There was a message in the Finland data topics that some of the Finnish cities have not been translated to Swedish. Is there something I could help with translating the missing ones?

Some player profiles has Stockholms län as city of birth ,  should be Stockholm only.

This is probably not a translation issue but a research one. I'm guessing this is when it's not known where in Stockholms län they're born.

2 words missing, "ner" and "legat"

Should be

Vad gör dig till den pefekta kandidaten att rädda en klubb som något oväntat kämpar för att inte trilla ner och som legat på nedflyttningsplats hela säsongen?

Its a free tranfer deal and the English sentence is correct.

1188399368_Skrmklipp.PNG.9ea0481d25d2bc1b5e4fcc140a79485c.PNG

But the swedish sentence say "%team1% may pay no fee in this deal

1636608513_Skrmklipp.PNG.125215b3074625eb89a33ca9fcb1ad13.PNG

I dont know the whole logic behind this one.

but for a free agent the correct string would be

"%team1% kommer inte att betala något för %player1%."

and if there is a fee

"%team1% kommer att betala 50 tkr för %player1%."

This one was in the last game as well if I'm not mistaken.

seems like the player and the manager have been mixed up

In English it's correct, the player (Larsson in this case) is the one that impresses

1296722774_Skrmklipp.PNG.9baab030739e7074ca1afdd98f4deeff.PNG

But in Swedish its the coach that impresses according to the headline

A general question to the Si translation team and Swedish translators.

some player roles have different translations depending on where they are used. is this as design or just a thing where they haven't translated side by side so to speak?

None of the translations are wrong but I think the same word should be used everywhere to make it easier for players of the game to know what is what.

for instance have target player been translated to "Bollmottagare" in some parts but in other places it's called "Spelfördelande Forward".

1333271254_Skrmklipp.PNG.1a5604d491a1fcc98bd2740754b27aac.PNG

And also key player, in some places its called "Nyckelspelare" and in other "Stjärnspelare"

In the headline it should be %staff% vinner %club% valet

now the headlne say "staff takes over" but he was already the chairman and won the election for a second period.

and in the content i would change it to

"%staff% har fått en %number% period som ordförande för %club%

The first one - not by design -  target man was replaced by target forward, so looks like an inconsistency crept in - thanks for flagging, we will review all instances.

And the translation for 'Star Player' looks inconsistent - we will harmonise those, thanks

perfekt, thanks!

look at the tactics screen where BM is used for "Bollmottagare" should probably be changed to SF for "Spelfördelande Forward"

This one seems to bee a bit of a mess, but i think the main issue is in the original language as well. attached is both Swedish and English version of the news item

I'm Managing Sollentuna FK in this case and my board have cancelled the affiliate links with 2 teams. but the headline say its the to other teams that have cancelled there link by one of there boards.

so the news item is correct but the headline is not

English version, my assistant is advising me...

1376465771_Skrmklipp2.PNG.6f52a2bead9adbc58989cdbaab83cac2.PNG

Swedish version: my assistant have been asked to do it hem self

616693861_Skrmklipp.PNG.e6815d0926d9c57cc1b9f3a51c08f9a8.PNG

"Efter möte med ledarstaben har jag blivit ombedd att ge spelaren den speltid han önskar"

should/could be

"Efter ett möte med ledarstaben har jag blivit ombedd att råda dig att ge spelaren den speltid han önskar"

In general i think the advice is a bit strange as the player is asking for a loan out period and i should in stead give him games? but that another thing and not translation related :-)

the english sentence say "next game" the swedish say "last game"

in reality its 4 games left so the English one is correct, i dont know if its a varible involved in the amount of games casing the issue here or if its just a translation issue.

in this case it should be "...inför vår nästa match..."

"avslut" should be "mål" and "alla andra spelares" should be "alla andra"

There are some similar ones there what do you think?

KEY-425223: [%male#1]{s} [%number#3] strikes lead everyone else in the competition.
STR-1: [%male#1]{s} [%number#3] avslut överträffar alla andra spelares i tävlingen.

KEY-425224: [%male#1]{s} [%number#3] strikes rank him [%number#2-nth] in the competition.
STR-1: [%male#1]{s} [%number#3] avslut ger honom en [%number#2-nth]-plats i tävlingen.

KEY-425225: [%male#1] is the leading goalscorer but his [%number#3] strikes are only good enough to rank him [%number#2-nth] in the competition.
STR-1: [%male#1] är den främste målskytten men hans [%number#3] avslut räcker endast för att ge honom en [%number#2-nth]-plats i tävlingen.

Hi All,

i understand there to be issues with the Swedish translations - does anyone

know to whom I may apply to help out with future versions? I am actually

a professional translator with past experience of SI games.

Cheers / Erik

this is probably the same string but it shouldn't be a s after år/vecka (year/week) as its just one (en/ett)

the top issue with år (year) it's the same "år" for one or several years.

but for second issue with weeks its one week = "vecka" or several = veckor

"honom" should be "henne" as Sara is a female staff member. Not shore if its a translation issue or variable casing the issue but switching to English the text say "her" so
