So this will be the 8th sign up in the series and this time we will be heading south to Africa.It will be played on FM21 without any extra add ons.

A newcomer to the series and Affo has been put with Group K side Tunisia. His side are sat in second place with 4pts out of a possible six. His side will be facing Sudan, Niger and Salkster2102's Burkina Faso

Bagpuss (Egypt)

Al-Firaeina (The Paraohs)

Bagpuss's side are top of group D with 6pts out of six and face and pretty easy group with Cape Verde, Lesotho and Madagascar

BenArsenal (Senegal)

Les Lions de la Teranga (The Lions of Teranga)

BenArsenal's side are currently top of Grp A in the African Cup of Nations qualifying along side DR Congo, Togo and Zimbabwe who are managed by CFuller. His side has played twice already and won both games

Celtic_1967 (Algeria)

El Khadra (The Greens)

The original winner of this series has been handed the reigns of the Algerian side. His side are sat top of table after winning and drawing the first two games of the competition. The other sides in the group are Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Neilhoskins South Africa

CFuller (Zimbabwe)

CFuller's side are currently bottom of Group A in the ACN qualifying having lost both of their opening fixtures, hopefully he can turn things round for his side. His group has BenArsenal's Senegal, DR Congo and Togo

Dalbeider's side are in group C of the ANC and are sitting top with a 100% record. The group contains Gabon, Eq.Guinea and Mauritania

Drogba unlike his namesake will be looking after Morocco who currently sit in second place of group F with a 100% record. The group contains Guinea-Bissau, Comoros and WLKRAS's Guinea.

EvilDave's side are sitting in second place on goal difference after winning the opening two games. The group contains Mauritius, Central African Rep and Sherm's Mali

Gavrenwick (Nigeria)

Gavrenwick's side are in Grp B of the ANC with markwilson27's Ivory Coast, Swaziland and Namibia. His side are top of the table after winning their opening two games

I'm happy with a fairly hipster selection in Angola, I'm even happier with a giant, endangered antelope giving us our nickname! I'm less happy being a group with Mali, but if the top two go through we should be OK? I'm also hopeful of low-ish expectations, so cautiously optimistic...

Affo started his career with a couple of friendlies. The first saw his side drawing 1-1 against Costa Rica with W.Khazri scoring for his side. The next friendly saw his side beating Botswana 4-0 thanks to a goal from E.Skhiri and a hat-trick from I.Jebali

Bagpuss (Egypt)

Bagpuss's career started with a 3-0 win over Rwanda with M.Elneny grabbing the first goal and this was followed by a brace from R.Sobhi. The next game saw his side beating Tanzania 3-0 with M.Elneny grabbing a hat-trick.

Celtic_1967's first game in charge was a 1-1 friendly draw against Eq.Guinea with I.Bennacer doing the honours for his side. This was followed by a 2-1 win over EvilDave's Angola as Y.Brahimi and I.Bennacer scored the all important goals

CFuller (Zimbabwe)

CFuller's side started with an entertaining 3-2 win over Mauritius with T.Dzvukamanja, T.Kadewere and M.Bonne all scoring for his side. The next game saw his side beating Liberia 4-0 as M.Bonne scored twice. The other goals came from K.Mahachi and T.Dzvukamanja

An entertaining game against Malawi was Drogba11CFC's first game in charge and it saw his side coming out 3-2 winners with H.Ziyech, A.Hakimi and H.Mendyi all scoring. The following friendly was against New Zealand and his side never really turned up as they went down 1-0

Only the one friendly in the month saw his side going down 2-1 to Celtic_1967's Algeria, his sides goal was scored by G.Dala

The only friendly for the month sees his side playing Gabon and they won 2-0 thanks to goals from T.Partey and B.Rahaman

The final games of the year saw Affo's side facing Niger in the ANC qualifiers and his side did well with a 3-1 win thanks to goals from F.Sassi and a brace from W.Khazri. The following game saw his side facing Burkina Faso and he managed a 2-2 draw with F.Sassi and W.Khazri both scoring. The results meant his side finish this round of games second in the group

Bagpuss (Egypt)

The first qualifying game of the month saw a high scoring draw as his side drew 4-4 with Madagascar. M.Magdy grabbed the first goal and the rest were scored by M.Salah who took the match ball home with him. The following game saw his side thrashing Lesotho 5-0 with R.Sobhi and M.Magdy both scoring. The other three goals were scored by M.Salah to grab his second hat-trick in two games. The results leaves his side top of the table and qualified for the main tournament

The years first internationals sees Affo's side beating Niger 2-0 in the ANC qualifiers with goals from H.Harbaoui and W.Khazri. The next game saw his side beating Sudan 4-0 with D.Bronn, E.Skhiri scoring a goal each, the other two goals were scored by W.Kahzri. His side have finished second in the group on 14pts.

Bagpuss (Egypt)

Not the start to the year Bagpuss would have wanted as his side went 2-1 down against Cape Verde with M.Mohamed scoring the goal for his side. The following game saw his side beating Madagascar 3-2 thanks a brace from M.Salah and a goal from A.Hassan. His side finished sesond io the group on 13pts.

The year started with a 1-1 draw against DR Congo with K.Balde scoring. The next game saw his side beating Togo 3-1 with K.Diatta scoring a goal and K.Balde grabbing a brace. The results sees his side finishing top the group on 16pts with the 1-1 draw against DR Congo being the only dropped points

A good month for Algeria as they beat South Africa easily 3-0 thanks to goals from Y.Bahini, S.Hanni and I.Bennacer. The following game saw his side thrashing Sierra Leone 5-1 with I.Silmani getting a brace, the other goals came from A.Delort, I.Belfodil and N.Bentaleb. His side finished top of the group on 16pts.

The month began with a 3-2 loss to Togo with T.Kadewere scoring a brace. The next game in the month saw his side beating DR Congo 2-0 thanks to goals from T.Kadewere and K.Mahachi. His side finished bottom of the group with only 4pts

A 2-1 win over Sudan greeted the year for Salkster2102 as B.Traore grabbed a brace. The following game saw his side beating Niger 2-0 thanks to goals from E.Tapsoba and A.Traore. The result sees his side top of the group on 14pts and top due to scoring one more goal than Affo's Tunisia

Sherm got off to a cracking start for the year with Mauritius being thrashed 5-0 thanks to a brace from A.Haidara and a hat-trick from S.Koita. The next game though saw his side drawing 1-1 against Angola. The result saw his side finishing second in the group on 13pts

WLKRAS (Guinea)

WLKRAS's side started the month with a 5-0 thrashing of Guinea-Bissau thanks to goals from F.Kamano, S.Soumah, M.Camara, I.Conte and N.Keita. The next game saw his side drawing 1-1 with Morocco thanks to a goal from S.Kaba. The result sees his side finishing in 2nd place on 13pts

Ivory Coast (markwilson27) v Congo

Ivory Coast were made to work as thy beat Congo 3-2 after extra time. The goals came from C.Kouame, J.Boga and a late extra time winner from Gervinho

Nigeria (Gavrenwick) v Angola (EvilDave)

To be it wasn't the one sided affair the scoreline suggests with Nigeria coming up 3-1 winners. Angola's goal came from C.Mata whilst Nigeria's goals came from K.Iheanacho and a brace from V.Osimhen

Ghana (Mandy42) v Uganda

Mandy's side progressed through to the next round with a 2-1 after extra time win against Uganda. However it took an 89th minute equaliser from S.Tetteh to send the game into extra time with the same player scoring the eventual winner

Algeria didn't turn up for the game as Morocco beat them with ease 3-0 thanks to goals from A.Hakimi, S.Amrabat and H.Ziyech

January 26th: ¼ Finals

Mali (Sherm) v Tunisia (Affo)

Despite a poor start it was an easy win Tunisia as they beat Mali 3-1. Mali's early goal came from M.Marega but a brace from W.Khazri and a N.Sliti goal sealed the victory and a semi final place for Affo's side

Senegal (BenArsenal) v Ghana (Mandy42)

A second minute sending off of B.Mensah saw Ghana struggling from the get go and eventually they were beat 4-1 by Senegal. Ghana's only goal came from A.Ayew. Senegal's goals came from M.Niang, I.Gueye, S.Mane and K.Diatta

Gavrenwick's side dominated the game against Morocco and ran out easy 3-0 winners with a brace from V.Osimhen and a goal from J.Aribo

An easy win for markwilson27's Ivory Coast as they beat WLKRAS's Guinea 3-1 thanks to goals from J.Boga, W.Zaha and N.Pepe. Guinea's only goal came from S.Soumah late in the game
