It seems the step up isnt a big one and we have continued our great form on to the new season. One match missing as I couldn't fit it in was a 5-1 win away to La Roda! League Table We sit 4pts clear at just after the halfway stage and 8pts clear of 3rd! Spanish Cup We finally got past the first round and in some style. A mainly 2nd string team (except for the strikers) battered Azuqueca 11-0! Goalkeeper Watch Kerr has 6 goals in 20 games and Diatta has 0 goals in 3 games so far! Player Review - Moshiko Argamani (YP26E) Showing really good improvement pretty much in all areas. 12 goals in 19 games is a great return this season! Youth Intake Preview A big goalkeeper prospect and another centre back prospect would be great. On the wing is really were we need a big player to come through! deez0r Posted June 15, 2021 Author Share Posted June 15, 2021 End Of Season Results Another very solid 2nd half to the season. Was it enough for promotion? League Table It was! We had promotion wrapped up with 2 games left and even though we still had a shot at the title I decided to give more game time to those who havent had as much including 3 of our most recent intake! Spanish Cup We managed to get through 2 rounds but our backup players weren't good enough to get passed Extremadura as we prioritised our promotion push! Goalkeeper Watch Kerr scored 7 goals in 35 games, Diatta didn't get off the mark in 4 games and Balaguer didn't score in his 2 games at the end of the season. Player Review - Jorge Marrero (YP26B) Got game time both in the holding role as well as out left as we got a few injuries. Rapid development from him this season jumping an impressive 17 CA points! Useful in providing 6 assists and 2 goals also! Player Of The Season - Dinko Kovacec (YP25C) For the 2nd season in a row Kovacec picked up the top goalscorer in the league award scoring an impressive 33 goals in it which was 7 clear of his closest rival. 38 in total as well as 10 assists show how important he was this season! Young Player Of The Season - Moshiko Argamani (YP26E) With Merchant leaving last year I thought we would have a void in the team but Argamani really has stepped up. Ending up with 23 goals in 32 games which really helped us go up this season! Youth Review Goalkeepers Kerr continues his solid development and should hopefully be pushing up towards the 100 CA mark next season. He continued to provide solid goals from penalties and set pieces as well. Balaguer is our new number 2. Diatta hadn't developed at all really in 2 seasons. I will get him game time where possible, especially in the Cup. Centre Backs Sanchez continues to be our main man at the back but is starting to get pushed hard by others. He again provided solid assists and goals from centre back. Alvarez had a breakout year and developed 19 CA points. Also provided 3 goals from centre back and was vital for our promotion this season. Juan Pablo is our up and coming star. At 6 foot 6 if we can develop him a bit further not only will he be vital at the back but could be very good in set piece situations. Prieto is our 4th choice now. Still some way from being a regular starter but definitely has potential. Got some game time at the end of the season and can hopefully be rotated next season to aid development. Full Backs Carlos went from being our starting left back to being overtaken by Pau in the backend of the season. Still a very solid player and provided 4 assists this season. Allende has hit the big milestone of 100 CA and is our main right back. Provided another impressive 7 assists from full back. Pau was our rotational player on each side for the first 6 months before his development starting going through the roof and he ousted Carlos as our starting left back. Provided a very solid 6 assists! Pepe hasn't developed this year despite his game time. He will continue to be our 4th choice full back but I hope next season his stats will develop as we have others that could push him out of the first team. Def. Mid Moreira was our 3rd choice in the position but still got solid game time and showed good development. A goal and 2 assists from his limited game time shows that we do have a solid prospect on our hands. Cox will be our next 100 CA player, he is developing incredibly quickly and is providing goals and assists from this deep role which is making a big difference. Marrero has been backup DMC as well as sometimes filling in on the left hand side when suspensions and injuries hit. Amazing development this year which will hopefully continue next season. Att. Mid Samb has become another player to hit the 100 CA mark but his development has slowed as he approaches towards his top PA. Again another solid season in terms of numbers with 9 goals, including a hat trick in injury time. and 6 assists. Bilbao had limited game time but has shot up in double figures in CA development. If he keeps it up he will get more game time and the planned loan out might be scrapped! Carbonell like Pepe hasn't developed despite a fair bit of game time. A potential loan move next season might be the best option for all parties. Wingers Torrella has again shown great development. Despite his limited potential he really has stepped up for the team in the past 2 season. 6 goals and 8 assists is a very good return. Perez was called up to replace Ibarra and he has stepped up and shown good development as well as providing 5 assists. Lets hope he can get off the mark next season with a few goals. Martinez was used mainly from the bench and despite his bad personality has went up a very good 6 CA points. I am hoping with being professional now we are reaping the benefits. Attackers Sayabera was doing time mainly on the wing but also joined in up top. He had the most assists out of anyone in the league and again provided us with double figures in terms go goals. Argamani has his breakthrough season. 23 goals is a fantastic return and 16 CA points developed. Kovacec is now our main man ip top. An unbelievable 38 goals in 36 starts as well as double figures in assists. May be difficult to keep him if his form keeps up! Gonzalez was one of the new intake and has come up to be our 4th choice striker. It was a struggle in the bottom division but when moving up I did a quick check of the rough CA's in each league and there was only 4 or 5 points on average a difference which shows you that the leagues are quite close. League Table We sit a point outside the playoffs as our players continue to develop and gel really well. Spanish Cup We were hammered by Valladolid as we lost a man early on. Goalkeeper Watch Kerr has 3 goals and 2 assists in 19 games whereas Balaguer hasn't got off the mark in his 1 game thus far. Player Review - Mateo Rufaza (YP26D) Called into the first team this season he has shown really good development thus far and has played games in both the DMC and AMC positions. Good luck anyways, Primera is not that far! Yeah I think on average around 20 points or so below most teams in terms of average CA. I think there is something to be said with how familiar the team is to the tactics as it hasn't changed since I started the game. Cohesion has definitely helped as I have noticed in some of my other games an initial struggle after an influx of signings. This is the tactic I have been using for pretty much all of FM21! Players YP28A - Ismael Juan YP28B - Juan Collardo YP28C - Juan Carlos Fernandez YP28D - Paco YP28E - Adan Iriarte YP28F - Jorge YP28G - Dino Williams YP28H - Carmelo Fuentes First Team Call Ups I will be calling up Juan, Collardo, Fernandez and Paco to the first team right away. We were beaten and beaten well. Hopefully that away goal can provide us with some possibilities but with another 2 going on international duty for the 2nd leg I wont hold my breath! 2nd Leg It wasn't to be. We managed to get a win but they held on to go through 4-3 on aggregate. Disappointing but we ave performed amazingly well to even get to this stage! deez0r Posted June 18, 2021 Author Share Posted June 18, 2021 Squad Review Goalkeepers Liam Kerr Paco Kerr is comfortably are number one and has developed very well. Has recently hit 100 CA and has 39 goals for the club so far! Paco is our new number 2 as he has the best personality and highest PA out of our other keepers. I will try and get him more game time this season! Full Backs Jose Carlos Junior Allende Pau Ismael Juan Carlos is still our rotational full back on either side now that he has been surpassed by Pau and Allende. A solid backup to have in one of our strongest areas! Allende has been fantastic for us and has improved to one of the best players at the club. Pau has been improving very quickly and is probably our most well rounded full back. Mental stats are outstanding for his age! Juan is our new prospect in this area and looks like he could be a big player for us in a couple of seasons! Centre Backs Bernabe Sanchez Blas Alvarez Juan Pablo Juan Collado Sanchez who has performed in a number of different positions for us has finally settled at centre back. A very solid player and tends to rotate in with Alvarez and Pablo for the 2 starting centre back positions. Alvarez is another of our solid centre backs and again has been developing well. Still some way until his top end PA and him and Pablo could be our centre backs for quite a few seasons in the next season or 2! Pablo is 6 foot 6 and has been developing really well and has surpassed Alvarez in development. Will be a main stay for some time! Def. Mid Randy Cox Jorge Marrero Cox who has one of the best potential porn star names in the world is also now our most talented player. We are starting to get offers of around 275k for him but its well below his minimum release fee and no fuss has been kicked off yet! Marrero is another of those fast developing players who has also filled in from time to time on the left of midfield. Although this position is definitely his most suited. Att. Mid Kader Samb Mateo Ruzafa Samb is still our main AMC but I dont think his stats really get the best out of this position. But his stats have shown otherwise! Ruzafa is probably more suited for a deeper lying position but we are short on AMC's currently! Wingers Jose Carlos Torrella Adan Iriarte Juan Carlos Fernandez Juanfran Sayabera Torrella is still one of our main starters but I do believe this is our weakest area in the team. I think this season he will become a more rotational player as Fernandez improves! Iriarte I have been training for the left wing spot and he will come up to be our 4th choice winger next season! Fernandez is our big prospect here and he will become a regular starter this season. Probably our most rounded prospect in the team. Sayabera I would say is still our best well rounded player in the team and he is still not banging the goals in but his assists in the last 3 seasons have been 26, 18 and 28! Strikers Moshiko Argamani Dinko Kovacec Domingo Gonzalez Argamani has been performing really well for us and isnt far off from being a full International as he has 5 goals in 7 u21's games for Israell! Kovacec is the one player I would say we cannot afford to lose. Top goalscorer in the league in the last 3 seasons shows you how vital he is for us. League Table We sit 7th in a very tight table which is good enough for a playoff spot currently due to the B teams being ineligible to play in the top division. Spanish Cup Our poor form in the Spanish Cup continues as we exit in the first round. Our backup players just weren't able to get over the line. Goalkeeper Watch Kerr has 2 goals in 19 games and Paco has yet to get off the mark! Player Review - Juan Pablo (YP26A) Is now our main centre half and is progressing very quickly and will become our next 100 CA player! 2 goals this season shows he's becoming a bigger threat. This young team is really starting to gel nicely! League Table Promotion! We did it the hard way through the playoffs. We were very close to securing it via automatic promtotion but just fell short. Spanish Cup Our usual 1st round exit! Goalkeeper Watch Kerr scored 3 goals in 42 games which is a disappointing return for him. Paco didnt get off the mark in 5! Player Review - Juan Carlos Fernandez (YP28C) A first full season for Fernandez (YP28C) who started mainly on the wing but can also fill in up top. 6 goals and 10 assists for a 16 year old is solid numbers and his development has been very good. Player Of The Season - Dinko Kovacec (YP25C) It couldn't be anyone else really. 42 goals in 42 games as well as 11 assists. By far the top goalscorer in the league and also made his full international debut for Croatia! Young Player Of The Season - Moshiko Argamani (YP26E) Argamani has another fantastic season alongside Kovacec scoring 26 goals and providing 11 assists. Other News A new stadium is being built. Not the biggest but its a start down the road of making us a much bigger club! Youth Review Goalkeepers Kerr continues to show great improvement and will be our number 1 for a few years still! He also made his international debut for Australia this season! Paco got more game time this season including 2 semi final play off games due to Kerr being on International duty. Good improvement this season with 9 CA points increased. Centre Backs Sanchez continues to be a main stay in the team and is still providing solid numbers in terms of goals and assists. Nearly at his top PA see will continue to start until such a point that Alvarez and Collardo replaces him. Alvarez has a poor season both on the pitch and in terms of his development. He did have an injury setback which meant he was out for nearly 4 months so lets hope next season he improves. Pablo is now our main centre back and showing great development. 4 goals again this season shows he can be a threat from set pieces. 15 CA points developed shows he still has potential to grow also! Collardo has shot up in terms of CA. He isnt far off from replacing Alvarez as our 3rd choice centre back and if he keeps developing the way he has this season then he wont be far off from being a starter. Full Backs Carlos has started to stagnate in his development. He is now our 4th choice full back. Similar to Alvarez he had an injury which kept him out for a couple of months. Allende is up towards his top end PA but continues to be our most solid full back. However with Pau and Juan showing really good improvement that could change next season. Pau is being chased by a number of clubs but is still happy to stay. 8 assists and good development in terms of CA show he could be a very good player in the next couple of seasons. Juan is developing very quickly and will get more game time next season. Huge PA so could become a massive player for us. Def. Mid With Cox leaving new intake graduate Burgos replaced him in the first team squad becoming backup to Marrero. He has had a good start and even got off the mark. Marrero is now our starting DMC and whilst he doesn't have as much ability as Cox did he has a very good 6 assists from the deep lying position. Att. Mid Samb has another great season in terms of numbers for us. As he reaches up towards his top PA and with others coming behind him to challenge him he needs to continue to hit these numbers to be our starter. Rufaza developed OK this season but his performance on the pitch was very poor. 1 assist was all to show for his season. Gomez is our big prospect in this area and will be backup to Samb this season. Huge potential here and one for the future. Wingers Torrella was reduced to more of a rotational player this season after a number of seasons as a starter. Still providing very good numbers but his limited PA for a now top division club may go against him. Iriarte has shown incredible development here. 30 CA points in a season is nearly unheard of. He will continue to get a lot of game time. Fernandez had a very good season. 6 goals and double figures for assists along with 19 points CA development show he will be our main winger for a number of years. Sayabera has really started to slow down in terms of development here but his very well rounded stats mean he is still providing great numbers. Double figures for both goals and assists again show how vital he is. Diaz burst onto the scene and with our playoff spot guaranteed quite early he got a lot of games at the end of the season scoring 2 goals in 6 games! Strikers Argamani had another very solid season and 26 goals and 11 assists show you how good he was. This is an area we are lacking a top prospect in however and with us playing in La Liga next season this could be an issue. Kovacec we simply must keep at all costs. We have managed to increase his release clause to a number which should protect us. A goal a game is a massive achievement. Gonzalez has had a very poor season and provided 0 goals or assists. Conceded and scored a lot of goals and have picked up 4 wins thus far. League Table We sit 5pts clear of the relegation zone and with 2 of the bottom 3 a long way off we just need to be better than 1 other club! Spanish Cup I should just copy and paste from last season. Backup players played and even though we went down to 10 men we should still be winning this game. Goalkeeper Watch Kerr has 0 goals and 1 assist in 15 games whereas Paco has 9 goals and 1 assist in 4 games! Player Review - Juan Collado (YP28B) Showing great progress here and is now our 3rd choice centre back as Alvarez continues to struggle with his development. Mentally very strong and with his technicals really improving could become a big player for us. Also has a goal and an assist to his name in 6 games which is great! Youth Intake Preview A winger would be great for us but any big prospects anywhere would be a benefit! Could really use another striker coming through as well. deez0r Posted June 23, 2021 Author Share Posted June 23, 2021 End Of Season Results We didn't win in the last 9 games of the season, ironically our last win was beating the giants Real Madrid! Was it enough to stay up? League Table Just! We were 1 of of 4 teams who could go down on the last day of the season. We all lost! Spanish Cup The less said the better! Goalkeeper Watch Kerr scored 0 goals for the first time in his career! He managed to get 2 assists. Paco got 0 goals and also 2 assists and Lauren is yet to get off the mark in 3 games! Player Review - Higinio Diaz (YP29B) I think a loan move next season would be best for Diaz. He is showing good glimpses of his ability and he scored 2 goals and got 3 assists in 9 games! Player Of The Season - Dinko Kovacec (YP25C) If it wasn't for an injury which meant he missed most of the final third of the season he would have been La Liga's top scorer! Ending up with 24 goals in the top division is a great achievement. Young Player Of The Season - Juan Carlos Fernandez (YP28C) Our main starting winger now and he can also be used up front if need be! 5 goals and 11 assists show his progression! Youth Review Goalkeepers Centre Backs Full Backs Def. Mid Att. Mid Wingers Strikers First Team Changes I have decided to make some changes to the first team for next season as more need to go out on loan and others probably sold. This is how I think our first team will change next season. Goalkeepers: Paco will be sent out on loan to get some experience which leaves Kerr and Lauren has our 2 first team goalkeepers Centre Backs: Our 2 starting centre backs are now Pablo and Collado with Sanchez an able deputy. Alvarez has really struggled to develop and will be sent out on loan next season to see if this helps. I will be calling up Marcelino Perez to replace him in the first team Full Backs: Still a fairly good area for us with 3 of the 4 above 100 in CA now. Allende and Pau start most games but Juan has shown incredible development and may oust Allende out. Carlos is a bit like Alvarez in that his development has really slowed down. A loan season for him will hopefully reignite his career. I will be calling up Domingo to replace him in the first team. Def Mid: No real change here as both Marrero and Burgos are developing nicely! Att. Mid: I think I will give Rufaza a season out on loan to really kick start his career. He has been developing ok but needs more game time. Gomez was loaned out for this season and it really helped his development shooting up 19 CA points. He will come in and will probably replace Samb as our starting AMC at some point this season. Samb will continue to be a very useful part of the squad. He has hit his top end PA and still provides solid goals and assists for the team. Wingers: I think Torrella's time at the club will come to an end. We have started to get more quality in this area and with him limited PA it will only stop others developing. Iriarte I really like and his development has been fantastic meaning himself and Fernandez will be our starting wingers next season. Diaz I will look for a loan move to get him more game time. Jose is our big prospect in the squad and he will rotate in and out of the team. Sayabera will be utilised in numerous positions next season as we have limited amount of strikers! Strikers: We only really have 2. I will look to get Merchant back on loan if possible but other than that no change here! I may call up Christian Orok to be our 4th winger to enable Sayabera to become our rotational striker. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

We won our first 5 games and even though we have come back down to earth somewhat its still been a fantastic season. League Table We currently sit in the European spots and whilst I dont expect us to stay here we are miles clear of relegation! Spanish Cup We have managed to win a game in the Spanish Cup! A nice draw in the 2nd round as well so we might be going to the 3rd round for the first time! Goalkeeper Watch Kerr has 3 goals in 15 games and Lauren has 1 goal in 4 games! Player Review - Carles Gomez (YP29A) His season on loan really aided his development. Playing him in the AMC role he will become a big player for us in the next season or so! Youth Intake Preview A striker is our main ask this season! Youth Review Goalkeepers Centre Backs Full Backs Def. Mid Att.
