I do not know if this is a German Data issue (maybe defined in the country rules?), but why do Turkish players in Germany always have their full name by default as a kit name? Kerem Demirbay for example has his full name instead of Demirbay, same for Ömer Toprak etc. This also happens to newgens. I have checked in my save and this does not seem to happen when the Turkish newgens are created in Turkish clubs.

Hi,

I don't know if this is only a german database issue, but the attendance in european matches is too low. This ist just an example.

First ever champions league match with Frankfurt against Chelsea and only 40 Tsd. viewers? Never, this would be sold out with 46 Tsd.

In other european machtes I've got 35 Tsd. f.e. Far to less.

Is for sure not a problem from the research side, bcos we have set at Frankfurt

Avg Attendance to 46650,
Min Attendance to 35000
Max Attendance to 55000

Could you please show me also your Average Attendance from the current and past season(s) to check this.
Thank you

HI,

average attendance in the Bundesliga is OK. That's not the issue. It's only Champions League or EuroLeague games. Here I think every Game would be sold out. especially against Chelsea and Atletico.

Thanks, I think Morey and Morey Bauzà both get used. We will keep him as Morey for this season. We do have this set to his full name.
I agree on Enrique Herrero.

Silas is obviously a very special case - not really sure what to do with him - but seems like his full name is being used, so we will amend this one as well :D

Hi,

Can anyone please clarify if Bayern's 2 new latest signings are in game? I've looked in the database and I am struggling to find them both.

Liu Shaoziyang

I think it's because a whole block is empty. In both matches I could see this. I don't know why, but for me it's a bug.

Hey sgevolker terracing is not permitted for Champions league games, you are only selling the tickets for seated sits which Frankfurt has 42,200, you can prob ask for the stadium to be expanded to increase the sitting seat capacity but it might be hard to do since Frankfurt doesn't own their stadium.

But it‘s wrong. In Frankfurt you can replace the stands with seaters for international games and usually we‘re doing this. So sold out during Euroleague matches means 48 Tsd. and not 42 Tsd. And every Championsleague match would be sold out.

I'm not sure if this should be a bug, but this is definately odd to see this happen. For many years, German Cup participation list is so odd, starting from the second season, only 4 3.Liga teams can enter the German Cup, but in fact the rest of 3.Liga teams can participate by winning a regional cup (Verbandspokale). However, because the game dosen't have this regional cup, the rest spots of German Cup are assigned to regional teams instead of 3. Liga teams. While in realty, say the 2021/22 or the first season of fm22, you can see 12 3.Liga teams entering the 1st round of German Cup. Can this be fixed or think of how to modify? Coz this is somewhat unrealistic to see only 4 teams from 3.Liga, but having dozens of regionalliga teams....

Source: Wiki

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DFB-Pokal#Participation

The DFB-Pokal begins with a round of 64 teams. The 36 teams of the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, along with the top four finishers of the 3. Liga are automatically qualified for the tournament. Of the remaining slots 21 are given to the cup winners of the regional football associations, the Verbandspokale. The three remaining slots are given to the three regional associations with the most men's teams. They may assign the slot as they see fit but usually give it to the runner-up in the association cup.

As every team taking part in the German football league system is entitled to participate in local tournaments which qualify for the association cups, every team can, in principle, compete in the DFB-Pokal.[1] The only exception is that reserve teams (e.g. Bayern Munich II) are ineligible to enter.

So I'm a little confused, were you planning on adding Hiroki Ito to the game or is there some sort of issue preventing you from putting in a 22 year old signed by Stuttgart well before the initial release despite his 19 appearances? Was waiting on this to be added in the winter update but alas we've been overlooked again.

Japanese league players aren't licensed in FM and as his full contract is with his parent club despite joining Stuttgart on loan, we're unable to include him at this time.

Patrik Schick has scored 20 in 20 yet hasn't been given a CA/PA update. His CA is very low for his quality. Nico Schlotterbeck has been one of the best CBs in the league yet still has the same really low CA.

The lack of updates for Bundesliga players based on form is very apparent compared to the Premier League, where Declan Rice for example, who already had a very high PA, got a plus 8 boost.

Thanks for your input, we believe these players were/are already accurately rated. Perhaps Schick can have a small improvement for consistency etc, but if you play the game he's bound to score 20 odd goals for example.

cheers!

on another note, just wanted to ask - is there something like a style guide for how names should be entered if the person has a special title (e.g., doctor / dr.)? noticed the treatment for some of the german doctors is inconsistent: some have it only in the common name, some have it only in the full name, and others in both the common and full name. personally i think it should only be included in the full name, but that's just me.

That's a good question. We follow the English (Sports Interactive) point there where the titles should normally not be included. I know they hold more value in German speaking nations (Germany) - but we also prefer to keep a more standard variant of the common names - so without the Dr/Md/MBa etc. etc.

do you mean common name, or the full name, or that the full name should just be "Stefan Mattyasovszky"?

i suppose this means that the database should not have any titles in any of the name fields.

also, would like to highlight that the trailing comma in this entry for dortmund favoured personnel is still present:

As indicated above but to make it much clearer - (did twist up the naming of the uhm names) , there shouldn't be any Dr. etc. altogether, in any name variation.

yes - think i understand now, thank you. so i guess there are a lot of titles that should (by right) be removed but are currently still in the database.

I think Hertha BSC shouldn't have an Upfront Sugar daddy - The Windhorst Millions should rather be an Equity injection, since It would make more sense.
Windhorst has invested a fix sum and not pumping Millions of Euros into the club like the Owners of PSG, City and Newcastle.

So The Windhorst Money should go under "other income" -> Equity injection - in German: Kapitalspritze
So that Upfront Sugar daddy should be removed from Hertha

In FC Bayern München , there are too many Chinese-German mixed-race regen in youth intake, all in Chinese names and faces.

They also have very high PA.

Sorry, I don't think this is realistic.

Are we sure the cutoff date for the U19s is correct? It's telling me no one born before 2008 is eligible in 2026, yet half of the players born in 2006 are still 19. So that means at the start of the season, there is a year and a half worth of players who are not "over 19" that cannot play, which seems misleading.

image.thumb.png.734086309e6ca40763c681dbd4e65816.png

Also, as a side question, where does it define what is considered EU for the purposes of German U19s?
