Had no idea we're playing England on June 6th.

Delayed from last summer, England have rescheduled the same two warm up games.  Playing at Middlesbrough though instead of Villa Park.

Will there be crowds for England's warm up games?

I’ve not seen anything about tickets yet but shouldn’t be any reason why not. Covid roadmap says they can have punters after May 17th so 25% capacity would be about 8,000 or so.

Found out today that they have allocated some tickets to people in the away travel club. Not sure if you were after a ticket based on your previous post but doesn’t look like any are going on general sale.

Think this Covid world is really spoiling football for me, I absolutely love the Euros and World Cup but not being in work the day after a game for a bit of banter, rushing home to turn on the telly to watch a game or staying at work late/ going to a pub after work to watch a match. Man really miss those days.

Sweden 2-0 winners over Finland last night. Seb Larsson still finding the net at the ripe old age of 36.

Penalty though, but sure. Finland were disappointing, really thought they'd be more of a threat but the gap still seems big. Not that friendlies prove a lot but still.

Don't think you can even call that a B team for USMNT.

looks reasonably close to full strength to me, Pulisic aside I don't see any missing guaranteed starters from their best XI.

Oh, that's weird. When I looked earlier, it just showed the bench and I thought it was the XI listed in ridiculous order.

Turkey 0-0 Guinea is tonight’s result.

Poor result for the Turks that. They've got a couple of really good players that have come onto the scene in the last couple of years or so.

RB, Zeki Celik and attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici. Both coming into the tournament off the back of a fantastic season with Lille, winning Ligue 1 and being key players in that side.

Burak Yilmaz will probably be playing his last tournament for the NT as well at 35, another who's had a very good season just gone, 16 in 28 for Lille.

a couple of experimental lineups for Turkey but still seems to fit the trend of them struggling against sides they're expected to beat, given their impressive performances so far against more evenly matched opposition.

Latest scores:

Netherlands 1-2 Scotland (Depay '17; Hendry '11 Nisbet '64)
Romania 1-2 Georgia (Ivan '78; Mikautadze '61, Aburjania '71)
Germany 1-1 Denmark (Neuhaus '48; Y. Poulsen '71)
England 1-0 Austria (Saka '57)
France 2-0 Wales (Mbappé '35, Griezmann '48)

Both teams down to 10 men in Romania.

Morata is awful

20 years from now, people will wonder which kind of money laundering shenanigans happened with his transfers.

He's a mid-table team striker at best.

Italy looking decent, to noone's surprise Mancini is starting Bonucci-Chiellini, can't wait for them to get exposed in actual games.

As a RM player he was pretty decent coming off the bench or used sparringly, completely different player once he moved. Had so many chances, its like he's lost all ability with his feet and uses his head to score goals. Didnt he have a spell in Juve too?

Glad we got Lukaku instead of him when we went through that phase, what a disaster we could've ended up with

He went from Real to Juve, then back to Real before Chelsea bought him.

He was always decent, but nothing special.

His highest goal tally is 20 back in 2016-17, across all competitions.

Never scored more than 15 in the league.

He's a decent backup player for top teams or a striker for mid-table, but his total transfer fees so far are 161.5m pounds. That's without Juventus buying him from Atletico.

Absolute joke and a prime example of how f-ed modern football at top level is.

Giroud showed he’s still a classy striker for France.

I remember his first international tourny - Euro 2012, also the first time I'd seen him play, just before his move to Arsenal. That being 9 years ago is insane to me.

5 more goals to tie Henry's record - I hope Deschamps gives him the opportunity to get there.
