This is up there as bad as I've seen a team look defensively relative to their supposed ability. And I've watched Leeds get beat 6-0 by Sheffield Wednesday.

It's absolutely staggering how easy Wales are finding it to make space. I know you've got the likes of Ramsey and Bale who are world class are their best, but nobody seems interested in keeping hold of their man in defensive situations.

In the last year Turkey have scored 4 against Netherlands and 3 against Russia, Croatia and Germany. So to see them so blunt in attack is kind of a surprise. No surprise about conceding though, those games respectively were 4-2, 3-2, 3-3 and 3-3.

15 minutes of anxiety coming up for me.

I know theres always an element of worry watching your team at a tournament but i wouldnt be worried playing this Turkey team, they are comfortably the worst team at the tournament.

Turkey have created slightly more than the nothing they did against I T A L Y, but they've come out a little bit more here and could and should have conceded 3 or 4. Dreadful.

What does Bale bring to this Welsh team? Almost just seems to be there to distract the opposition and maybe belt in a thunderbastard?

played the ball into Ramsey for the goal? :D

surely Wales will take a chance in the last 10 minutes, would expect Turkey to cough them up

His passing was great 1st half but now it looks like he's trying to make up for the missed pen

Both games today have been great entertainment, but 24 teams is just too much.

More football is always better, both have been great shambolic fun :brock:

On second thoughts, ditch the highway. You could have a farm there.

On that last Wales transition into attack I think there was a second on the frame with no Turkey players in sight.

I think Turkey being so woeful has made Wales look better than they actually are.

Against Italy, Wales would have been slaughtered I think.

Wales finishing 2nd in this group would be big. Potential of someone like Russia/Denmark in L16, before possibly like Group C winner in QF. Real good side of the draw for avoiding the elite big teams.

High praise when Paulinho made it there.

You absolutely know what I mean

He'd have ended up playing regularly for one of those two and not used as a way to launder money

If Aaron Ramsey could have kept himself fit he'd have ended up at Real Madrid or Barcelona

Instead the poor lad ended up at Juventus.
