Croatian Cup Final

We play Osijek in the final. Unfortunately the Gold Cup started on the 19th may meaning we have 7 players away on international duty of which 4 or potentially 5 would probably be starting!

image.thumb.png.a43c047fe31f3aee0fbe3bfb580990d3.png

In the end it didn't matter. Our main man Fisher grabbed a double and we won!

End Of Season

Just realising I didn't do any transfer updates so you havent seen all my Americans yet! After the summer transfer window I will do a squad review!

Results

image.thumb.png.c2ae4d56df818059c69543238af9cad3.png

A fantastic 2nd half to the season for us were we were unbeaten for the last 12 games winning 10! I think all the summer signings finally started to gel and we played really well!

League Table

image.png.bf99cfd048722d5e1765241866f6e80b.png

We ended up snatching 2nd place and a place in Euro Cup II! A great first season in the top flight.

Croatian Cup

image.thumb.png.7ad1bdc162608d5edc9a91a8972e92e2.png

One of the kindest cup runs you could ask for. 3 Second Division sides then a home tie against a struggling top tier side. The final we managed to avoid the 2 big clubs in Dinamo and Rijeka and were comfortable winners!

Player Review - Vanja Pelko

image.thumb.png.6d8d2606ea4a765b6a07e179025e6918.png

Getting older now but the Croatian really did play well this season. His game time dropped down but 13 goals in 20 games is a great return!

Player Of The Season - Andy Valenzuela

image.thumb.png.db72cbdee020bb585f6e0c5bcb44a827.png

One of the free transfers I got from America (for those who dont do it I highly recommend adding the league in and looking at the youth international sides i.e USA u19's, u21's etc for some players who are on amateur or part time contracts. He is our highest valued player and scored 21 goals and provided 7 assists this season!

Young Player Of The Season - Matias Martinez

image.thumb.png.8695d72d35981548053b8d4aa684459b.png

Another of our free transfer signings. He doesn't quite have the technicals or mentals to become a big player but his physicals and dribbling/passing/technique have meant he was a very good player for us this season scoring 16 goals and providing 9 assists!

Goalkeeper Watch

Paradiz scored 4 goals in 27 games whilst former number 1 Svrznjak scored an impressive 5 goals in 14 games!

Fisher making big things happen!

Yeah as I mentioned just now in my end of season update I have really took advantage of having the American leagues loaded. They always get a number of good players into their u19. u21 National sides who are on amateur contracts and you can steal. The below is a list of the ones currently in my first team!

Adam Fisher

Andy Valenzuela

Randy Hunt

Gary Lovejoy

Jordan Zewe

Lionel Leclerc

Luke Higgins

All useful players but Fisher is definitely the crown jewel in that lot.

I would definitely agree although Valenzuela has been very good also. Bringing another 4 or 5 in this summer as well but will need to loan a few out as we have a maximum of 6 foreign players in a match day squad!

Also about to lose Spudic who is by far our biggest homegrown talent. 2.2m is big as we have been losing a lot of money but it leaves a gaping hole at the back were we are weakest. He is immediately put up for loan so will try and get him back for a season!

Euro Cup II

image.thumb.png.d744f8dc7dc52d99b2c479c207e5c15a.png

Unfortunately they were more clinical than us. We were actually the better team for large periods of the 2 legs but ultimately couldn't put the ball in the net! The Euro dream is over for this season!

Transfers

Out

image.png.77dcc0ac48d199956a73939f3c9c70a8.png

We managed to clear our debts with this summers transfers out. Spudic was a big loss but we managed to get him back on loan for the season. The other first team loss was Pelko who was about to turn 32 so 400k was a great offer for him. Almiron was another striker who did get game time last year but with the foreign rule limit we sold him for 100k. The others were bit part players and we managed to get another few hundred thousand between these.

In

I will show the players we brought in permanently. We got Spudic back on loan as well as getting Kreso and Harambasic back for another season.

Dino Matic

Signed to replace the outgoing Svrznjak he and Paradiz will share the number 1 spot this season!

Caleb Coleman

Another American I have signed. I loaned him immediately back out for game time and development.

Kilian Lebourg

Another American but this time I targeted some dual nationalities to get round the foreign player limit. He has French as a 2nd nationality and will get game time on the right hand side this season.

Salvatorre Gobbi

Another with dual nationality (Italian). The plan was to loan him back out but we are short at centre back so he is there as backup currently.

Sam Hubbard

I like the look of Hubbard. I think his mental stats lead him to play as our deep lying midfielder rather than further forward.

Leonardo Gonzalez

Another with dual nationality (Spain). He comes in in a position we have 3 good players but I am training one of them to play at right full back instead due to our lack of depth there. Big potential I believe!

Marcos Fonseca

Our final dual nationality (Spanish again) is another centre back who can also play full back. A really good player to have on board.

Patrik Nikolic

The only player we spent money on. A whole 27k to bring him in from Czechia. Really good finishing and will mainly partner Valenzuela up top this season!

Pedro Gordon

Our last signing was a Spanish winger on a free. Solid stats and 5 star potential means he could become a very useful player.

Mid-Season Review

Results

image.thumb.png.85684fdfdf9eb2fb5f3841bd580e8d89.png

Another really good half of a season where apart from a Dinamo battering and going down to 9 men away at Belupo we have been very good! Scoring a lot of goals!

League Table

image.png.919b4446aeb33944bedd126c9db139e6.png

Dinamo sit top due to their better head to head record with us. They have lost more times in this half of the season than they did in the whole of last season! To show you what we are up against they spend a total of 44m in the summer compared to 27k for us!

Croatian Cup

image.thumb.png.44b0ae33c2194d910b1e04271620cf9e.png

There will be no fairytale in the cup this season. A load of suspensions meant we really struggled at the back and despite scoring 4 times we were knocked out 6-4 by Hadjuk.

Euro Cup II

image.thumb.png.e20034fd25909e016f23198dd7cfdd1d.png

As mentioned earlier my old club Altach were just too clinical for us over 2 legs and there will be no European group stages this season!

Player Review - Luke Higgins

image.thumb.png.723e9e7b5ad36ec0ada30c0f2626764b.png

One of our American kids signed lat season. Higgins is really developing well and is now comfortable on the right side were I have been training him and where he is utilised most. 4 assists and 1 goal this season in 20 games is great for a full back!

Goalkeeper Watch

Matic has 2 goals in 6 games and Paradiz has 1 goal in 16 games!

Youth Review

image.png.1e2358798e948bcd2ea2f86d4ce86bfc.png

Not expecting too much here although I could do with some homegrown in nation players. Might have to call up some of our previous youth batches!

image.thumb.png.4d8e3ec9ad347e3e0fd83a275d0f89b3.png

Some big bids coming in for Fisher now. The money would really help but I think he's vital if we want to overturn Dinamo any time soon. Have managed to reject for now!

End Of Season

Results

image.thumb.png.1e9d9d0d5ceffb001465b59bad6653a0.png

A poor run from the middle to the end of February cost us any chance of mounting a title chance. We recovered somewhat but injuries and suspensions starter to take their toll. Another very good season however!

League Table

image.png.2a6a6250d3e937f99576abe6008a55aa.png

Dinamo recovered from a poor (in their standards first half of the season) to romp away with the title. We managed to finish 2nd and get another Euro Cup II spot! It will be tough to overturn this lot!

Croatian Cup

image.thumb.png.a74d55d4b46326fece83510c6f30a69f.png

A poor showing this season after winning it last season!

Euro Cup II

image.thumb.png.9edb819b0a03a7b822dfd2d373cca45a.png

Probably the worst team in terms of quality we could have drawn! We played well but just couldn't put the ball in the net!

Player Review - Mateo Romic

image.thumb.png.b91c6a9f8985f9e09b9b2cd626fafd63.png

Romic has really developed into a great first team player this season. Netting 15 goals from 18 (15) and also grabbing 6 assists. Really useful as he is homegrown at the club!

Player Of The Season - Andy Valenzuela

image.thumb.png.4002ef24242e6a7c7b662839fb553c48.png

Our main man again this year in terms of finding the net. I am amazed he hasn't been called up to the full USA squad yet! 21 goals in 29 (3) as well as 6 assists.

Young Player Of The Season - Lionel Leclerc

image.thumb.png.4d026d5cd22934984de272e21e94ce57.png

Another of the Americans to really flourish and develop this season. Some really get CA development as well as putting in very good performances. 6 goals and 6 assists in 12 (6) is an amazing return. An injury setback stopped him from getting more game time.

Goalkeeper Watch

Paradiz scored 3 goals in 29 games whilst Matic scored 3 goals in 12 games.

Overview

image.thumb.png.b39c45b598cebf4a2e30dab9f19cde43.png

Thoughts

We are really progressing well as a team and some of the younger players (especially the Americans) have come in and really started to develop. The issue we currently have is we only have 7 players in our first team who fall into the home grown at a Croatian club category and we need 6 of them in a match day squad. Getting those in is tough as we have no transfer budget really to find the type of player required that could be part of our squad. We have some youth players who can be a part of the first team squad on the bench but they aren't at the level yet where they could really contribute. With Dinamo spending 91m this season it will be very difficult to get ahead of them unless we could make some money somehow!

Euro Cup II Qualifiers

image.thumb.png.c025cc6ffe6f784329a4dbd721bd0c42.png

Slavia Prague where one of the more difficult ties in the 2nd qualifying round but a big home win meant we hung on in the away tie. Zlate Moravce were definitely a kinder draw. We were comfortably the better team in both legs! We then drew Scottish side Hits and beat them in a thrilling tie. A 4-3 win away from home followed up by a 2-3 defeat at home meant we snuck through to the group stages on away goals!

Group Stage

image.thumb.png.caaac7b03c4591ac786a8eb8502413d1.png

Forgot to take a screenshot prior to playing a match but in terms of a Euro Cup II group it's one of the worst we could have had. We have managed a great away draw in Braga to start us off though!

Transfers

Out

image.png.8c6d3d1a526eb319fbad4d0002fed972.png

Hubbard we lost as his release fee was met and will be a big miss. We also lost one of our 2 first team goalkeepers in Paradiz for 425k . Other than that Bernard, Tokic and Jimenez was the other players to have gotten first team games in the past but were no longer needed. The others were all young players who weren't going to get near our first team. Outside of the above we have 8 loans who have went out including some of the youngsters we brought in this summer.

image.png.aa33549611068f9f63c9361597679bc0.png

In

With having next to know money again it was down to me raiding America again for some youngsters as well as bringing both Spudic and Harambasic back on loan for another season as well as another Dinamo player in Fintic.

Loans

Viktor Spudic

Sanjin Harambasic

Damir Fintic

All 3 of the above will play a vital role this season. All of them also trained in Croatia so handy for those numbers.

Transfers

Gilberto Sanchez

Cesar Rodriguez

Conor Turner

Fabian Corvalan

Cesar Mejia

From the above Sanchez, Turner and Mejia were all loaned back out for development. Rodriguez is now our backup left back after Jimenez had left. Corvalan is the only non American permanent signing we made and is our new number 1 keeper after coming in on a free.

Mid-Season Review

Results

image.thumb.png.d5e2fc571822cb4f2a99ec4aed8c5d5d.png

We started off quite poorly losing 3 of the first 6 games in the league. We then went on an amazing 8 game win streak before we lost the last game before the break.

League Table

image.png.cba8ee0ba808f940fd3a9108d3a547bf.png

We have 3 games in hand over the 3 teams above us and are 4pts behind Rijeka at the top. This could be a good title challenge!

Croatian Cup

image.thumb.png.df3641ee87acd14e7ca94f4ac9c0e413.png

A much better season in the Croatian Cup thus far as we have made it into the semi finals. The draw is still to be made but Rijeka, Dinamo and Gorica are the other 3!

Euro Cup II

image.thumb.png.68e5c07ba8360a69160ff35f3532e942.png

Well after worrying about a tough group we ended up being outstanding in the group stages. It turns out Shakhtar are not the team they used to be! Unbeaten and winning 4 times.

image.thumb.png.dd712b3cf701f90a9c6a1da71f24258c.png

We ended up topping the group!

Player Review - Leonardo Gonzalez

image.thumb.png.6183a5be9a409d4af1290c88f8d22f77.png

Our new left back now that Higgins has moved acrosss to right back. He has been developing very well and has 1 goal and 1 assist so far this season!

Goalkeeper Watch

Corvalan is yet to score for us whilst Matic has 1 goal thus far.

Youth Intake Preview

image.png.9033a81a701fd11bd79851019bda2f3e.png

Potential golden generation is nice to see. I have called up 2 youth players to our first team squad this year.

Leon Egri (YP33A)

Valentino Petric (YP33C)

Both players have had game time this season and both have actually scored. Petric the centre half actually has 2 goals in 6 games and Egri the forward only has 1 in 5 but both are developing well and again it helps with the home grown numbers!

January Transfers

image.png.5d146c9c257c82c7c96d9323d05b5bb4.png

An already agreed American signing and a young Croatian player brought in on a free.

Abraham Harper

He will be utilised in the first team as a backup winger. Solid CA already which is great!

Ante Sindik

One for the future and will be handy as he has home grown status. Could be very useful in a couple of seasons.

Euro Cup II 2nd Knockout Stage

image.thumb.png.5700c1e4e435238a1b2a2d0609cbffb4.png

Very very tight games here. Ultimately a 91st minute goal in the away leg from Nikolic proved the difference!

Draw

image.thumb.png.09ee5f475ba5c80c33f5b8de227474b1.png

The kindest possible quarter final draw against Irish side Shamrock Rovers. I fancy us to get past them then a much harder tie against Gijon or Atalanta!

League Table

It was enough. We finished 10 points clear of Dinamo to complete Croatia!

Croatian Cup

image.thumb.png.088fab1af6a7e6abfbe9d38989fabba9.png

We won the double. It was a tough run to the final having to beat 4 top tier sides including big rivals Dinamo in the semi finals and the other big team in the league Rijeka in the final! A domestic double!

Euro Cup II

image.thumb.png.02fba24394060dce086d0125018b57fe.png

We had an amazing run here making the semi finals before a first leg horror show meant thats where it ended!

Player Review - Kilian Lebourg

image.thumb.png.1843f1c04a935bcd00de3e1aea183fe2.png

Lebourg really has developed this season and even played in the holding position quite a bit this season! Wont be long before a full American cap comes around. 5 goals and 9 assists this Eason is a great return!

Player Of The Season - Andy Valenzuela

image.thumb.png.6896214f1c0fd186c2fe17d5b079f64e.png

I tried to look our for another candidate but this man was on fire this season, scoring 34 times and assisting 16. How he hasn't been capped at any higher than u20 level is beyond me!

Young Player Of The Season - Mateo Romic

image.thumb.png.e9b2d8536e25f3666c29f490f13b49bd.png

Romic really was a great support to Valenzuela this season. He scored 27 goals in 25 (18) and provided 5 assists showing really progress in his numbers. Still has more developing to do but could be a big player for them after I leave!

Goalkeeper Watch

Matic scored 1 goal in 15 games and Corvalan scored 3 goals in 44 games!

Mid Season Review

I know I forgot to do transfers but we signed 26 players (not all for the first team) and let go of 18 so we have a massive change but upgrade to the squad.

Results

image.thumb.png.e20c65ef877e00e854c5bb4df01d77b3.png

With those massive upgrades we became favourites for the league and its shown. We have been fantastic thus far with 1 man really standing out is Bazzano. He is hammering them in this season!

League Table

image.thumb.png.90db8797bc5fcd30cd046d291760aa80.png

6pts clear halfway through the season. Lets hope we can keep it up!

Czech Cup

image.thumb.png.cb97f3eb9876f88f3d8bcbb53e67f717.png

A couple of big wins over lower league opposition before we drew one of the big boys. We actually played a lot better than the scoreline shows!

Player Review - Enzo Bazzano

image.thumb.png.6e37cda6df592c4f5e4a728252efc86b.png

What a finding this was by my scouts. Released by Velez he is Argentinian and Italian! Already at 4.5 star ability and he has 18 goals in 17 starts. Long may it continue!

Goalkeeper Watch

Calosci has 3 goals in 17 starts and Jimenez is yet to get off the mark in 2 games!

Tienen - Former Players

I know the @abulezzloves to reflect so I think its time I have a look at my time in Belgium and see if any of my former players became anything big! I managed them from 2025 to 2029 so will have a look through and see where any of the big players ended up!

Cisse Geudens

One of my earlier signings at the club he left Tienen after 7 years to join Sampdoria for 13m. Unfortunately hasn't added any additional trophies since!

Yann Ngah

Another of the free transfers from Belgian clubs we brought in. He left in my last season at Tienen and went to Atlanta for 16.25m. After just a season he went to Werder Bremen were he spent 3 seasons before joining Bayer for 23m.  He was a winner of the Euro u21 competition with Belgium in 2029!

Ngai Chi Wing

Loved this signing. 400k from Ligue 2. He stayed with Tienen for 7 years before this season joining Juve for 13.75m. He is also a winner of the Euro u21 competition in 2033!

Gabriel Vinatoru

This man pretty much helped me finish Belgium! Banging goals in for fun and the great news is he is still at the club! Valued at nearly 25m he is now the clubs all time leading goalscorer!

Wilfried Njoh

Vinatoru's partner in crime. This man was a beast. In the 3 seasons I was there he scored 100 goals for the club. He has struggled since but nice to see him still at the club! He has a fantastic international record of 44 goals in 72 games as well!

Benjamin Petek

I would class this as our first superstar! I remember having 2 fantastic left back prospects (the next will appear down the list). Signed from Slovenian club Celje for just 175k he spent 4 seasons at Tienen before moving to Schalke for 40m. He has spent the last 6 years there where has won the German cup.

Joel Glele

Probably the best player out of the bunch. We spent 3.6m on him at the time which was a lot of money for us. He spent 4 years at the club before moving to Juve for 32.5m were he has been ever since. He has won the Italian cup twice and the Serie A! He also has 31 goals in 55 international games for France!

Pablo

Just the 2 seasons with Tienen before heading back to Spain to join big boys Barca for 24.5m. He has been there ever since where has has won 1 La Liga, 2 Spanish Cups and a Champions League!

Dejan Vasiljevic

Here is the 2nd left back! He spent 6 seasons with Tienen after joining from Red Star before moving on to Newcastle for nearly 18m. He was unfortunately relegated in his first season there but did however win the World Cup with Serbia in 2034! Wanted by Milan and Real Madrid he may not be playing in the Championship for long!

Andre Martins

Joined from Brazil at a young age he spent 7 seasons with Tienen before joining Stuttgart for 43m!

Mohamed Diop

Signed for 4.3m from Inter he spent the next 6 seasons with Tienen before moving to his old rivals Milan for 35.5m!

Luiz Felipe

Another young Brazilian we brought in for just over 1.1m. He spent 5 seasons with Tienen before moving back to Brazil to join CEC (I havent got the name fixes) for 74m!! He spent 3 seasons back in his homeland before joining Wolves for 45.5m! He won the state championships 3 times on the bounce in Brazil!

This was AWESOME! I love updates like this. You definitely have some winners here.

End Of Season

Results

We had another great half of the season and only actually lost after we had already wrapped the league up and I rotated quite a bit.

League Table

image.thumb.png.a9a340b17091eb9c315cc0174c88ff63.png

We ended up 7pts clear at the top and were fairly comfortable throughout.

Czech Cup

image.thumb.png.cd7f0491f19e16e728a145274054555e.png

Wasn't the priority this season!

Player Review - Jack Amankwa

image.thumb.png.8e08bc28eb3676d6df5e387111d78582.png

Amankwa was one of there Americans I brought in. Needs to work on his technicals but love those mentals and physicals for that deep lying role.

Player Of The Season - Hugo Neves

image.thumb.png.861c0d2a03b6670888fb0ec56c224887.png

Bazzano probably deserved both but I gave it to Neves who has been fantastic. A free transfer in the summer he scored 6 goals and got 8 assists in only 19 games before injury hampered him.

Young Player Of The Season - Enzo Bazzano

image.thumb.png.74b2605257cbb63ef3d05da815c40854.png

Bazzano ended up as the player of the year in the league and top goalscorer. He ended up with 23 goals in 31 games as he went through a bit of a drought in the early part of the 2nd half of the season.

Goalkeeper Watch

Calosci ended up with 5 goals this season. Jimenez only played 2 games and hasn't opened his scoring yet!

Yikes - the dreaded FM early season drought.

It has got much better since, think a lot of transfers again this summer affected cohesion but they seem to be clicking much better now plus Bazzano and my newest American boy Pope have started to bang calls in!

Mid-Season Review

Results

image.thumb.png.77204c678d429ec7f715bf0e2b2866bd.png

It was a tough first few months in the division as we only won 1 of our first 11 games. However a purple patch where we won 5 in a row propelled us up the table. We have slipped somewhat since but consolidation is what we are looking this year.

League Table

image.thumb.png.544162f81c30e0124795f81a7830a6c7.png

We sit comfortably mid table halfway through the season. We are playing well and creating chances. The squad is relatively young so is getting good development as well and whilst a bit behind the bigger teams we can get there if we keep pushing like this.

Czech Cup

image.thumb.png.76f651d5a384bfb1ae30e01c4f1cd8fb.png

Comfortably through the first 2 rounds against lower league opposition. We were much the better side against Teplice but we were missing both Bazzano and Pope so were a bit poor in front of goal!

Player Review - Jordan Pope

image.thumb.png.963adb39d874791209a8ae43aac0488f.png

One of my American findings. He has settled quickly and started to develop quickly. Playing up front as well as in the role just in behind he has notched 12 goals and 9 assists in 15 games!

Goalkeeper Watch

Kontek has 3 goals this season so far!

Youth Intake

image.png.764852279afa2645e6486743f80e9476.png

Not expecting anything here so anything is a bonus!

End Of Season

A great 2nd half of the season was finished off by beating the top 2 in the last 2 games of the season! Promising signs!

League Table

image.thumb.png.19d06d4a77a73e79732a2d1a853ef487.png

We managed to finish in the Championship Group and finished 5th in our first season!

Czech Cup

image.thumb.png.f519d5f95cdb70d87e3bda28af77920c.png

Not really the priority this season but could push for it next season!

Player Review - Joel Curtain

image.thumb.png.ef81b16c4ed5b312a4b98c1fac7cc49e.png

Another American signed in January scored 6 goals in 8 games! Big prospect!

Player Of The Season - Jordon Pope

image.thumb.png.1143a86286cf9ad71bf7da4e18599450.png

Pope was simply fantastic. scoring 17 goals and getting 16 assists this season!

Young Player Of The Season - Enzo Bazzano

image.thumb.png.79163ee9993e8e74ad9f243dc6ec2458.png

The top goalscorer in the league. He scored 25 goals in total and has been simply fantastic!

Goalkeeper Watch

Kontek scored 8 goals this season!

Squad Review

Conscious I missed a transfer window last season so I decided I would just do a squad review for this season. A lot of players have went out on loan or been sold so its a big change!

Goalkeepers

Luis Eduardo Martinez

Lautaro Ibanez

Both free transfer signings this summer. Martinez will be our starting keeper with Ibanez a more than handy understudy.

Right Backs

Gary Farrell

Darren Declute

The first of many Americans in the squad! Farrell is our started whilst Declute was brought in this summer to be a backup.

Left Backs

Peter Garba

Vit Dostalek

Dostalek was our starter lat season but free transfer signing Garba is a better option now.

Centre Backs

Jordan Ball

Jacob Kristoffersen

Jean-Jacques Smarth

Callum Ruiz

Who wants more Americans? This is probably our weakest area in terms of current ability but we do have some potential here. Ball and Kristoffersen are the starters. With the latter looking very promising. Both Smarth and Ruiz are understudies and will get game time where they can.

Def. Midfield

Jack Amankwa

Loic Beernaert

We have 2 real options here. Amankwa is the more disciplined defensive midfielders whereas Beernaert is the more deep lying playmaker type.

Att. Midfield

Acoran Rivas

Jordan Pope

Both these players are probably more accustomed to be playing up front but Pope has been playing fantastically here after dropping back. Rivas will be his deputy!

Right Wing

Ondrej Bocek

Rodolfo Rogger

Junior Maurin

2 new signings in this area have moved Maurin down to 3rd choice. Bocek and Rogger will share responsibility this season mainly.

Left Wing

Phil Duvernay

Francesco Cavalieri

Alek Valentine

I am currently starting Duvernay at left wing with the other 2 being backups. We also have some right sided players who can also play on the left who are better suited.

Striker

Martin Cermak

Enzo Bazzano

Guido Santillan

I think this is our strongest area especially when you include Pope as well. Cermak is a good loan signing and will get goal for us. Bazzano and Santillan are both quality strikers and I am expecting them to get a lot of goals this season!

Mid-Season Review

Results

image.thumb.png.ec95b459c790ff4907d90bfbdb324837.png

We have been fantastic thus far. The summer signings have really pushed us up a level. We could win it this year if our big players stay injury free.

League Table

image.thumb.png.d6d7797514feabee91ff43b03eadb79e.png

We sit 7 points clear of Plzen in 2nd. If we keep this up we could win the league this year. We are scoring a lot of goals which is nice to see and is vital!

Czech Cup

image.thumb.png.23c017dfcfe93ad7d529206bff1c8a59.png

We are into the Quarter Final of the Czech FA Cup for the first time. It took extra time in third round to get past lower league opposition before we hit 7 past Zlin. We have Boleslav in the quarters who sit 8th in our league.

Player Review - Jacob Kristoffersen

image.thumb.png.504877a93f27c466d748c87f4cc6dee7.png

He is progressing very quickly now he is getting a lot of game time. I do think he could be one of the big players from this squad when I do a review of the transfers down the line.

Goalkeeper Watch

Martinez has 3 goals in 18 games and Ibanez has 1 goal in 3 games thus far.

Youth Intake Preview

image.png.65a97c3ba35c366e4d62aadccbe55d2c.png

Additional Transfers

Stanley Schmolz

Connor Swann

2 additional players were brought in after the squad review before the transfer deadline. Schmolz is the new holding midfielder. He is better quality than anything we have at the club and Swann has come in as we only had 3 strikers (with Pope playing in AMC). He is good quality and will get us goals.

Swann has pretty much missed the whole of this season since he has joined with injury. What a way to announce yourself to the fans! A hat trick in the cup semi final!

End Of Season

Results

image.thumb.png.c304ec55b7c9904bb69d2b9610aa31b9.png

We struggled near the end of the season after holding a 7pt lead halfway through the season. Was the lead enough to see us over the line?

League Table

image.thumb.png.394848186f315f90f7784a61dd6d1b1b.png

Just! We only won 2 of our last 5 games but Slavia drew their last 2 to hand us the title!

Czech Cup

image.thumb.png.ddabe33c046d668dd7d7e9116a68431f.png

It was an easy enough run bar the semi final. We managed to miss out on any of the so called bigger teams and the final was pretty much done and dusted after 32mins!

Player Review - Loic Beernaert

image.thumb.png.0c29587be06b93024a418ba61397d2fc.png

One of the summer signings from America. He was more of a backup player but performed very well when called upon scoring 5 goals and getting 7 assists in 12 (12) appearances.

Player Of The Season - Jordan Pope

image.thumb.png.b588ee422127b37ca192912b14477a5e.png

For the 2nd year in a row Pope picks up player of the season. Having dropped back to play the AMC role rather than striker his numbers dropped in terms of goals but he didn't half make up for it in assists. He scored 12 goals and got a very impressive 24 assists with an average rating of 7.6!

Young Player Of The Season - Guido Santillan

image.thumb.png.40034c82a15b43a87b0c013f8265f0bf.png

It was between Santillan and Bazzano for young player of the season and I leaned towards Santillan as he was only new to the squad and settled very quickly. He scored 22 goals in 31 games and registered 9 assists as well!

Goalkeeper Watch

Martinez scored 6 goals and got 1 assist this season including a free kick scored in the cup final! Ibanez scored 1 goal!
