To be fair, I have this impression as well. Clichés about English playing hard but fair, don't like diving. But those notions belong in the days of 'kick 'n rush'. They died together with that type of football. English players are like all other players, end of. The other one is of course 'the best league in the world'. The richest league in the world is simply a better term for it. It's one of those penalty moments where you're angry it shouldn't be given, but where you also understand why it can be given. Denmark were just too passive after Damsgaard scored.
