A dominant performance as Monaco's offence was completely shut out by our defence, not registering a single shot on target.

A thumping header on 14 minutes from Harden gave us the lead and allowed us to control the tempo.

We were creating plenty of chances but it took two late goals from Gowdy, and Pilkington off the bench, to seal the win.

We top the group after two games, and if we can get a result against Schalke in our next match, it will send us a long way towards qualification for the next round.

Up next...Derby Day, as we travel to Anfield for the Manannan Derby against Liverpool.

A good month. Looks like the goals scored have dropped a little. Is it time to start the process of asking for a new stadium with the wages creeping up?

Next month is definitely a more challenging month than the one that just passed.

It's funny, you look at the goal scoring and see it's dropped, and think Gowdy seems to have done nothing all season, and yet he still has 6 goals in 8 games.

I think we definitely need to build a bigger stadium, but I don't think they will go for it yet.

Some big games coming up.

A brutal Manannan Derby as we edge out Liverpool at Anfield.

Two of our kids linked up to provide the games only goal as Jay Lee picked out Khaled Hussein, who buried his shot.

The rest of the match turned into a foul-a-thon and cards galore, but no more goals.

It was a match short on quality, but we took the three points.

We struggled our way through a tougher match than it should have been against the lowly Clarets.

We created plenty of opportunities but the visitors held firm through to the half time break, although we got an advantage when they had a player sent off a few minutes before.

The chances continued through the second half, but we couldn't find the net.

Youngster Khaled Hussein had been running riot all match was brought down in the box on 70 minutes, allowing Gary Gowdy to step up and convert the penalty to finally give us the lead.

Two minutes later, he Hussein was at it again picking up a Christian pass before carving his way through the defence before slamming home his shot to give us a 2-0 lead and finally secure the points.

We are still not playing anywhere near our best, but doing enough to get the job done.

A cracker at The Isle as we knock over The Red Devils.

We had to rest several players still recovering from their international duties, and then got into a free flowing back and forth, as both sides played to their attacking strengths.

With Gowdy resting on the bench, Tamara scored a brace of penalties, with Hoston and Hoey adding the extras as we managed to out score and out last the visitors.

Some rotation in the team after our midweek win over Basel, resulted in Aled Harden playing up front, and getting us off to a flyer, scoring in the first minute.

While Gary Gowdy has had a seemingly quiet start to the season, he banged in a penalty in the first half, and a cracking free kick in the second half to complete the scoring.

The defence kept another clean sheet. Not our best performance, but encouraging that we got the job done.

On the half hour, Martin Challinor was brought down in the box, allowing Gary Gowdy to step up and bury the spot kick to put us 2-0 up at half time.

Southampton hold out to hand us our first draw of the season at St Mary's Stadium.

Gary Gowdy got us on the board early before, the hosts hit back on half time.

The second half was a tight affair with not many chances created by either side, and we couldn't be separated after 90 minutes.

A stunning result as a slightly rotated squad ran riot over our League Two opponents.

Hussein got on the board with an early brace, and the scoring just didn't stop.

The visitors didn't help their own cause, having two players sent off, and scoring a goal for us.

But a very complete performance.

An attacking game lead to a 2-2 score line just after the break.

Gary Gowdy put us back in front on 68 minutes, before substitute Martin Challinor put it beyond doubt three minutes later.

A solid result against a top 4 team.

The struggling Blades put up a solid defensive effort for the first 70 minutes to hold our attack at bay, but we exploded to life in the final 20 minutes, blazing home to a 4-0 win.

Gary Gowdy finally broke the dead lock on 72 minutes, before Taylor Reid put it beyond doubt just before full time.

Youngster Khaled Hussein scored an injury time brace to end the scoring at a somewhat flattering 4-0.

A 4-0 scoreline was probably a bit harsh on the hosts, but for us, a clean sheet and three points makes for a good day.

Our recent battles with The Canaries continued with another epic battle ending in a stalemate in Norwich.

All the scoring happened before the clock had reached 10 minutes, with Gowdy giving us the lead on 8 minutes, before the hosts struck back almost immediately.

The crowd was then treated to a cracking 80 minutes of end to end football, both sides creating plenty of chances, but none were taken.

Norwich came the closest smashing a shot against the bar in the final 10 minutes.

So we take a share of the points with us.

A brilliant result as we sent a young squad out against the League Two outfit.

They dominated from start to finish slamming in three quick first half goals to send us to the 5th Round, including a first senior goal for the club, for young striker Fernando Browne.

We scored three, but in reality the score could have ended up anything with 19 shots on target, and another 4 that hit the post.

A cracking result against a Sunderland team who have been pretty ordinary this season.

We pressured them from the kick off and it seemed only a matter of time before the flood gates opened.

Our job was made easier after 20 minutes when they had a player sent off for a shocker of a tackle, giving them 70 minutes to defend with ten.

Despite a mass of chances, it was just a single Lewis Hoey goal that had us in front at half time.

We kept the pressure up in the second half, and while the visitors were brave, the flood gates did eventually open, with three different scorers allowing us to run away with a 4-0 win.

Four different goal scorers, three points, a clean sheet, and a solid defensive performance, makes for a good day at the office, and a happy manager.
