shaunvamos
We just couldn't deal with the fixture congestion, and I end my short tenure here on a low note domestically. At least they're in a good position for the Conference knockouts. shaunvamos
I've been unemployed for over a year now. Shortly after I resigned I received a few interviews at top division clubs, but was unsuccessful in each one. Now, I keep getting these messages: Strength of the candidates? How many candidates have the resume I have? 28 league titles, 29 domestic cups, a Europa League title, a Europa Conference League title, a Champions League final and 2 Conference League runners up? Something's not quite right here. I don't want to have to take a step down, but I might have to. Edited July 24, 2021 by shaunvamos
Pompeyboyz
Skenderbeu are Albanian aren't they? They should be pushing all others aside if you are applying I've only just started getting headhunted in my save and have just a 2nd League and national cup win to my name, plus I only have National B licence, so no idea why you shouldn't be getting offered jobs. Yes they are. I’ve gone on a spree of applications in all available countries (mostly top division) and I have had 3 interviews, my first in nearly a year. But I agree with what you say that my reputation speaks for itself at this point in game, given that the last season of management there was a Conference League final. shaunvamos
Chapter Five: Balkan My Resume Up Tuzla City are a club that are exceeding expectations this season, and are in good form to end the recent period of yo-yoing. The fact that they were doing so well prompted me to look at why the manager left, and he's gone to manage Slavija Sarajevo who sit 2 places above us. He'll soon realise he made the wrong decision. Tuzla have played in Europe before, the latest being 20 years ago after winning the cup. Of the three times they've participated in the Conference League, the best they've reached is the 4th qualifying round. This is FK Sarajevo's domain. Since this save commenced they have won 39 of the 40 possible league titles. Amazing! In recent times it seems the rest of the clubs have squabbled a bit for 2nd and 3rd, although it looks like Siroki Brijeg and Zrinjski are the teams to beat. Zeljeznicar are also a strong team from memory. Bosnian clubs in Europe have also been quite strong: Sarajevo of course has the most appearances by a long shot, including a Europa League final, but Zeljeznicar have also been pretty successful. As a result of this Bosnia's UEFA coefficient is 13th, which means I may not be here for very long either. It's a squad that is nowhere near as good as the one we had in Georgia, but that just means hat there's plenty of room for development. The bordering nations of Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia, all hotbeds of young talent, will be made playable. Hopefully we can pick up some cheap foreigners from those countries (we're allowed 7) or some 2nd nationality Bosnians. shaunvamos
Winter Break 2060/61 Just the two friendlies to get our new transfers cohesive. Transfers (In) We underwent a major overhaul personnel wise, and although they're mostly loan players we managed to buy some decent guys too, which I'll showcase here. Transfers (Out) These guys didn't look that great so I was more than happy to let them go.
shaunvamos
February 2061 Not a bad start to life here in Bosnia, with losses to only Siroki Brijeg and Sarajevo. Pretty happy we kept it close too, because we should be getting smashed by them.
shaunvamos
2061 Youth Intake This is a pretty strong opening intake, but here's a lot of retraining and fining to do to improve those personalities.

shaunvamos
April 2061 Another fairly poor month, but we had a great win against Zeljeznicar to finish the month off and all but guarantee our survival in the league.
shaunvamos
A pretty decent end to the season, we can definitely build on this. shaunvamos
Preseason 2061 Pretty strong preseason, especially against a team like Puskas Academica. Transfers (In) Lots of players in on loan again, and two good defensive buys in Mauron and Sabic. Todorovic and Mijatovic become my experiments at RWB and DM respectively, and a few other familiar faces return and will hopefully feature. I'll just show the players expected to be in the first team. Transfers (Out) Predicted to finish around where we were last season, but more expectations than the season before. shaunvamos
August 2061 An unbeaten start to the league, although we're yet to play any of the super strong teams at this point. Transfers (In) I had to bring in Adzem permanently as the way I structured the loan deal meant that we were losing 5M a month if we didn't play him. We didn't pay 1.1 up front, only about 40k. The rest will be paid in instalments over the next 3 years. It will definitely pay for itself in terms of saving is money, even if it's my fault I had to buy him in the first place. shaunvamos
September 2061 An expected big loss to Sarajevo, but we followed that up with a great win at Siroki Brijeg. If we can start turning those draws into wins we'll be up into the top 5. Transfers (Out) We lose our first intake prospect for compensation.
shaunvamos
October 2061 We drew with Sarajevo! Other than that we were pretty mixed in the league, but we haven't lost touch with the top 5 just yet.
shaunvamos
November 2061 An unbeaten month, and the huge win over Zrinjski put us into the top 5 for a split second. But we're in a great spot still.
shaunvamos
December 2061 Just the one game before we head into the winter break, and we're within touching distance of the top 5. I think our best route into Europe at this point is via the cup, but we could catch some form. This looks like a wide spread of talent, which we definitely need as our financial crisis worsens. We have now gone into administration, and it's all my fault.
shaunvamos
Winter Break 2061/62 Transfers (Out) I had no say in these transfers, as the administrators sold off whoever had offers. We weren't gutted that dramatically, only losing a starting striker in Sibinovic. Luckily, our debts have been restructured and I can now refuse transfers again. My poor financial management has been redeemed for now. Now it's time to pay these supporting creditors back with some good results on the pitch. shaunvamos
February 2062 A fantastic return to competitive games, with a second win over Siroki Brijeg, and a huge win over struggling Podrinje. shaunvamos
March 2062 With 8 games to go the elusive 5th place is within reach. We also have one foot in the cup final, so 5th place may not even be needed.
shaunvamos
April 2062 We had a chance to be 5th, but we choked against Slavija Sarajevo in our worst ever performance. shaunvamos
We beat Velez 3 times in 7 days and win the cup, putting us into the Europa League 3rd qualifying round for next season. shaunvamos
Preseason 2062 A pretty good preseason, capped off by a massive upset win over Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League, and we actually stand a chance of qualifying for the groups after a good first leg performance against Vllaznia. Even if we lose the away leg we'll be in the Conference League groups, injecting some much needed money into the account. Transfers (In) A couple of familiar faces return for us once more, but in all honesty it was quite hard to find talent of a similar level we had last year for prices that weren't ridiculous. That being said, Jevtic and Marusic (both retraining projects at CB and RWB) should prove to be great bargains. Transfers (Out) Predicted lower than we were last year, probably because of our inability to find the same calibre players.
shaunvamos
August 2062 We held Vllaznia away, and we're through to the group stages of the Europa League! We're also off to a flyer in the league. I'm not expecting too much from this group, maybe something from FH but we're just happy to be here. There's a few familiar faces here too, with Schifflange and Wexford joining us here, and an unfamiliar face in Scunthorpe United, a Championship side who won the FA Cup! Our first upgrades as a result of finally having some money to spend. Edited July 27, 2021 by shaunvamos
shaunvamos
September 2062 A pretty good start in the league, as we're 5th with some games in hand. A little disappointed we couldn't beat FH at home though.

shaunvamos
November 2062 We're still in a decent position, but we need to win our 3 games in hand. We've also qualified for the Conference League knockouts
shaunvamos
December 2062 We scored plenty of goals this month, and a strong finish in the Europa League. We get a favourable draw in the Conference League too, drawing Scotland's Queen's Park. Sarajevo still prove too strong, but they're head and shoulders above everybody. Plenty of players to like here it seems. We'll see what happens.
shaunvamos
February 2063 Nothing of note happened during the winter break, but we are off to an excellent start in the second half of the league, and have opened up a 9 point lead on the teams below. We're within touching distance of Zrinjski now, and could even catch 3rd and 2nd if results go our way over the course of the fixtures. We also have a decent result in the Conference League, but I expect us to be out after the second leg.
shaunvamos
2063 Youth Intake Well, this is some intake! We received 19 players this year, and I think this is due to us poaching 3 players from other clubs. The only poached player we're signing is 3I who came from TOSK, but it's still pretty cool to see. A surprisingly deep intake too, with a promising AM heading the class, but he'll be retrained as a Mezzala.
shaunvamos
March 2063 Predictable loss to Sarajevo, and we beat Queens Park away to advance to the last 16 of the Conference League! The fairytale was to end there though, as Venlo brushed us aside. We're still in 5th, and close to Zrinjski, and we're still in the cup, so European qualification is still on the cards. shaunvamos
April 2063 We got the most important win of the season against Zrinjski to open up a 4 point gap, and we're in an automatic European spot, which is important as we're now out of the cup. Sarajevo will more than likely win the cup, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
shaunvamos
We had a really tough end to the season, but we scraped through in 4th and a Conference League spot next season. shaunvamos
Preseason 2063 A very impressive preseason, as we collect friendly wins over teams from Greece, Turkey and Switzerland, and we've also progressed through to the last qualifying round of the Conference League where we play Portuguese side Farense. They're good, but I'll back the lads to do well. Transfers (In) Quite busy again, and we're slowly beginning to rely less on loan players. Again there's a bit of retraining to do here (particularly Harambasic and Sarcevic), but the attribute profile is what matters to me. Hopefully those players we spent money on become real bargains too. Predicted 7th. The expectations begin to rise.
shaunvamos
August 2063 A decent start in the league, and we scraped through on away goals to qualify for the Conference League. This is a pretty tough group. Dundalk will probably be too strong for us, and Tirana and Danzig probably will be too. It looks like there were no easy 4th seeded teams anyway though, so we'll see what happens. Transfers (Out) Milan was rated as promising a couple of seasons ago and was wanted by some big clubs like Napoli, but he didn't end up developing that well and I'm more than happy for Slavija to overpay for him. shaunvamos
September 2063 We're dropping games to teams traditionally better than us, which we've got to turn around if we want to start challenging for the top 3. shaunvamos
October 2063 We've been a little disappointing in the league, but if we win all of our games in hand we'll be around 4th. Dundalk proved to be too strong as I predicted.
shaunvamos
November 2063 Frustratingly inconsistent in the league, and we have our work cut out for us now.
