We end up seven points clear of the drop, how on earth did we manage that?!

Looking at those Yugoslavian and Soviet leagues shows an interesting combination of teams from their modern day countries…. This is a really cool concept! Also, in your first season in Albania there was a club called Stalin. Surely they weren’t named after the actual Stalin? 😮

How do the continental rules work? And with the USSR, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia meshed together does that mean lesser European countries are more likely to qualify for the major tournaments?

Good luck btw 😀

They surely were. Albania was one of the few countries which continued honoring Stalin after his death, and that was the reason why they left Warsaw Pact later.

Wow! I think I need to brush up on my Cold War history. We didn't really have much to do with it down here so didn't learn about it in school or anything.

Whats the transfers like in this compared to 1988 when eastern bloc players didn't often move west unless they were a superstar and no one from the west went east?

There's been a few, in hindsight I probably should have loaded the North & South American leagues as view only as well so then the foreigner rules would be correct for them as well with there being less transfers likely.

So each team is allowed no more than 3 foreigners in continental competition and in the main leagues. Champions League is just the winners of the league from each country and is a straight knockout from the 1st Round to the last, Cup Winners Cup is just the Cup Winners from each country and the UEFA Cup is....I don't know, I have no idea who qualifies for it.

Not really no, only 8 nations qualify for the European Championship which has 2 groups, a Semi Final & Final. Below are the groups for 2024 European Championship qualifiers.

More do qualify for the World Cup though!

Funnily enough I've actually managed Naftetari previously and had no idea that they used to have Stalin in their name.

Ah yes, it's that time of the season where we become good, and with five games to go we have the exact same amount of goals scored and conceded as what we finished with last season, which really says something about both our attack and defence.

Our worst season yet, but we still finish 7th, again with the best attack in the league, but we conceded 35 goals more than the team above us.

Two more wins! Besa are still just as unbeatable though, hopefully we can keep up our form in the promotion split at the end of March.

Unfortunately we lose Eldin & Andi who had played in every game this season, neither of them even took a step up in quality which is disappointing.

A mixed end to the season but the transfers really worked out well for us as in our 4th season at this level we finally cracked the top 7, now we just need to do it again!
