Improved AI for managers and staff

In my opinion, the main weakness/fault with Football Manager is the lack of accuracy and realism for the opposition managers.

For example, the formations, tactics, team selections, transfer targets and philosophies are very inaccurate in FM21 and previous versions.

To make FM22 or FM23 more realistic the Artificial Intelligence of the managers and staff needs to be much improved.

For example, Klopp´s teams should play 4-3-3 and he should remain at Liverpool for the long term and only leave Liverpool to go to one of the top 5-6 clubs in Europe or to manage the German national team. The team selections, tactics, transfer targets and squad building need to closely resemble what Klopp would do in real life.

On FM21 managers changed clubs too frequently and many of the appointments would not happen in real life. For example, Sean Dyche becoming England manager.

Also, the AI for other members of staff and clubs needs to be more accurate and closer to the attributes and philosophies of coaches, managers and chairmen in real life

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts in this area. With most of the issues you're listing here, we would try to adjust these through the data side of the game and via bug reports. It's a considerable challenge and we appreciate any efforts taken to share bugs where things stand out as being wrong, along with input on data where you feel changes might result in a more realistic outcome. AI for the game is a continuously iterative process and so we are always looking to improve this aspect of the game and the reality is it will never be finished or done. This does mean while we appreciate the thoughts, its not a feature request as such but absolutely welcome your input in data and bug reports where you do find issues.
