NONE WANTS ME

Recommended Posts

i have to say, the game is always beautiful, but, how is it possible that none wants me as manager? 5 champions league, 8 championship, all the national cup, third manager of all time, there is no team that ask for my service. never. and another thing. i give my player to a team. that player become the best striker of the championship, and they dont even do an offer for him when he come back. you have to improve this thing guys, is the same from years. is soooo boring

Would need more info - what club are you managing? How many leagues do you have loaded with what sized database? All those types of things. How long have you got left on your contract and how much are you being paid?

A whole host of things are taken into account when potentially approaching a manager at a different club, so would need to know how the game is setup. Likewise with a well-performing player.

Have you ever turned down an offer in the past (earlier in your career even)? I find that once you turn down a couple of offers you don't receive as many or any after awhile. That's purely anecdotal on my end though.

What do you mean by "not receiving proposal"? If you just sit and wait for them to send you proposal, than forget about it. It rarely happens. You need to apply for jobs than they'll invite to interview.

Also, having a job will reduce your chances for getting one. Having two jobs (club and nation) will even further reduce your chances to get job in both departments. Sometimes, to get job you want, it is required for you to resign from your previous job and to approach them as free agent.

I'm managing an unfancied team in Russia, and having got two league titles under my belt and my full licenses, I've had three direct offers from European clubs.

Sevilla, Borussia M and Lyon. I'm not leaving, but it very much DOES happen

If you have a big contract and it has lots of time left on it, then teams would have to pay a lot of money to your club if you left.

Presumably, the other teams are finding cheaper managers.

I had those cluster offers as well, but it indeed happens rarely as I said. Once in every 3 or 5 years, mostly when you're approaching end of existing contract (year or so). Some of them as well might be just "spam". Attend interview and they'll pick some other coach.  Further it's even more rare if you reject them, cause it makes game to "get a message" that you don't want to move so it stops "bothering" you for a while.
