How to call up overage players for Olympics and Asian Games?

I'm playing as South Korea U23 manager, and it's time for the Asian Games. This tournament allows 3 overage players (which is displayed correctly on the news item to decide the squad, and the squad screen. However, there doesn't seem to be any option to actually call up overage SK players. If I go to one of them, under the national team menu, there is no option to add them to the squad. And yes, the squad has open space for more players.

Have you tried selecting over-age players who are not currently selected in the senior national team squad? 

 

I've had this issue in the past with Argentina's Olympic team, where I had to look outside of the superstars  because of a clash with senior team games which were due to take place at the same time.

Thanks for the idea. I just checked and I also can't call up over-23 players that are NOT currently in the senior national team.
