Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career THE TEAM Goalkeepers The swiss national team keeper will be our number one for the season without question. A solid number 2, our other swiss national team keeper will probably get some games in the DFB Cup and in some not so important games. The young academy product will mostly play in our reserve team. Defenders Our skipper will have to lead the team from the back. He has got the experience and the ability. He will play alongside Hummels in central defence. Another swiss international. The french U21 international has bags of talent but has some way to go still. He still acts very clumsy at times. Young spanish right back with potential and a lot to learn still. Back after years of being loaned out, he should fight for a starting place on the right side now. Veteran right back who has seen it all. Still good enough to be a solid backup with his experience. Should be the starting right back but might take some time to gel with the team after being signed only recently. Long time servant on left back but hardly good enough anymore to be a first team contender. Experienced left back and portuguese national team regular. And our first team left back as well. Another left back. Nothing more than a backup. Midfielders Box-to-Box Midfielder with all the right attributes. First team for sure. The belgian international will fill the playmaker role. Hard-working central midfielder. A player every team needs at times. Technically gifted playmaker, but has to fight for his chance. The english international will fill our right side with flair. Our not-yet-english-international brings youth into the central midfield, but he still has to learn a lot. USA wonderkid who can play on either wing and in the middle. He is still very young so don´t expect to feature too often this season. Classic winger who can play on both sides. Utility player. The captain. He can also play on both wings and behind the striker(s). Left winger will play on the left wing. But can also play on the right wing. Loan player from Real Madrid. A good backup. Attackers The viking in attack. Lone striker up front and already a star. Backup striker from the reserve team. Potential star striker but he is only 15 and will play for the U19 this season. Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Season 2020/2021 Bayern were relentless once again. We will make a new attempt next season. At least we won one title: The DFB Pokal. We topped our group easily, but then we were unlucky against Real Madrid. No one cares about this competition anyway. SEASON STATS A great season for Erling Haaland, who won European Golden Boy, German Footballer Of The Year and League Topscorer. Edited February 11 by Carambau
Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Pre-Season 2021/2022 TRANSFERS Akanji and Dahoud were the only potential first teamers to leave. The rest is deadwood and loans to gain match practice. Alaba was a steal from Bayern. Vagnoman and Bella-Kotchap are excellent talents. Livakovic will be an upgrade to Burki. Herrera brings experience and Benteke is a backup. World class defender. He will help us grow. A highly talented wing-back. He needs some time but he will get it. Another hot prospect. He will be loaned out this season. The new number one. Burki will have to step aside. Sometimes you just need experience in midfield. Emergency backup when Haaland gets injured or needs a rest. THE TEAM Our defense looks much better now. Livakovic is solid in goal. Hope Zagadou develops faster. Schulz, Toljan and Wolf don´t have a future at the club. Hootieleece 433
I guess you decided the defense wasn't good enough. Good Luck trying to takedown Bayern, Subbed.

Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Season 2021/2022 This time we got one over Bayern. The title is ours. We went out in the quarters in the DFB Pokal. We made it to the semi finals in the Champions League this time. There, Juventus were luckier than us. Bayern were no match for us this season. SEASON STATS A great season for Erling Haaland, who won World Footballer Of The Year, German Footballer Of The Year and League Topscorer. Winter Transfer Guerreiro left for Barcelona and we had to find a replacement. We found out that Niklas Stark had a release clause of 8M, so we snatched him from Hertha. Hootieleece 433
Guess the defense was the problem....the revamped BD sure knocked Bayern off their perch. Did the manager get fired? Stark makes a great BWM-D or a BPD-C! I usually play with Hertha when I do a German save....

Yes, it looks like bolstering our defence did the trick Bayern Manager Flick was fired after the season, and Philip Cocu is now in charge. He seems to do better ... Stark is very versatile thats what makes him so precious
Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Pre-Season 2022/2023 TRANSFERS Delaney is the most prominent departure. Benteke left on a free after his 1 year contract ran out. A lot of loans to get the talents some match practice. Sandro Tonali was transfer listed so we had no choice but to sign him. Pinto, Carbonell and Sousa are young talents. Busk will be 3rd choice keeper. An upcoming world class player for our aging central midfield. Young goalkeeper with a lot of potential. Another hot prospect. He will be loaned out this season. Funny little guy with great technique. The coming midfield maestro, maybe. Our emergency goalkeeper. THE TEAM Tonali´s addition was literally vital as our midfield gets older and older. Edited February 21 by Carambau
Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Season 2022/2023 Man this was close! We win the title by the small margin of 4 goals. And HSV finishing third? How come? Well, because of this guy! He topped Haaland in the scoring chart! He doesn´t look too special though. Football is strange sometimes. A great cup run sees us win the DFB Pokal again. Semi finals again, lose out again. We just can´t seem to make the next step. This was easy. SEASON STATS Tonali was able to contribute a lot, same as Sancho. Sad thing is, that Sancho will be leaving on a free for Barcelona after this season. At least we were able to keep Haaland. But for how long? Edited February 20 by Carambau
Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Pre-Season 2023/2024 TRANSFERS Goodbye, Jadon Sancho! He did not want to extend his contract with many big clubs interested in him. In the end he chose Barcelona. A pity we get no money for him but thats´football... The other transfer that hurts is our keeper Livakovic signing for Chelsea. They came up with offers every 2nd day and in the end they succeeded in unsettling him. For the sake of team spirit i sold him for 69M! Then there is Bella-Kotchap who we LOANED to Real Madrid... strange thing but at least the training facilities there are top notch! As Sancho has gone, we needed more options on the wings and in came veteran Ryad Mahrez and Angel Gomes. For Livakovic we opted for Kolar, who is in fact a czech national team keeper. He is not bad but I also want to give Diogo Pinto a chance in goal. The other 3 are signings for the future mostly, but we will see how they turn up to perform in the games I will give to them. Veteran winger, but he surely is past his prime. He looks like a winger with potential. The new number one in goal. He should be able to mentor our young keepers as well. German midfield talent. We paid almost 20M for him. Another high potential central midfielder. Spanish U19 player who can play on both wings. THE TEAM Our 3rd keeper comes from our own youth academy: Jason Smith is a great talent. It has to be seen if we still depend so much on Haaland, as it seems this could be his last season for us because his contract is running out in June 2024. There are also some young players - I am looking at you, Moukoko - who should make the next step in their career finally this season. Edited February 18 by Carambau
Hootieleece 433
I can't believe you have been able to keep Haaland! In most saves he changes shirts every 3 years for 200 Million. Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Season 2023/2024 A bigger margin this time and an easier way to the title. There downside was our early exit in the cup at the hands of Wolfsburg. I should have played the regulars in defence instead of sticking to the youngsters. Semi finals again, against Real Madrid this time. Another disappointment. I should note that Haaland was injured in those 2 games. Maybe thats a litte explanation... We win it again. Poor Bayern. SEASON STATS The first season without Sancho and the last with Haaland. Reyna seems to step up now, he has made great progress. Next season will be interesting as to if Moukoko is already up to leading our attack (He does not seem to be ready yet though). Hummels is getting older but Zagadou is growing fast. Mahrez was a disappointment and will be let go. Gomes turned out an efficient winger. Tonali is very mature for his age. A look at the past winners. Manchester seems the capital of the Champions League at the moment. Same applies for London in the Europa League. Edited Monday at 09:29 by Carambau
Carambau 465
REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Pre-Season 2024/2025 TRANSFERS Haaland is gone. He scored 155 goals in 122 games for us since I started here. Wamangituka was a big success at Hamburger SV and scored 51 goals in 58 appearances there. Perez Tica shows great promise as an attacker as well. Veron is a great RB talent, Dais can play on both sides in defence, Olsen shall tutor our young keepers, Pitre adds depth in central midfield. Petkovic, Fassbender and Wagner have to develop before playing a role for the first team. He is a proven goalscorer. Let´s hope he scores as much for us as for HSV. Perez Tica already got some great attributes at the age of 21. He can put some pressure on Vagnoman for sure. He is old, he is past his best, but he can still mentor our your goalkeepers. 18 year old playmaker who should push for the 1st team. Versatile youngster who can push for the first team. THE TEAM Quite some changes for the new season. Let´s hope Wamangituka/Perez Tica can emulate Haaland at least a bit. Edited Monday at 18:00 by Carambau
Carambau 465 Posted Monday at 09:39 Author Share Posted Monday at 09:39 (edited) REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Season 2024/2025 This first season without Haaland went very smoothly. We were never in danger of losing the title. Bayern were abysmal and look like they are on the decline. We won the cup once more. The only hard game was the semi final against Hertha which we won after penalties. A disappointing showing in the Champions League. Both defeats against City in the group stage were embarassing. Then came Real Madrid again and we were out despite a draw in the Bernabeu. And we win it again. Poor, poor Bayern. SEASON STATS Perez Tica did a good job a replacement for Haaland, scoring 28 goals, 19 of them in the league. Wamangituka was injured a lot but still managed to score 13. Youngster Smith in goal is developing great. Tonali and Pitre ran the show in central midfield, with Gomes shining on the wing. Hummels got a new contract so he can mentor the young defenders. Carambau 465 Posted Monday at 18:06 Author Share Posted Monday at 18:06 REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Pre-Season 2025/2026 TRANSFERS Chelsea pay 112M for Reyna! We could not say no to that. Just 3 new additions. And only one player for our first team: Juan Pablo Sosa. The other two have to learn much still, Keeper Millan will be loaned to HSV, Backstrom plays for our U19. Brillant winger talent with already 22 caps for Mexico at the age of 20. THE TEAM Our young team is slowly developing. Boys will be Men. Soon.

Carambau 465 Posted Wednesday at 13:02 Author Share Posted Wednesday at 13:02 REAL LOVE - ECHTE LIEBE A Borussia Dortmund Career Season 2025/2026 A comfortable title win. Bayern are back at the top again though. We went out in the 2nd round. Better not talk about it. An abysmal showing in the group stage. Thanks to a win on the last matchday we made it to the Europa League at least. Spoiler What happened then can only be discribed as a "we dont care anymore" mood which brought us the title. Only Braga gave us some kind of a fight, then it was easy going. Yay! Silverware! This time RB caught us. SEASON STATS Perez Tica scored 35 goals in 44 games - he is slowly getting into Haaland terrain. Gomes also had a fantastic season, just as Sosa. But... END OF THE ROAD I have decided to end this save here as I cannot find much motivation anymore to continue. We won a lot of Bundesliga titles, a few DFB Pokals and the Europa League once and we managed to push the almighty Bayern from their domestic throne. Thats not too shabby I would say. Thank you all for reading and contributing to this career thread. Hope to see you in my next career thread! Good bye and have a nice sunny day
