Where a handball leads to handcuffs - Crime Busters FC

We're a nothing club, the claim to fame being beating Enugu Rangers in the Enugu State Cup in 2018/19. Managed by the Police Force the aim will first off be promotion to Nigeria's 2nd tier.

We have just Nigeria loaded as playable with the rest of the top 10 ranked African leagues and the leagues with the most Nigerian players.

Everyone in the continent is loaded.

We are god awful.

This isn't a youth only challenge but the eventually aim will be to sell players to Europe, follow their progress and try and have a player break records for the Nigeria NT whilst we aim to become the best team in the country, and then the continent.

Here. We. Go.

2020/21 Pre-Season

Not the biggest range of competitors but Go Round are in the 2nd tier so it was good to scored 3 against them...less so that we conceded 4.

Our odds have improved!

I just signed anyone and everyone who was interested.

Our first match is in the Nigerian Academies Cup, which is an interesting one because I made the cup.  Every club in Nigeria enters but there is one rule, no-one over the age of 19 can play so it's the battle of the youth teams.

Well welcome back!!

Hopefully you don't get too stitched up like my board are doing to me with selling players!

I'm hoping we get bankrolled by one of those Nigerian Princes, I have my e-mails open!

Awww cheers Makoto. Yeah ToMexico is the innovator and I just duplicate.

Thank you for the kind words and good luck with your save.

No problem! Enjoy your Leeds sojourn, I look forward to reading more Ivory Coast though. :D

November 2020

What a manic start to the season! Just the one defeat (but we won on xG!) sees us top of the table with the most goals, most passes, and most possession, and just for @Jimbokav1971 Bernard Okoro is our goalkeeper and has already scored 6 goals this season! What's also unlike me is that none of these matches used instant result.

December 2020

We're beginning to slip up now with a couple of big losses and Gizallo have overtaken us in the league, although we did play the majority of our games away from home this month. We're still in both the Academy Cup and the Aiteo Cup and still face 3rd tier opposition in both so we should be able to progress.

I was just checking through the forum yesterday to see if I had missed one of your epic threads

Thanks both!

I'm back but I won't be as active as I was previously, just the odd update here and there. :)

February 2021

Another unbeaten month sees us through to the Academy Cup 5th Round where we'll be facing fellow 3rd tier side My People FC, they're better than us though, their form is 20-1-2 GF:56 GA:11. We're also through to the Aiteo Cup Quarter Final but that hasn't been drawn yet.

April 2021

What a month! Gizallo have slipped up in the league and we're briefly in top spot and three points clear but Gizallo still have the better goal difference. The big shock is that we managed to beat Sunshine Stars in the Academy Cup and now face Akwa Utd in our first ever final!
