Picking international squads

I took over an international squad with players already picked in the main and u21 squads. How do I remove them and pick new ones that aren't in either of the squads?

Select the player you want to call up/remove then at the bottom of the screen (or in the actions menu) select either [Call Up to Nation] or [Remove From Nation]
