The biggest one is probably Walid De Vos, a young striker who recently made his CL debut with a hattrick against Shakthar. He's not consistent yet, but at his age I can only be happy with how he developed. Spoiler Then there's hard working midfielder Donato Rubino, half Italian, who is currently on loan at Belenenses but will be part of the squad next season because of his progress. Spoiler And finally, our most recent guy, a central defender who was born in Leuven. Been giving him a lot of playing time as a rotation option in the easier league games. noobish abbz Posted September 8, 2022 Share Posted September 8, 2022 (edited) Alright then, I found this guy in Slovakia for around £1.3m at the start of last season, and he went to £40-£60m overnight (lovely) I just don't know where to play him and in what role! I've tried him for a few matches as a DLF with a Poacher partner. I've also tried Shadow striker behind that Poacher. I just can't choose. Has a release clause of £57m. Found this guy in Brazil at 18 years old with a £14.25m release clause. Managed to scrape enough money together for it and again jumped to £50m overnight when he joined me. My scout thought he was going to be World Class and he does look great so we'll see how he turns out. I paid £300k for him from fellow Peruvian side Sport Huyancao. They have basic/below average facilities so really struck lucky with this one. Typically, our fans weren't happy we spent almost our entire transfer budget on him but 3 sub appearances and a goal has changed their minds slightly and they are warming to him. It was also great to see him come off the bench to set up our equaliser v Boca Juniors in the Copa Libertadores.
