Anderlecht:

Loïc Masscho: Plays most of his matches as a central defender

Luca Monticelli: Plays as a striker now, but used to be an attacking midfielder, so maybe add that as a possibility

Tempo Overijse:

Dimitri Delorge is a Central Midfielder and left footed

Joren Dehond usually plays behind the striker (mostly AMC, but also AML or AMR)

Ignazio Cocchiere: is also natural as a striker

Gerardo Arteaga (Left back - KRC Genk): He has a lot of attributes still generated at random (composure, dribbling and crossing amongst others) which seems odd for a 23 year old Mexican international who is the first team choice in a European league. He is quite a technically gifted offensive left back who is prone to defensive errors in real life whilst it seems to be the other way around in-game. Can this be looked at please?

Junya Ito (right winger - KRC Genk): He is considered the top right winger in the Belgian league because of his combination of speed, movement and defensive discipline. He has most attributes pretty spot on but his off the ball and work rate seem very low...

The board filosofy for Sint-Truiden seems a little wrong.

  • It says you have to buy players from Vietnam (currently 0 in the selection, they only hired one 2 seasons ago, but he didn't play many matches) and Australia (also none in the squad. Only Cacace is from New Zealand)
  • The second thing to do is buy players from the Japanese competition, but there are no players there (and if there are any, they are way to weak to be bought), so you always will get a frustrated board after a while, because you can't live up to there expectations. (Maybe make it only 1 star question from the board instead of 2 now)

Players from Sint-Truiden:

Some notes i have on player stats & traits for anderlecht players specifically:

Sergio gomez:

- dribbling: 10 is to low, should be atleast 13-14. His dribbling is among the better players in belgium.

- pace: should be somewhere in the 13-14 range aswell. He isn't a slow player at all and faster than average.

- penalties: should be no less than 14-15. He is the main penalty taker for spain u21 and first/second taker for anderlecht. He hasn't missed any so far (5).

el hadj:  has the same stats as last year but developed alot since fm21

- off ball: shouldn't be 5 anymore, it's not that horrible at all. A 8-10 would be more accurate.

yari verschaeren:

- off ball: should be around 12. His positioning has improved alot since fm21 but this is not reflected in fm22.

wesley hoedt:

Should receive the error prone trait as he makes errors multiple times a game.

zakaria bakkali:

- should get a massive downgrade. He gained alot of weight and hasn't played a decent game in years. Dribbling and pace, finishing and first touch are all to high for a player who barely got gametime at beerschot and who barely has played games on a high level for years, he doesn't even play for the under 21's.

Thank you in advance!

Some inaccuracies for Anderlecht youth squad:

Mario Stroeykens: Playing as Winger not as AMC, however his coach says in the future he might be able to play there. ---> https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nieuws/2020-12-31/mario-stroeykens-moet-het-nieuwe-goudhaantje-worden-van-anderlecht can play on both sides.
He is also dubbed the new Doku, as fast as Doku was, but better at dribbling and more creative in the last third. One of the biggest talents since Youri Tielemans ---> https://www.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20201230_93323202

Ali Maamar:  Hottest right back rsca has to offer, strong/fast but very good on the ball. For reference point, check the game vs PSG u21 pre-season

Wout Meese: Very good on the ball, good reflext and ballhandling. The hope for Anderlecht in the goal, still only 16y old, but getting close to first time football as GK. One of the better ballplaying goalkeepers in his age range in Europe.  https://www.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20210811_96476066

Emmanuel Salazuku: Should get a decrease in potential, he is quite error prone and not close to the potential of FM, should be one of the lowest rated in the squad

Lucas Stassin: likes to play one-twos, very high off-the ball awareness. Should decrease balance from 15-16 to 13, increase anticipation from 7-8 to 12, that reflects his real life abilities better https://sportmagazine.knack.be/sport/voetbal-nationaal/de-nieuwe-lichting-anderlechtjongeren-wie-worden-de-volgende-doku-s-en-sambi-lokonga-s/article-normal-1756877.html

Luca Monticelli: deserves much beter mental stats then what he currently has: https://www.rsca.be/nl/news/jonge-talenten-kiezen-voor-rsca

Tristan Degreef: Strong intelligent AMC, very technical - good dribbling, good flair, deciscions. Reference point: https://www.rsca.be/nl/TristanDegreef

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
U21 Squad:

Zakaria Bakkali: should see a really big decrease in current and especially in potential ability

Anouar Ait El Hadj: the biggest star of the previous season in Anderlechts first team. His agility, balance and strength should see a big boost 10-11 is way to low.

Nils De Wilde: one of the next upcoming player in line of: Tielemans, Praet etc. --> Romelu Lukaku was very impressed by him while training with him: https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nieuws/2021-02-10/nils-de-wilde-zou-de-volgende-kunnen-zijn-die-doorbreekt-bij-anderlecht Technique, flair, composure, decisions should be a little big higher

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anderlecht First team squad:
Sergio Gómez: should see a bump in dribbling, amongst the best in Belgium, the same goes for his speed 10-12 is to way to low

Zeno Debast: Very High potential, best defender that Anderlecht has under his wing. Kompany said several times that Zeno is better at his age then he was at the same age. Probably just needs a potential boost.

Nayel Mehssatou: should get a slight decrease, he is always in the first team, but he is not there just yet. He sometimes will be on the bench, but not every week.

Marco Kana: his strength went up quite a lot since last years edition, last year he was indeed a 8, now he has bulked up and became a 12-13. According to most coaches, he would be the next thing to break through.

Yari Verschaeren: Two of his best attributes are: Balance and off-the ball, yet these are amongst the lowest rated

Amir Murillo: should get a slight decrease in mentals, has shown this year with his ups and downs

Wesley Hoedt: Error prone, needs a decrease in man marking

Majeed Ashimeru: Used as AMC as well, current ability lower than Cullen and Olsson
Francis Amuzu: No longer plays in any defensive role, only AML or AMR sometimes in striker role

Théo Leoni: to high rated, shows up in the first team, but there are no signs that he will get any minutes this season at all in the first team, 2nd team player, low potential
Lucas Lissens: potential should be increased by quite a bit, there were talks after the games he played to call him up for the National team of Belgium, then he got hit by injury.

Benito Raman: while playing the game more often then not he is being played as a winger while in real life he is only playing as a striker, maybe remove or decrease the winger status.
He is only playing as striker since he joined Anderlecht, and he is probably the best pressing forward in Belgium, insane stamina and work rate yet still able to score a good amount of goals

Killian Sardella: his mentals should see a decrease, he has stagnated a bit over the last year

Hannes Delcroix: should see a bump in strength, 7 is to low for such a strong defender. Even though he is 22y old, there are talks - before injury - of including him into the first team of the Belgian squad.

Hello, there is a mistake in the name of a player from La Louvière Centre - U21:

- The player's name is "Laurent Van der Gooten" in the game
- His real name is "Laurent Van der Goten". There is an extra "o" in its name on the game.
- The player is a friend, so I know his name.

We'll have a look at all of them for the next update.

The problem is balancing the data for the likes of El Hadj and Verschaeren. Both have a specific profile, play in attacking position and are technically skilled. Raising all of their attributes means they'll need a CA of 130-135 which pushes them in the bracket of the best players in the Belgian league, means they need a potential of -9 (-10), while both of them have been in and out of a team that's been struggling to qualify for Europe and is not dominating the Belgian league at the moment. While non of the top European clubs are chasing them, as all their scouts have doubts over their potential or abilities to make it in a bigger league. And not playing continental football affects that status as it's there that clubs decide if a player is ready for the next level.

Thank you for all remarks for the youngsters. Sergio Gomez was already altered (as that was the most odd one).

Theo Leoni for instance has a CA of 82 and a CA of 110 (which shouldnt ever making him an Anderlecht first team player)

Isn't it a challenge to get the best out of Zakaria Bakkali, a wasted talent who still has all of the skills? A bit like with Anthony Vanden Borre. Bakkali has very low mental stats, so its gonna be a challenge.

agree on most, except :

first position of Maamar is dmc, only lately (including PSG) has played at DR. adds new possibilities, but isn't a natural position. Has a lot of strenght, which allows him to run up & down.

leoni & mehssatou were added to the 1st team last year by Kompany. Leoni should indeed be removed. Player is intended to be important to the u21 squad.

Lissens is would wait. see what happens after his injury, but to me he seems to slow to be a 1st team player

Mehssatout has never been on the bench, nor has he been selected for the 1st team. Is on the 1st team roster, but plays on the u21 side.

Magallan should have a downgrade in my opinion. Failed at Ajax, at all other loans, and when he played (u21 & 21st team), wasn't really trustworthy.

I know that Sergio Gomez has been mentioned but i finally managed to get some proof (of the game that he just played) that his stamina and natural fitness should be (way) higher.

Below image shows you high intensity distance covered + total distance covered. He plays every game, rarely gets subbed off and does this weekly. Both stamina and natural fitness should be 16 at the least. (reference to cullen who has 17 stamina, so 16 for gomez would be pretty fair)

The ratings of the Oostende players are way too high. Had a few sims where they actually won the league back to back the first seasons. They were pretty decent last season but no way near the top of the league.

This has already been noticed by our team and changed in the final release of the game!

Hello !

Corentin Fiore is at Ravenna in the beta database but should be at RAAL La Louvière : https://www.transfermarkt.fr/corentin-fiore/profil/spieler/168159

Also : Théo Wuillot (Mouscron) and Maxime Wester (RWDM) are playing in Raal La louvière U-21 :  https://acff.be/club/1027/equipe/214044/membres. I think they are the only "young" players in the DB.

Not sure if this is a data issue or something else.

My board expects to win the title, yet is never satisfied during the season despite a first place in the league. They keep expecting us to only finish "in the top four". I assume this is because of the Play-Offs (which are played with, you guessed it, four teams). Their satisfaction then changes once I'm in said Play-Offs and in first place.

It's quite a minor bug though.

Other data issues I've found
- As said before, KV Oostende is way too good in this version and they've constantly been playing for the title in my games.
- I'd suggest putting Club Brugge as the favourite team of José Izquierdo, as he's gotten the opportunity to return to the team after a lot of injuries and is regarded as a club favourite by the fans (+ he's on the "Wall of Legends" at their training ground.)
- Lior Refaelov is far from an icon of Club Brugge after his move to Anderlecht (and Antwerp before), yet he's still on the club icons page.
- Mignolet has been made an icon of Club Brugge already, yet Brandon Mechele isn't. At most Mignolet is favoured personnel and Mechele is at least the same.
- Jan Ceulemans is still available as a manager but he's recently said to have quit managing indefinitely (he's been without a club for 6 years now anyway)
- Rivalries for Club Brugge should have Antwerp included and vice-versa, Zulte Waregem and/or Standard are not nearly as big.
- Noah Mbamba is at the -18 level, but plays for the A-team already. He's also more a DM, his prefered position, than a CB. Favoured personel should be Pogba aswell, his idol.
- Despite having won the league 3 times in a row and gotten into the semi finals of the Champions League, my board will not build a new stadium. Quite unbelievable, considering they're preparing to build a new stadium a few months from now IRL.

Other than that, kudos!

The ratings of the Oostende players are way too high. Had a few sims where they actually won the league back to back the first seasons. They were pretty decent last season but no way near the top of the league.

We have tried to fix some things for the final version of the game by lowering some stats. We'll see how it works out - but we couldn't test them. Might be that it's a combination of the manager's style and the combination of specific type of players. Anyway: based on current ability of their 16 best players they are rated 14th in the database.

Are Oostende signing any particular players in your game?

I know that Sergio Gomez has been mentioned but i finally managed to get some proof (of the game that he just played) that his stamina and natural fitness should be (way) higher.

Below image shows you high intensity distance covered + total distance covered. He plays every game, rarely gets subbed off and does this weekly. Both stamina and natural fitness should be 16 at the least. (reference to cullen who has 17 stamina, so 16 for gomez would be pretty fair)

Gomez has got an update for the final version...

All of this has been logged for next update.

Oostende is one we tried to fix before the final edition. We'll see if those changes have worked out.

Good afternoon!

i was playing with Krc Genk and when building my tactic i noticed that junya ito's left foot is weak which suprises me bcs he scored some very good goals with his left foot and often comes inside to leave space for munoz to run into. also why is he injury prone ? and another problem i have with him is that in real life he's the star player of the team but ingame he's just good enough to sit on the bench.

Thanks in advance !

Thanks for logging...

Like said before, Oostende are in the process of being nerfed for full release. Though based on the values set in the database and compared to other teams in the league, they really shouldn't be performing as well as they are, so it's a bit puzzling.

Should anyone be willing to look deeper into their performances and let me know what exactly it is that is making them overperform so massively (eg. specific players, tactics, combinations...) that would be hugely appreciated.

ow and De Wilde is not a real technician,  clever players, good passing, great postioning, excellent endurance. style of an 8.

Best insight and vision according to Romelu in many interviews - the one guy that impressed him the most, through balls like crazy, if that doesnt show high technical skill i dont know what is :)

I noticed that I've been included in the game for the first time. Unfortunately, both my nationality and my family name are wrong. I'm Belgian and my family name is spelled as Van Haaren. If you'd want any other information about me, then please just let me know. Thanks!

That one should be fixed for the next update.

Kompany holds on to Murillo even when playing like crap, and 1st replacements are Sardella & Gomez.. Would like to see Mehssatou get his chance, but so far not (yet) an option.
