shaunvamos
I don't know how we did it, but we got promoted! Managing to get revenge over Bray Wanderers was sweet too. But unless we recruit well for next season we'll be going straight back down. Bigshow1
Brilliant career so far. I can’t believe you maxed out facilities and youth coaching yet produced crap players every year. Does the league reputation effect this?

I would say the production of terrible players came because we had great players already in our team. But I'd say league reputation as well as other factors contributed to it as well.
shaunvamos
Preseason 2033 Couldn't have asked for a stronger preseason, except for the loss to TNS. Transfers (In) Went a bit crazy on bringing players in again, but I really think it was necessary if we want to stay up here. Quite a mixture of loans and free transfers, and we even found players from the British Isles that came through the youth system at Bosnian and Lithuanian clubs. Transfers (Out) Disappointed to have lost Wei Cui & academy product Chris Purdy, but it is what it is when you're a semi-pro club. Predicted last by a long shot, but I'm staying positive. shaunvamos
February 2033 I'm very happy with this start to the league. We don't look out of our depth and are defending quite well. If only someone other than Keegan could score!
shaunvamos
March 2033 The gulf in class became a bit more obvious here, but at least we beat Galway to stay clear of the drop for now.
shaunvamos
April 2033 A terrible month, things have got to change and fast. We aren't losing by much but a 0-1 and 0-4 scoreline both score no points.
shaunvamos
May 2033 We win our first game in what feels like forever, but we still have some ground to make up.
shaunvamos
June 2033 We close the gap with a win over Galway, which I think will be the only priority for our season. Transfers (In) A couple of strikers join us. I think Savage can be quite the player for us as well. Another excellent group.
shaunvamos
July 2033 Plenty of red there, but we manage to beat Bohemians and have now drawn level with Galway!
shaunvamos
August 2033 We only win cup games, but they are matches we definitely should've won. I think we need a miracle at this point.
abulezz
Jack Dowling reminds me of a youth prospect in my save called Ross McDonald - he had very similar stats coming out of the Youth Academy and ended up being a legend for the club.

shaunvamos
Relegated. We finished the season on a massive high, but it wasn't enough. Realistically we didn't belong in this division, and while I'm happy to stay with the team, I'll be actively looking for another job in Ireland. There are issues with Wexford that I don't think are fixable, like ridiculously low wages for staff members that sees me being able to hire no one, as well as being unable to compete with the pro clubs (which is basically everyone in this division). Best XI Andy Keegan - Darren Kelly - Kelvin Musonda Record Breakers Previously Managed Teams Zalgiris Vilnius: Won the league again and made the Champions League groups, but are unlikely to progress in a group containing Napoli, Marseille and Man United. I don't recognise the team anymore, the manager has sold everyone Progress
shaunvamos
Preseason 2034 We finish the preseason on a strong note with big win over top flight side Drogheda. Transfers A very quiet transfer window by my standards, but we are struggling financially. Both players we sign have played for us previously while on loan. Predicted to be in the running for promotion and I expect nothing less.
shaunvamos
February 2034 We opened our campaign with a complete dismantling of Longford and a good win over Shamrock reserves, before an entirely undeserved loss to Finn Harps brings us back to earth a little bit. shaunvamos
March 2034 Things finally seem to be going right for me at Wexford, but that's mainly to do with the goalscoring of Savage.
shaunvamos
April 2034 A near perfect month, including a great win over top division side Bohemians in the league cup. Savage continues to dominate the scoresheets, he's got 17 goals in 12 games so far.
shaunvamos
May 2034 UCD shock us, but we still have a strong lead in the league. A win over Shelbourne sees us into the last 4 of the league cup as well. Edited May 30, 2021 by shaunvamos
shaunvamos
June 2034 Another unbeaten month, and with 9 games to go we have a decent lead over the pack. Another good intake preview, which is important given our money issues.
shaunvamos
July 2034 Finn Harps ruin our best shot of going a month full of wins. 7 games to go and 5 points in front. Savage is an absolute machine, scoring 3 and assisting the other 2 goals in the win over Longford. Edited May 30, 2021 by shaunvamos

shaunvamos
2034 Youth Intake Another pretty deep intake, but there will be plenty of re-training.
shaunvamos
We won the league on the final day by the slimmest of margins, but we're back up to the top division. I didn't expect to be at Wexford for the whole year, but I might stick with them for a little longer now! Best XI Chris Savage - James McBride 2A* - Brian Keeley-Walshe Unsurprisingly, Savage was our best player by a long shot. It's good to see a youth product feature so early as McBride had a breakout season. I completely forgot that we added Mike Kelly to our team from Merthyr, as I bought him the previous season but couldn't join until he was 18. But he's going to be a great player for us too. Record Breakers Previously Managed Teams Zalgiris Vilnius: Won the league easily (again). Knocked out of the previous CL groups in last place (again). Qualified for the CL groups (again). Will probably be knocked out in last place (again). Progress
shaunvamos
Preseason 2035 A pretty strong preseason, especially that win over St Pats. Transfers Spent the preseason shoring up our defence, as well as some depth pieces. Bathers & McGrath are going to be immense for us this season. Our recruiting has put us above Drogheda in the predictions, and I'm pretty confident that we can finish above them.

shaunvamos
May 2035 Here it comes, we're starting to fall apart. At least we won in the cup, and we should finish above Drogheda.
shaunvamos
June 2035 Incredibly, we've had an unbeaten month! Bobby Mason really stepped up in Savage's place as he was playing for Wales in the U21 Euros. For the 5th season running, we have a positive preview. Having a good fullback is noteworthy too, as good WBs have been really hard to find.
shaunvamos
July 2035 Couple of close losses, but I'm not too disappointed. Transfers (In) Just the one player brought in as a backup to the backups. Transfers (Out)

shaunvamos
2035 Youth Intake I can see how it's an excellent intake in terms of potential, but it remains to be seen how many of these guys will make the cut.
shaunvamos
October 2035 I suppose the one consolation of losing pretty much every game in the league and dropping into a playoff spot is that we're into the cup final. The only problem is it's against Dundalk, who have had their most dominant season yet. I don't like our chances.

shaunvamos
We finish the league with a massive win over Waterford, before an unbelievably entertaining (but nerve-wracking) win over Dundalk in the cup sees us enter Europe for the first time ever! We then beat Sligo pretty handily to stay up. I'm pretty happy with what I've accomplished in the 5 seasons here, but it's only going to get better from here. Best XI Bobby Mason 3E* - Darren Kelly - Chris Savage Our team is really starting to take shape, and the emergence of the academy product Bobby Mason bodes well for our strike force, even if Savage will be leaving as he thinks he's too good for us (he's right). Hopefully I can go hunting for someone good in the transfer window, but he's been a major part of our success to this point. Overall we have a young core, and it will be interesting to see where we go from here. Record Breakers Previously Managed Teams Zalgiris Vilnius: Won the league, going unbeaten, were knocked out in the previous CL groups, and are on the way to finishing 4th in this current edition. The cycle repeats, I guess! Progress

shaunvamos
Preseason 2036 Just the 3 friendlies as we open our competitive season a little early with the super cup against Dundalk. Transfers No one really stands out here, just backup options. Montes came through the Sligo system before venturing into the Spanish 4th division for 7 seasons and Hunter arrives after being released by Derry City. Savage ended up joining Derry, so we'll have to deal with him at least 4 times this season. Predicted last again, but I'm confident we can finish higher. shaunvamos
February 2036 We have an amazing win over Dundalk to win the Super Cup (and our third cup win in about 6 months) before falling to them in our league opener. But we had a good win over Cork, so I'd call this a good start.
shaunvamos
March 2036 This was an excellent month capped by big wins against Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk! The only games we lost I put down to injuries and resting players, but Derry look like the team to beat right now.
