How do you do the "none teamtalk" like in the past?

Recommended Posts

In the past you used to be able to use none for the overall teamtalk , then individually address the players. But I find this option missing from the new interface. But yet when I check the AI's teamtalk they seem to be able to do so. Am I missing anything? How do you do teamtalk like the AI like below?

At the top of the main panel, that lists all your choices of comments, is a bar that says, team, defenders, midfield, attackers or individuals. Click individuals and then on each player is a little tick box. Tick it for the player/s you want, and talk to them.

Yes but there is no " I have nothing to say to you" option for the overall team talk like in the past.  You can't talk individually to players before giving a main address. And in the past there used to be an option of saying nothing to individuals which was useful for negating bad responses. No idea why they removed this option in 2021.

I’m confused. When you get into the dressing room, hit finish team talk. That effectively is the “nothing to say to you button”. Then you can talk to individuals. I often give a chat, realise I’ve demotivated a few of them, hit end meeting, and then go and talk to the demotivated players individually to try and motivate them.

I'm sorry but where is the "finish team talk" option that you speak of ? I can't find it. There is only a kick off button which skips the team talk completely without being able to speak to players individually.

This is before kick off!? I was presuming you were talking about half time.

Ignore me.

Well this is annoying. All that trouble and time wasted. Even at half time there is no "end team talk" option. Pardon me for asking but are you sure you are even playing 2021? I hope you aren't trolling for the sake of it.

Nope. Just an honest mistake. Thinking about it, I always give a team talk, which is probably why I have the option of “finish team talk”. Without talking to them, I guess you don’t have that option.

Like I said, ignore me. Was just trying to help. Perhaps someone else can advise you. Perhaps what you’re looking for just doesn’t exist anymore.

Raise it as a feature request.

Good luck.
