Issue: My friend and I can't see/join each other's online game (FM21, PC, Steam)

As the title says, my friend and I play FM21 on PC (steam). We used to play online careers. However, we are unable to see or join each other's online games since the past few days. We do see a bunch of other online games but they aren't common. That is, we both see different lists of online games when we try to join an online game. I invited him to play using Steam Friends & Chat, but it gave him an error saying that the server doesn't exist. We have restarted our games, Steam and PCs but still face the same issue. We thought it might have been due to some issue in the save file and created a new game. The issue still remained. We have even done a fresh reinstall of our games but the issue still remains. We need your help. My friend is in India and I am currently in US, if that helps you narrow down the potential issues.
