Play-offs advice

So I’m in my 3rd season of managing Wrexham, and I am now entering the play-offs for a place in the Championship. 3rd vs 4th place in League 1. It’s my first experience of the play-offs in FM. Just wondering if there is any advice for me to take on board? Is it just the case of, field your best team, player sharpness, reliable tactics? (Also, away goals don’t count right?)

I’m not really expecting promotion to the championship, as came 1st in the National League, and 1st in League 2 as well back-to-back. But it would be amazing if I could do back-to-back-to-back promotions.

Any advice is appreciated, thank you guys.

I would say to treat each leg as a cup tie that you expect to win and pick your team and tactic accordingly

Okay thank you. So each match is a cup final. Away goals aren’t counted are they?

As far as I can recall, there are no away goals rules in the playoffs- if the scores are tied after 90 mins in the second leg, it goes to extra time and then to penalties.
