed to qualify for the World Cup, being the second team in the Second Placed Teams.

At the World Cup we will play with the USA and Uruguay in group stage.

I am happy to bring Romania to the World Cup again after 28 years.

This year's Youth Intake has only two and a half stars, after we improved our youth and training facilities at State of the Art.

In Liga 1 we won all the matches in December, but we lost 2-1 to Liverpool away. However, we managed to qualify for the UEL thanks to Barcelona beating Bayer Leverkusen.

At UEL we will play Wolfsburg. It's not that hard, we could have an opponent on Atletico Madrid (I'm surprised we don't play with them, how lucky we are)

Other Romanian teams:

Farul Constanța managed to qualify from the first place in UEL, after they did not lose any match. I'm glad for them. I hope to qualify as far as possible in the UEL (maybe we will meet in the UEL).

Know that I have not forgotten my career. I just didn't have much time to play. January was only with victories, so we are still on the first place in Liga 1, 7 points away from the 2nd place, Farul, without defeat in Liga 1 of 40 matches (ie for one season, from December 2024).

We brought another player to the team, for 3M euros from Legia.

I also sold one player and gave one for free.

Thanks! Unfortunately, without investment and involvement from the state and the owners and with corrupt owners, this is happening. We have talent, but we don't have academies.

Hagi was the owner of Viitorul, and Farul is a traditional team and the first team the King played for (as we call Hagi), and Farul was owned by another former football player, so they decided to merge. I'm also glad you like it!

We managed to eliminate Wolfsburg from UEL with 4-1 at aggregate and we qualified for Round of 16 in UEL. In Liga 1 we continue the race of matches without defeat, although we drew with Sepsi.

In Round of 16 at UEL we will play Tottenham. They have a pretty good team, but I trust my team.

Farul Constanţa plays with AS Roma in Round of 16.

A Dinamo player, David Dinu, was named February Player of the Month in Liga 1.

I was appointed Manager of the Month in February.

In February we did not buy any players, but we lent 4 players and sold one.

A Dinamo player is in the top 10 best young players in the world, exactly 7th.

In March we managed to eliminate Tottenham and qualify for the UEL quarterfinals. After we made it 0-0 in Bucharest, in London we opened the score in the 9th minute. After only 4, Tottenham equalized us, and in the 32nd minute Tottenham made it 2-1. In the 46th minute, immediately after the break, we equalized, and in the 76th minute we scored for 3-2.

In the UEL quarterfinals we will play with FC Porto, so we have a chance to qualify for the semifinals.

If we eliminate FC Porto we will play Monaco or Atletico Madrid in the semifinals.

The same player who won in February also won Player of the Month in March.

In Nations League C we will play with Armenia, Estonia and Kazakhstan.

Unfortunately, we were eliminated in the quarterfinals by FC Porto, and I am partly to blame. In League 1 we are almost champions, we need at most three victories.

We won Liga 1 for the fifth time in a row. Unfortunately, we suffered the first defeat in Liga 1 against those from Farul Constanța, a match played with reserves due to the fact that we had tired players.

FCU Craiova and Academica Clinceni relegated, and Chindia Târgoviște and FC Botoșani played play-offs for relegation.

CSM Reșița and U Cluj promoted, and CS Mioveni and Viitorul Târgu Jiu played the play-off for promotion with FC Botoșani, respectively Chindia Târgoviște.

Now comes the World Cup. I think we can qualify for the Round of 32, especially since we defeated Brazil in a friendly in March.
