2023/24 Season Preview

Last season was our best yet, but we'still not good enough. We've again had a decent pre-season, with no major injuries and the board again want Mid-Table in the 3.Bundesliga out of us this season. Let's hope we beat this and get promotion this season
We were given a smaller wage budget at £57k and a higher £640k transfer budget to start the season with but, once again, we've cut a lot of high-earning players!! We managed to re-up a key player in Mikki van Sas for 4 years with a possible 6 years in extensions, so he's ours now

The first team currently looks like this on July 1

9f7fd1dd2af3cdcd1e1d703c6db7a14e.png

As you can see, we've almost reached our goal, but for Christian Beck's 5 for Pace.

And, as ever, we set out our scouting stall!

August Transfer Window 2023

First priority this season was to fix our defence. Then try to get better with some choice signings.

Transfers IN:

64ef6812038163159ed28ec0fdd5e9fe.png

  • DL Orhan Öztürk (£250k, Kasimpaşa) Work Rate: 10, Pace: 13 - DNA: Passed

Much as we were pretty well stocked at DL, we needed someone to sit and grow to become our established left back. Hopefully Öztürk is that guy.

ac7d82b41da2096e5d864075f84babd7.png

  • DM/M/AMC Splinter de Mooj (free, Feyenoord Rotterdam) Work Rate: 12, Pace 13 - DNA: Passed

We desperately needed defensive depth in the middle of the park and de Mooj was the best we could get with our scouts only being part-time.

96d0272449e18dfed9793e37804c4636.jpg

  • M/AMC/ST Malik Tillman (free, FC Bayern München) Work Rate: 11, Pace 15 - DNA: Passed

Our big signing for the off-season was another FC Bayern youngster. Malik will be our main creative heart this season to replace the ageing Jansen

3be1c8ad8978a05b33ed8baa52f8591c.png

  • DC Luca van der Gaag (£250k, VfL Onasbrück) Work Rate: 13, Pace: 14 - DNA: Passed

Our first centre back in through the door. Luca is everything we want in a DC. A price, but we're not going to lose out by getting him

f665a54ea170b6262d849db196e91c5a.png

  • D/WB/ML David Herold (Free Agent) Work Rate: 12, Pace 15 - DNA: Passed

We had a monster bid (for us!) accepted for our starting full-back so we needed a new first choice FB. And Herold was that guy

6a8464dce86e915a914b30eb5b2600b4.png

  • MLC Anton Sirén (Free Agent) Work Rate: 14, Pace 13 - DNA: Passed

Again, this was a case of covering positions and our creative positions needed the cover.

We also picked up two loans from our parent club

9c551ac4ab2177dbd4f7503a7d5985a9.png

  • DRLC/WBL Lloyd-Addo Kuffour (loanBorussia Dortmund) Work Rate: 10, Pace 13 - DNA: Passed

We were very light on cover at right back and an injury to Itter would sink us, so I loaned in this guy

47d2074e3dbf907a6437d7a1f1da5798.png

  • DC Colin Kleine-Bekel (loanBorussia Dortmund) Work Rate: 10, Pace 14 - DNA: Passed

Colin's back! We need the cover, so it's a mutual interest.

Transfers OUT:

MRL/AML Michael Houser (£250k, FC St.Pauli)
DL Nico Gottschalt (£15.25k, SSV Jahn Regensburg)
DRLC/DM/MC Brian Koglin (£20k, SV Mannheim)
DL Gideon Guzy (£1.5m, Hamburger SV)

2024 Youth Intake Preview

It's that time of year again!

10488ea146a385297a1ed9825fe93022.png

Let's walk through as ever

There are a lot of wingers in this system - When aren't there?? :D Always good to keep the prospect cupboard stocked
There is an attacking midfielder we should keep a very close eye on - Well, he'll be re-trained obviously, but I hope he's worth it
We have one good young German attacking midfielder from Staßfurt who has caught the eye - As above as it seems like the same player :D
This is a terrific group of players coming through, and has the potential to be a real golden generation for the club - I hope that we get players in to bolster our team, we need bodies
We don't foresee any new strikers coming through - That's fine, we have enough in that position for a few seasons tbh
Most of our new goalkeepers coming through are of poor quality - Again, we have three keepers who I'm happy to keep at the club
There are few good wingers in general - Oh. They save the worst for last. So we have lots of wingers, but they're all crap. FFS..

January 2024 Transfer Window

We got thoroughly raided this transfer window and our results were struggling along with it. Our regular right back Davide Ittler suffered a broken foot in October and the loan backup player was absolutely awful. So I was in full-on panic mode.

Transfers IN:

642f3963acff77c637c21a4a81d0594e.png

  • D/WBR Rafael Lopes (loan, Sporting Clube de Lisbon) Work Rate: 10, Pace 15 - DNA: Passed

PAAANNIIICC. We were getting battered from pillar to post because of poor right back play. So I put in scattergun bids for a number of full backs and this one was one of the fish caught in the net.

cb3c51024f2c9c5e7377d1a16b058cc2.png

  • D/WBR Junior Diomandé (loan, Olympique Lyonnais) Work Rate: 13, Pace 16 - DNA: Passed

Another right back caught up in our net and luckily, he's the best one of them all!

9f3d324e6029657add3d19cda53336c0.jpg

  • WBL/DM/M/AMC John Johnson (loan, Borussia Dortmund) Work Rate: 13, Pace 10 - DNA: Passed

Our razing saw us lose our most creative player so, we needed a replacement quick and our parent club helped us out with this young Australian

88f57fa1b7d3c1c5e67532fac6d67d14.png

  • D/DM/MC Adam Grostate (loan, Borussia Dortmund) Work Rate: 17, Pace 11 - DNA: Passed

Dortmund threw another shrimp on the barbie for us, by sending us another Australian youngster. Signed to provide cover for the defensive portion of central midfield, he's quickly become the dominant player there

Transfers OUT:

M/AMC Tom Maier (£100k, Fortuna Düsseldorf)
D/WB/M/AML/ST Aleksandar Thiel (£250k, SC Paderborn 07)
GK Calvin Drath (£5k, 1.FC Kaiserslautern)
DRC/MC Nick Engler (£88k, Erzgebirge Aue)
AMLC/ST Maximillian Persich (£5k, Arminia Bielefeld)
M/AML Justin Ohnesorge (£25k, Eintracht Braunschweig)
D/WB/MR Malte Hampf (£1.1m,
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona)
DC Per Berg (£5m, Bayer 04 Leverkusen)
DRL/WBL Niccolo Giocobbe (£86k, FC St.Pauli)
M/AMC/ST Malik Tillman (£1.5m, Karlsruher SC)

No less than FIVE players in the matchday squad were bought off us this window, including youth product Malte Hampf and star in waiting Per Berg. Hampf & Berg, along with Tillman, who was stolen on deadline day, and Thiel all had 50% sell on clauses attached to all their sales.

Welcome to Eigenshaften - 2024

0e5996f26b6a9b50845f4147657a7270.jpg

Welcome back to Eigenshaften for our 2024 youth intake. We'd had a number of improvements recently to our facilities, as shown above, so that we're now at Exceptional Youth Coaching and Exceptional Youth Recruitment. We also broke ground on our new training complex on the banks of the River Elbe. As ever, we will sign all the youth players and work on their flaws. When it comes to professional contracts, it'll be only the DNA qualifiers that get a contract.

So, without further ado, let's see what's turned up

Looks like a very nice haul. Let's check out our Top 3 prospects

e1aee23c19b810e614eb5926ad22e486.png

  • ML Enes Küçük - Work Rate: 14, Pace 13 - DNA: Passed

Enes is going to be instantly re-trained to play at DL with a focus on Complete Wing Back. This may solve our full back issues as it will allow players to move about!

a8279cfdbf2b8fd3fb9abdd4a90a9869.png

  • DC Lars Bohne - Work Rate: 12, Pace 13 - DNA: Passed

Lars is a good get here as he has the attributed to play for us in our designated style of play. Good news!

89a2b47e5441ebec1b100f98a920296d.png

  • WBL Luis Bremser - Work Rate: 15, Pace 11 - DNA: Passed

Luis comes here with a fork in the road. Should he be trained for DL, with a Wing-Back focus or should I remould him into a Central Midfielder with a Defend focus? Choices, choices....

We had Lukasz Proschwitz as a better starred prospect in the intake, but his Work Rate was below DNA levels, so we need to hit that before he does anything else

Some good money from those sales though, you can probably do well investing that wisely!

Definitely, but with part-time scouting staff and DNA restrictions, it's harder than you think!

Loads of trials? Clubs will let transfer-listed/cheap players often come in for trials.

2023/24 Season.....Judgement Day

9e208d459c5a9ea616f2890c35e3704c.png

It was such a tight end to the season. we went on a barnstorming run from the end of December which saw us only lose twice! It came down to the final day and all we had to do, was match Uerdingen and Mannheim's results.

Kick-Off

1.FC Magdeburg 0-0 Würzburger Kickers
KFC Uerdingen 05 0-0 VfL Osnabrück
Borussia Mönchengladbach II 0-0 SV Waldorf Mannheim 07

Not the most exciting first half of football for such an important set of games, apart from Uerdingen taking the lead and pushing us down into the playoff spot.

Half-Time

1.FC Magdeburg 0-0 Würzburger Kickers
KFC Uerdingen 05 1-0 VfL Osnabrück

Grimaldi 17
Borussia Mönchengladbach II 0-0 SV Waldorf Mannheim 07

Second half proved a roller-coaster ride, with Uerdingen and Mannheim both scoring a minute after the restart, pushing us out of the promotion spots. However, we had a bigger issue...
c56abbfb95cfc37d5adf8119e3c8568e.png

Our top striker had a calf injury and our star youth winger was sat on a 6.1, just 5 mins into the second half. So on came Kristoffer Krebs and Fabian Brandt. And it was Brandt's hard work on the left wing that saw him cut back the ball to David Herold, whose 20 yard strike had eyes as it flew into the far corner avoiding defenders and goalie alike to put us 1-0 up.

This put us back into the sole automatic spot. Krebs then hit the bar just 5 minutes later and we were on top. A warning shot was fired a few minutes after that, as Würzburger had the ball in the back of the net, but it was ruled out for offside.
Then, on 83 minutes, what seemed to be a simple backpass to the goalie seemed to just die unexpectedly and Kristoffer Krebs, chasing the lost cause, managed to get there a fraction before the goalie and lift the ball over him into the net for 2-0.

Pandemonium in the stands! Even a late goal by Würzburger couldn't dampen our spirits and we celebrated promotion by the final whistle

Full-Time

1.FC Magdeburg 2-1 Würzburger Kickers
Herold 57......................................Holtschoppen 84
Krebs 83

KFC Uerdingen 05 4-1 VfL Osnabrück
Grimaldi 17, 53...............................Noss 76
Göbel 46
Nzogang 68

Borussia Mönchengladbach II 0-1 SV Waldorf Mannheim 07

2023/24 End of Season Review

WOW! We finally did it. It.It was a poor start as we ended up only picking up two wins between August and December, but we clawed our way back in the second half of the season and we ended up finishing 3rd in 3.Bundesliga, which was our best finish under my stewardship and sealed our promotion on the final day!. We improved again with our defensive play this season, as we finished 9th overall in Goals Conceded, two places higher than last season. We also monstered the league, 1st in Goals Scored. so there's that to be happy with.

2024/25 Season Preview

Last season saw us finally break our hoodoo and gain promotion from 3.Bundesliga, Our mission this season from the board was clear.  Avoid Relegation from the 2.Bundesliga and reach the Second Round of the DfB-Pokal in our first endeavour into it since I took over. We've also been given a wage budget of £65k p/w and £1.8m in transfer funds! Woo! Star striker Anton Raudsepp is getting antsy that we're not good enough for him, but for a player with a £15m release clause and me, willing to accept half that with a 50% sell on, there are surprisingly few teams willing to pony up, preferring to have their paltry £2.2m bids rejected.

The first team currently looks like this on July 1

6b5ce8051a0df016dcc7e74ef336d3e7.png

Finally, we have minimum DNA requirements for everyone... Only the minimum requirements are going up this season...:ackter:

Scouting the U-19's as ever, looking for that bit extra quality this time.

Goal difference seems to show how good each 70 points team was or I’m reading too much into it.

We lost heavily to both Uerdingen and Mannheim tbh, so no, it's not the best judge. Ours was padded by a 7-0 win against SV Wehen Wiesbaden

August 2024 Transfer Window

Our first ever season in 2.Bundesliga meant that we needed to shore up at points as our team wasn't the best.

Transfers IN:

27abfe5628a2516f7ac920b0c5fe4db4.png

  • D/WBR Sergi Rosanas (free, FC Barcelona B) Work Rate 12, Pace 14 - DNA: Passed

Sergi came in to cure the fact we had zero depth at right back. He'd be the first choice right back, with Davide Itter as backup

ed76521fa4a64a8462d3765efe6b1bb2.png

  • M/AMC Lukas Heitmeier (loan, Borussia Mönchengladbach) Work Rate 17, Pace 13 - DNA: Passed

Lukas came in to provide some creativity in the middle of the park.

6f60f3721d758324de2f739694b1fd2f.png

  • DC Colin Kleine-Bekel (Free Agent) Work Rate 10, Pace 14 - DNA: Failed

Colin was happy to come at the end of last season, however his wage demands were too high. So I let his contract expire and offered him reduced terms. This had the unfortunate side-effect of having him fail the increased DNA threshold

5446a189c3ecbcf143b098148c93b8ea.png

  • M/AMR/ST Zach Thomas (loan, Borussia Dortmund) Work Rate 14, Pace 16 - DNA: Passed

Zach joins our band of loanee Aussies. And that was really the only reason I signed him.

79f03e71d9218128283b83cc89d71604.png

  • DM/MC Xavi Sintes (Free Agent) Work Rate 13, Pace 12 - DNA: Passed

The ex-Real Madrid B midfielder was spotted by our scouts and seems to have the talent to be able to anchor our midfield for the next few years.

7dfae00a91902894f38ac490e936d3f3.png

  • WBL/DM/M/AMC John Johnson (loan, Borussia Dortmund) Work Rate 13, Pace 10 - DNA: Failed

Jonno came back to the club on loan so that he could help us stay in the division. Hopefully.

  • D/DM/MC Adam Grostate (loan, Borussia Dortmund) Work Rate 17, Pace 12 - DNA: Passed

Adam also returned to the club in tandem with Johnson so that we could try and escape a) the drop and b) that we had no midfielders of that level.

2025 Youth Intake Preview

c4249934410704886219aedce066699f.png

Another golden generation? Well, judging by the level of players we have now, this may not be a bad thing. Let's deep dive!

There are a lot of wingers in the system - Well, considering we are losing them at an alarming rate, good! :D
We don't have any positional shortages in our future youth intake - We're desperately short of creative midfielders, so this is good news
At least one of our full backs has plenty of promise - Again, not bad, we could do with a right back tbh.
At least one of our centre backs looks promising - Always a good thing, since we're intending to stay up and move up
There is an attacking midfielder we should keep a very close eye on - Please, please, please be an AMC that can be re-trained to MC
One of our wingers looks like a very handy prospect - Same as above. They're getting sold in droves, so replacing them is all good
We have two forwards considered to be fine prospects - Always good to get new prospects in, either to play or for profit
We have one good young German attacking midfielder from Menden (Saeurland) who has caught the eye -  Again, hopefully he's an AMC that can be re-trained
This is a terrific group of players coming through, and has the potential to be a real golden generation for the club - Judging by the standard of our current players, yes, this would be most welcome.
Most of our new goalkeepers coming through are of poor quality - Ehhh.. It's not THAT much of an issue right now, but needs to change in a season or two
Most of the new central midfielders do not look like they'll ever been good enough for the first team - *throws hat on the floor and stamps on it*
The next crop of wide midfielders do not look like great prospects - Re-training is a thing as we have a gap at ML

January 2025 Transfer Window

We had a pretty great start to the season, then fell off a cliff. We're currently surviving in 2.Bundesliga, but we didn't quite have the backups and scouting to bolster our squad, so let's see what we can do..

Transfers IN:

None. Nix. Nada. I truly couldn't find anyone to fit our DNA thresholds this half season. A lot of the players we wanted didn't like our bad run of form (understandably) so it's a wait and see. Also, with one eye on next season, buying better players only for them to want out if we get relegated? Not for me. Best to struggle with what we have IMO.

Transfers OUT:

AMRL/ST Joshua Weigel (£7.5m + 50% sell on, Bayer 04 Leverkusen)
ST Anton Raudsepp (£7.5m + 50% sell on, RasenBallsport Leipzig)

These two player sales were absolute kicks in the nuts. Weigel was our star winger and the board accepted a £7.5m bid for him over my head. I protested and said I could get more. The board relented, so I got to add a 50% sell-on to his price. Thankfully. Anton Raudsepp had been making noises about wanting to leave for ages, but our offers for him were verging on the disrespectful. Happily I managed to beat Leipzig up to £7.5m from £4.2m.

  • AML/ST Joachim Vester - Work Rate: 14, Pace 13: DNA: Passed

  • M/AMR/ST Matthias Hartmann - Work Rate: 12, Pace 17: DNA: Passed

  • AMRLC Andre Allerback - Work Rate: 14, Pace 12: DNA: Passed

2024/25 End of Season Review

A really odd season for our first promoted season. Started brilliantly, ended up winning just two of ELEVEN matches and didn't get our first draw of the season until MARCH!!!. However, we rallied and we ended up finishing 10th in 2.Bundesliga, which, again, was our best finish under my stewardship. Our defensive play this season was shocking, as we finished 16th overall in Goals Conceded, third bottom.... However, we also monstered the league, 1st in Goals Scored with 76. I wasn't happy with the makeup of the squad with too many loanees and the loss of our two best attacking players really hurt us, so I'm hoping for a more settled lineup this season.

Our first foray into the DfB-Pokal under my stewardship meant that we beat 1.FC Heidenheim 1846 4-3, thanks to a 93rd minute winner from loanee Zach Thomas, only to see us lose 2-5 to established Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt

Good to see the love for Mikki van Sas. However, three of our best selling shirts were for the loanees, so that needs to change for next season

VB are my save for FM22 as well!

Will you be using a similar rule set-up?

I’m thinking of ranges for certain combinations of skills adding up to a minimum total so far.

Yes, definitely, however I will be going for youth only, so applying it to the youth team

2025/26 Season Preview

Our season was one wild roller-coaster, but we managed to finish strongly and away from the relegation zone. To wit, our board have noticed and have given us the following targets.  Finish Mid-Table in the 2.Bundesliga and reach the Second Round of the DfB-Pokal . We've also been given a wage budget of £65k p/w and £5m in transfer funds! Woo! Star yute winger Florian Gewelke is also getting antsy that we're not good enough for him, following on from Raudsepp and Weigel's departures. So that is something that needs keeping an eye on, or indeed dealing with when a decent bid comes in.

The first team currently looks like this on July 1

2dadeb98d50c25ef132a68e655e78ae3.png

As you can see, we've only got two players who don't fit the DNA minimums and one was signed before the increase and the other one is a youth player. We can train the youth player, but we do need to bring in some more talent into the midfield.

This didn't give us much last season, but let's hope for better

I’m not going completely this path, but will be taking an interest in it.

You’d think with the population in and surrounding Berlin, a lot of good youth prospects could be enticed to football instead of other interests (hmm what is that!?).

Is the general cost of entry very expensive for this?

Im also going to include another Country into the save and make it an enclave for that nation. I was thinking Australia, with the aim of having so many wonderkids (if possible) and full internationals. It will be detrimental picking Australia as when they play their international games compared to the league fixture list.

Get Dortmund as a parent club. They’ve had a load of Aussie’s come through this edition

Dortmund historically have had Aussie’s play for the club over the years. Arguably the best one was Ned Zelic.

August 2025 Transfer Window

For stabilisation purposes, we need to get better, but without paying through the nose for it.

Transfers IN:

7dbb2411a852d028ed7b967f2eaee403.png

  • GK Max Dieckerhoff (free, Borussia Dortmund) Work Rate 7, Pace 13 - DNA: Failed

Max was signed as a minor backup, but with an eye on Mikki being poached by bigger clubs. He fails the DNA test, but Work Rate isn't quite as much of an issue for goalies.

c1d4e6a48f63b1d42ae1207f93b9fc1f.png

  • WB/M/AML Jonas Schneider-Maus (loan, Rassenballsport Leipzig) Work Rate 15, Pace 14 - DNA: Passed

We had some middling players for the left side, so we picked up Jonas to be the main outlet there, whilst the younger players develop

ca0ec51f0aee37f5292df6ff4d6c02b1.png

  • MC/AM RLC Josh Adam (£1.3m, Manchester City) Work Rate 12, Pace 14 - DNA: Passed

We broke the bank to pick up Josh from EPL side Manchester City. Josh solves all our creative problems in the centre of the pitch. Signed him on a free, but we paid £1.3m in compensation for him.

Transfers OUT:

MR/AM RC/ST Florian Gewelke (£7.75m to FC Augsburg)
DL Orhan Öztürk (£100k to Hannover 96)

2026 Youth Intake Preview

9c1a4be71677051baebfb9d8cc8dd554.png

As Loyd Grossman once said, let's look at the evidence.

There are a healthy number of new full backs in the the pipeline - Need some decent right backs to be honest, so I'm excited for this
There are a lot of wingers in the system - As ever.. :brock:
At least one of our full backs has plenty of promise - Please be a right back. I have enough talented left backs to last a lifetime
One of our defensive midfielders has the potential to go far - As long as he likes being re-trained to an MC, we're laughing!
We have two forwards who are considered to be fine prospects - Ooh, baby. We don't have any decent talents up front to take the load off Krebs
We have one good young German defensive midfielder from Schönebeck (Elbe) who has caught the eye - Our second good player from this town, so I hope he'll be as good as advertised
This is a terrific group of players  coming through and has the potential to be a real 'golden generation' for the club - Never bad to hear
There are no new central midfielders in the pipeline - That kinda sucks tbh, we need new blood there
Most of our new goalkeepers coming through are of poor quality - We have three talents already. We'll be fine
The next crop of wide midfielders do not look like great prospects - Could be better, could be worse tbh.
Most of our attacking midfielders coming through look to be below the required standard -  Again, not the worst problem we could have
There are few good wingers in general - We have our pipeline stocked for now. Another few raids by bigger clubs will start to hurt, however

January 2026 Transfer Window

We're doing well, but just waiting for the bottom to fall out again. But the last few days of the window threw us into chaos...

Transfers IN:

f9bebede529a601308cfc42d3024a13f.png

  • DRL/WBL Louis Schiele (loan, VfL Wolfsburg) Work Rate: 14, Pace 16 - DNA: Passed

Good to see that we managed to loan back our first choice full-back. Thankfully, otherwise we were screwed

db5861d44943dd12426a82ff3eadc852.png

  • D/MC/ST Bienvenu Ngoyi (loan, Borussia Dortmund) Work Rate: 14, Pace 12 - DNA: Passed

This was a Hail Mary pass as we were left without our starting target man with 4 hours to go and I needed a replacement. Thank God for our friendly, neighbourhood parent club

Transfers OUT:

D/WB/ML David Herold (£40k, SC Preußen Münster)
DRL/WBL Louis Schiele (£6m, VfL Wolfsburg)
ST Peter Frank (£6.25m, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim)

What a nightmare. We moved on Herold with the aim of promoting Schiele to the first choice DL slot. But with 3 days to go, Wolfsburg decided they wanted him and for £6m + 50%, it was't much of a fight we put up. We immediately put in for a loan back which was accepted and signed on deadline day , which stopped things getting even worse. Then, on Deadline Day itself, we lost our main target man Peter Frank to Hoffenheim for £6.25m + 50% sell on and were scrambling desperately for a body to throw up front in his position when we thankfully got one from our parent club

Just caught up on this. Congrats on the promotion and also a steady first season in the 2nd tier.

Plenty of movement in and out - and the trademark 50% next sell on clause. :brock:

Gutted Peter Frank was sold, will be interesting to see his career progress. Still got some solid recruits in recent intakes though and of course the Dortmund farm!

Oh man, you got raided in positions a bit on the light side for depth. Hopefully you’ve got skill in the forward position.

I think Josh Adams is a great signing

Looking forward to the youth intake.

Welcome to Eigenschaften - 2026

Eigenschaften.thumb.jpg.f025fc4f7631cb62cb5b929ac207b273.jpg

Welcome to our new custom built facility on the banks of the Elbe. We now have a Superb training facility where we can get the best possible outcome from our Exceptional youth recruitment and coaching. We also have some room in the facility to upgrade to be a force across Europe.

Without further ado, let's dive in

A good looking intake on the surface, let's take a dive in.

b9b4fc2fc50296223f0d80735fb99792.png

  • D/WBL Stephan Fichtel - Work Rate: 15, Pace 12 - DNA: Passed

A f**king left back. Another one. Do I re-train him for right back, or do I wait for another intake. Choices, choices...

138ce3b92de09218dcad7b19ccf8ae72.png

  • AMRL/ST Petr Koch - Work Rate: 13, Pace 12 - DNA: Passed

A winger-cum-striker coming in hot. He'll be nice as a striker, but I need him to marinate in the U-18's for a few years.

f331d6e8ed20f143ce9d4fc302356f4f.png

  • MRC/ST Elias Damaschke - Work Rate: 13, Pace 10 - DNA: Failed

This was a horrific intake for DNA, we had just two of our intake fit the profile, so this was our best star-rated player. His Pace of 10 fails the DNA test, but Elias will be trained for the MC position for when Josh is sold on.

Simon Kischel was our second-best rated player in this intake, but his Work Rate of 10 and Pace of 8 means he's way, way, way off what we need and I'm not sure if he'll ever get there.

A fullback that can play on both sides is a pretty good option to have.

That strike is definitely more of a winger/playmaker type of player than a leading the line player.

The stars make that intake in a good light.

Is it hard to train up Workrate and Pace?

Depends on personality and adaptability, IMO

Pace comes under Quickness individual training and Work Rate comes under Endurance individual training

Four points behind... It's not looking likely for us.. I'm expecting it to finish; 3rd - Fortuna Düsseldorf, 4th - 1.FC Madgeburg, 5th - 1.FSV Mainz 05
