Meanwhile in Slovakia

I haven't been paying enough attention to my former clubs.

Petrzalka hit rock bottom. The season after I left they ended last in Druha liga.

And after a season in the third tier they promoted but are now on their way down.

Either I overperformed or I left the team in a difficult situation.

So close...

3 games to go and unfortunately FH ends our chances at an undefeated season.

It's been a brilliant season none the less.

2029 Season Review - Valur

This has been one of the best seasons I've ever experienced in FM.

31 victories, 2 draws and 1 loss. 3 of 3 trophies.

I had my doubts about our 4-2-3-1 Narrow, but it really made our offensive players shine.

If it wasn't for that loss against FH we would have had an undefeated season in all competitions.

Competitions

League: Win! - Cup: Win! - Cup 2: Win!

Key players:

DC Juliusson - AMC IngvasonST Kristinsson

2030 Preview

It's time to follow up on the great season. Hopefully we can wualify for a Euro Leage group stage.

League changes

League Title, european qualification, 2 cups and a MOTY - Ultimate success. 6 switches in leagues

Leagues removed: Finland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland

Right down to earth

After a magnificent season and hopes of repeating we get right back down to earth as we loose the first competetive game of the season.

Bogey team

After destroying our perfect season last year FH knock us out of the Lengjubikarinn A.

We've met them 6 times since I took over and we've lost 4.

Champions League Draw & Al Fateh lurking

We're up against Ludogorets in the first round in the champions league. A tough matchup.

If we win we'll meet the champions from either Albania or Macedonia.

If we get past Ludogorets we could make it to the third round.

Saudi Arabian team Al Fateh are interested in 7 players from our team.

Let's see if I can keep them untill after the Champions League adventure.

Adding leagues

Some of the leagues I've added are not added come season rollover.

The leagues supposed to be added simply disappeared at the leagues page. I've 'lost' a year of the swedish and norway league.

Greece didn't add as well, so I've gone back 4 days to reload the season rollover and the league is now added.

I'll need to pay more attention to this going forward.

That means the ChL draw is slightly altered. We're up against Ludogorets but are up against Estonian or Slovakian opponents in the second round.

Struggles

We've really struggled in the new season.

We're 3rd in the league and 10 points behind league leaders Breidablik, despite not loosing a game yet.

In the cup we lost in the QF to KR

And after winning 1-0 in Bulgaria we struggle at home and end up in a penalty shootout. And we suck.

Let's hope we'll do well in the Conference League

Conference League

We bulldoze our way through the qualification to the conference league.

Our win in the deciding game against Latvian champions Ventspils was memorable..... 10-0!

I'm glad we have had that succes. Without it I'd be on the verge of a sacking. I still am, but a european adventure could save me.

2030 Season Review - Valur

Not the best season from us. The fixture congestion had it's impact, but we underperformed long before that became a problem.

Second season syndrome. We simply couldn't put games away.

In europe the group stage in the conference league stabilizes our finances.

League: 3rd - Cup: QF- Cup 2: SF - ChL: 1st qual - EC2: Grp - SC: Win!

Lets see how long we can make it in europe. If a top team in one of the higher leagues are available I'll probably jump ship.

Bandini resigns

With increasing pressure from the board Danilo Bandini has chosen to resign as a manager for Valur.

The team were in 10th place when I took over. I turned it around and won the treble in 2 years. People forget quickly!

A 1-1 Draw against Braga and 2-1 defeat against Basaksehir on a stoppage time goal was the final games.

Bandini will be looking for a new job.

MOL Fehervar FC - Hungarian NB I

2 months without a job before a team came for me.

Fehervar are a prestigious club. They ended up runner up in the UEFA cup in 1985.

They've won the championship 4 times, but only 1 time in the last 10 years. They are reigning cup champs.

I have trebled my wage, and our budgets are pretty good

Transfer: £5,4 million // Wage: £81K per week

And it's needed. I need to bring in some youth!

Revamping the squad

We need to bring some youth to the squad and we sign a bunch of young players and a veteran CB. All of them are expected to start.

DR Francisco Gonzalez - 18 years - Nacional (450K)

DC Alberto Dossena - 32 years - Avellino (130K)

MC Damir Gataric - 16 years - Crvena zvezda (825K)

MC Mirsad Aganovic - 16 years old - Partizan (800K)

These young guys look great

Dossena as in ex-Liverpool fullback Dossena? He’s now a DC ?

Players look pretty decent, though blurry as I have trouble seeing imgur pictures (not the only place this happens). Know how I can see them clearly using imgur?

2030/31 Season Review - Fehervar

11-3-3 was our record since I took over.

Our new signings played well. A bigger season review will be available next season.

Would have been something if it had of been that Dossena.

Hmm, must be looking at these using my phone.

Wait.... What??

omohpOC.jpg

Yep... That's us topping the table in the conference league.

We've been playing really well.

New signings AML Ronaldo Soto, MC Tim Van Assema and DC Camilo Restrepo have been incredible.

Now we need to focus on the league and on making contracts with those guys without release clauses!

We're currently 3 points after Ferencvaros in second.

The hunt for Ahmed Hassan

We've signed indonesian youngster Gian Faathier on a free transfer.

He's played 51 caps and he just turned 21 two months ago.

If he continues at this pace for 16 years he'll end up with a record for most international caps by any player.

Game 400

My game 400 in management was a big one.

After finishing 3rd in the league in pretty much no-mans land we managed to qualify for the final by beating Ferencvaros in the semis.

Mezökövesd awaited in the final

We played well but couldn't find the net. Untill Super-sub Durueke scored in extra time stoppage time!

That's trophy number 6!

2031/32 Season Review - Fehervar

A very good season from the lads.

A pretty average league campaign but we played well in europe and ended up winning the cup.

We've tied down all youngsters to £10 million release clauses... Except for Soto.

League: 3rd - Cup: Win! EC2: 2nd KO

Key players:

GK Maciu - MC Van Assema - AML Soto

Overview:

2032/33 Preview

So.. If we need to challenge Ferencvaros we need to find a proper goalscorer that can chip in with 20+ goals.

Let's go hunt!

European qualification + cup win means +2

I remove Iceland and Romania and add Switzerland and Croatia

Well... Not this time.

The vultures are circling

MC Gataric's 9 assists in 9 games have not gone unnoticed.

He's the first player to draw interest from the big leagues.

He has a release clause of £4,8 million

Serbian Superman

We needed a goalscorer to chip in with 20+ goals.

Counting all competitions our new serbian striker Ciric has done that in less than half a season.

We're currently 1st in a tight top of the league.

Champions!

With 5 games to go we are crowned champions of Hungary.

We knew with our early exit in the Conference league that we would have a good chance to compete for the championship.

We lost our first game of the season... And haven't lost since.

And have a chance to earn the Nereo Rocco Team stat special if we concede less than 4 goals the last 5 matches.

Now let's go get that ... and the cup!

2032/33 Season Review - Fehervar

Just like in Iceland, my second season was a pretty big success.

Even though we got knocked out early in europe we  played 36 matches without a loss on our way to the double.

I said we needed a 20+ goalscorer and Ciric scored 23 in the league and 38 in 38 in total.

We signed a bunch of young players, and are set up well for the future.

League: Win! - Cup: Win! EC2: 2nd Qual

Key players:

DC Mazinho - MC Gataric - AML Soto - ST Ciric

Overview:

SquadCompetitions - Finances - Transfers

2032/33 Preview

We've got a great young core on the team.

I hope we can reach the Group Stage of the champions League and hopefully create an upset or two.

Besides that a repeat championship would be nice.

League changes

Ultimate succes +6 (League + Cup win, MOTY, European Qual)

Leagues removed: Bulgaria, Sweden, Norway, Israel, Greece

Leagues added: Czech, Serbia, Denmark, Turkey, Ukraine

Getting close

An incredible journey so far with the highlight being an aggregate win over RB Salzburg.

We've already exceeded expectations and now only Shakthar is blocking our way. It'll be a tough test but we'll be up for it.

Deal / No Deal

We're might be loosing a lot of the players we couldn't get to renew their contract.

That meant they had still pretty low release clauses.

MC Aganovic (£4,8 million release) went to Sevilla for 4,5 + 50% next sale

Faathier and Soto could very well be next.

Not there yet

Shakthar are simply too much for us at this moment.

DalYymZ.jpg

Our performance still lands us a place in the group stages of the Europa League.

We land in a tough group with little chance of advancement. But 3rd should be possible!

What you’d hope to get to celebrate last seasons successes

Your looking like you’ve got an improving team. Only problem is the cherry-picking by the higher rep teams.

Next up Soto?

The interest in AML Soto has cooled down a bit.

He's still unhappy. But he might see the Europa League as a window of opportunity to get sold.

He does this in our debut in the Europa League

AnCsjg3.jpg

Yep... That's a surprise win for many!

Feherwho?

People around europe are beginning to notice our team.

After a win against Roma at home we travel to St. Petersburg and..... Enter Soto...

yi5hAQe.jpg

With this win we have a good shot at going through to the KO phase.

We've got two games against Bohemians next. If we win them we have 12 points. That should be enough.

We've been doing great. I might get a shot at a very good league once I leave!

Yep... Soto who's now scored 7 goals in our 3 europa league games have a release clause of only £3,3 million. Same with our striker Ciric who's on £4,2 million. The rest are mostly set to 10 million, but those two won't renew without lowering the clause.

Darko Ciric renews!

After discussing a new contract for roughly 1½ years we finally renew the contract of Ciric.

The new contract ups his release clause to £15 million from £4,2 million

We're a selling club

The board decides to cash in on Quintero and Henrique.

That means a healthy £7,2 million extra in the books. Potentially even 3 million more.

We invest in the infrastructure and we plan on expanding our training facilities for the second straight year.

We also upgrade the youth facilities.
