Do you warn/fine for bad performance? If they accept, they may increase in Determination and/or Work Rate.

I do, however, they rarely get anything less than a 6.4, which doesn’t come under my personal threshold of 6.2

Welcome to a new segment where every Jan 1, I highlight the top 5 prospects for that year in my U-19 side, so we have an accurate year-on-year snapshot of what is in our youth system. I will also provide the snapshot of when the player entered our system so we can have an comparison of when they joined. Every year they are on the Future Watch, we'll provide the previous year's screenshot and stats.

With that in mind, I present to you, the 2034 Future Watch,

678ea1615f64e295581d4f2e73dcbf33.png

1. Armin Braun- AMRC

2032 Entry - Signed from Dynamo Dresden
2033 - U-19, 20 games, 2 goals, 5 assists, 7.25 avg rating.
..........First team, 3 games, 0 goals, 2 assists, 7.23 avg rating.

Our  #1 prospect in this year's Future Watch and he's a good player. He even got a few games in the first team this season, due to a serious injury crisis.

2. Troy Doherty- D/WBR

2034 Entry - Signed from VfL Wolfsburg
2034 - KFC Uerdingen 05 (loan); 19 games, 2 goals, 5 assists, 7.24 avg rating

Another new entry into the Future Watch, Troy's signing in August puts him high in the FW, hopefully the player will prove his worth soon next season

3. Marc Haufe- DM/MC

2032 Entry - U-19
2034 - U-19, 27 games, 3 goals, 3 assists, 7.49 avg rating
..........First team, 1 game, 0 goals,1 assist, 7.40 avg rating.

Marc has dragged himself onto the Future Watch after being being ranked #6 of his intake two seasons ago. He may even make the first team if he keeps on this trajectory.

4. Bryan Sabotic- DC/DM/MC

2032 Entry - U-19
2034 - U-19; 24 games, 4 goals, 1 assist, 7.51 avg rating
..........First team, 1 game, 1 goal, 0 assists, 8.80 avg rating.

Bryan is a serious come-from-nowhere prospect who was also in the 2032 intake. He's another serious candidate to make the step up next season.

5. Juan Roberto- ML/AMRLC/ST

2034 Entry - Signed from FC Barcelona
2034 - KFC Uerdingen 05 (loan); 21 games, 8 goals, 2 assists, 7.31 avg rating

Juan is the last of the new entries into the FW. He's not done badly on loan at Uerdingen, so this could see him move up next season.

2033 Future Watch

Momčilo Radosavljević - on loan at KFC Uerdingen
Özcan Öcal - graduated to first team
Metin Dereli - graduated to first team
Michael Frising - graduated to first team
Aaron Euler - on loan at KFC Uerdingen

So, our 2034 academy scholars came in and We're still at Exceptional Youth Coaching and Exceptional Youth Recruitment. As ever, we will sign all the youth players and work on their flaws. When it comes to professional contracts, it'll be only the DNA qualifiers that get a contract.

Realistically, he'll hothouse until 18, as we have enough decent cover in front of him to let him develop as long as possible in the reserves

It’s good to get a reward for this season as you’ve been playing pretty good football :applause:

It’s unfortunate to run into a penalty lottery and a super rich unavoidable team in the league.

Season 13 in the books and we rose high, but sank like a stone in the league, finishing in 12th place in 1.Bundesliga, as close to the relegation spots as we did to the European places . However, we got our first big piece of silverware (ignoring the 2.Bundesliga title) in the DfB Pokal as we beat fellow 1.Bundesliga strugglers Bayer 04 Leverkusen, 2-0 in the Final. We also had a brilliant run in the UEFA Champions League, beating FC Barcelona and Atletico de Madrid in the knockout stages, before falling to Chelsea FC on penalties in the Semi Final. We plummeted last season to a very poor 14th in Goals Scored this season, only scoring more than the three relegated clubs and VfB Stuttgart, and slightly dropped defensively to 3rd in Goals Conceded. We struggled playing the second team in the league this season, but with the priority on the cups again for next season, we'll look to do the same.

As good as the first half of the season's stats were, this was much, much poorer on our part, mainly as we were using the second XI for league games and it showed.

Now we're over 5 years into the game and this save is all about trying to get the cream of youth into the team, we'll start to look at my historical youth intakes. At the end of every season, I'll go back and look at an intake from my time here at Viktoria Berlin and see if the key prospects worked out? Or if they flamed out, never to be seen again.

So, for this edition, let's look at the Class of 2029 intake

ac6a053247ea6ca3ee96718e0e6be417.png

We'll concentrate on the Top 3 DNA prospects, unless there are any notable deviations. The key prospects in this intake were defenders Kerem Erdem and Benjamin Meier and striker Simon Engel

Kerem Erdem

Then. 15 years old, FC Viktoria 1899 Berlin

Now. 20 years old, Sanfrecce Hiroshima (on loan from 1. FC Köln)

I had reservations for Erdem at the time of his entry and I was proved right. He didn't make a single appearance in his time at the club and spent two seasons on load at feeder club KFC Uerdingen 05, amassing 62 appearances for the club, scoring 2 goals and assisting twice in the process for an average rating over the two seasons of 6.79. In the summer of 2032, we sold Erdem for £1m to 3.Bundesliga side 1. FC Köln. So far, he has made 41 appearances for their II side, scoring 4 goals for an average match rating of 6.92. During this time, hes also spent time on loan at 2.Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld making 4 appearances for a 6.77 rating and, this season, a loan to J.League side Sanfrecce Hiroshima, where he has made 9 appearances so far for an average match rating of 6.52.

Erdem has also made 12 appearances for Turkey's U-21 side.

Metin Dereli

Then. 15 years old, FC Viktoria 1899 Berlin

Now. 20 years old, FC Viktoria 1899 Berlin

I, again, had reservations for this whole intake and Dereli was no exception. However, he has proved me wrong and to date, has made 23 appearances for the first team in all competitions, for an average match rating of 7.11. He also spent the 2031/32 season on loan at KFC Uerdingen 05, making 34 appearances for a rating of 6.86 in their 3.Bundesliga relegation season and then the next season at 2.Bundesliga side FC Ingolstadt 04 making 29 appearances for an average match rating of 6.79.

Erdem has also made 25 appearances for Turkey's U-21 side. Stunningly, Dereli was named in the 2033 NxGen Top 50 players in Europe list and got last season's Vereinigung der Vertragsfussballspieler Newcomer of the Season.

Simon Engel

Then. 15 years old, FC Viktoria 1899 Berlin

Now. 20 years old, Barnsley FC

I did have some hopes for Simon, as he was a striker at the time we had none coming through. However, he did not play a single game for the club, taking in two loan spells at KFC Uerdingen 05 in his time here, making 43 appearances, scoring 7 goals and 4 assists for an average rating of 6.72. In the summer of 2032 however, he was sold for £250k to Sky Bet Championship side Barnsley FC where he has made 29 appearances (only ONE of these was a start!), scoring 5 goals for an average rating of 6.67

Season 14, first season after our cup win so we're looking to concentrate on the cups again. We were tasked with Finishing Mid-table for the first time, reaching the Quarter-Final of the DfB Pokal, and reaching the Second Knockout Round in the UEFA Europa League and the DFL-Supercup was just a distraction. All of this with a £4.6m p/w wage budget and £386m warchest.

Team on 1 July looks like this

August 2034 Transfer Window

I am the mayor of Deadwood

Transfers IN:

dec67b61ae5f581bf6c761751d3c7a87.png

  • AMC/ST Jenthe Achten (£500k, K. Patro Eisden Maasmechelen) Work Rate: 14, Pace 14, Technique: 15- DNA: PASSED

Couldn't turn this deal down. Been scouting him for months and they wanted over £1.5m for him, however this summer, an offer was made for £100k, so a quick swoop for £500k was a no-brainer.

Transfers OUT:

D/WBL Jerry Musah (£1.5m, FC St.Pauli)

DM/M/ST Julian Klaas (£100k, Hannover 96)

We got a new feeder club, FSV Frankfurt, and cleared a lot of our 18 year old players who just aren't good enough for the first team yet to them.

We're currently ranked 10th in the league for attendance with 35,000+, however Hertha are at 20k more per game, so I'm hoping we improve to that level
