Tough decision.

Luisinho isnt not the same anymore at age 35.

But he was one of the first guys (with the retired Machado and Manoel) to choose the KSA team.

So he deserve this World Cup!

Yes the plan was always WC 2030 or WC 2034.

I tried to (pick for the most part) only players, which are on the edge to get into "their" national team.

And at the moment everythings goes well.

Unlucky against France but overall a very good World Cup. You should be very proud.

Your career thread and ToMexico's DR Congo team thread are my 2 favorite saves as you have set goals in what you want to do and they are all long term focuses which I and others like on here.

After I done this Ultimate Manager challenge I might try do something similar to what you are doing but I am thinking of China, UAE or maybe New Zealand team and just do a long term dynasty thing like you are doing.

After this challenge is completed, I might do it again next year with another continent.

Bolivia and Belarus only need 3 years to get players naturalized.

 

Also Africa with e.g. Morocco and DR Congo looks interesting.

Build up the national team slowly and try and use the youth systems of France, Belgium, Holland etc.

Yeah I might do it with Ivory Coast as I loved their kits and also Drogba. 

I want to do something similar to ToMexico's save but also yours as well. Maybe pick the best team in Ivory Coast and do a youth only save with them and Ivory Coast National team but I think I would struggle to bring in good players to Ivory Coast league long enough for them to become nationalized. 

Do you know anywhere where I can find a list of how many years it takes to become nationalized in each country ?

Nice one. I'll probably try to sign him up. 

Belarus would be an interesting one for sure.

Yeah I hate the MLS rules. So annoying.

I just clicked on that link you posted and thank you by the way for the great link and I noticed there are a few nations with 0 on years to gain nationality like Afghanistan for example. Does that mean they become eligable to play for Afghanistan straight away then ?

A great series of updates. The WC was a fantastic effort, some good wins and so unlucky to lose against France.

Sorry to see Mamabolo go, he has been incredible.

Everything looks so good at club & country levels.

That link is interesting. To me Argentina (2 years) and Poland & Serbia (3 years) look interesting for anybody wanting to try your idea on a shorter scale than five years. The secret is you need a league and country with cash, which KSA and places like UAE/Qatar/China certainly do.

@Ronaldo Beckhamyou should try with Japan. Your players need to reside there for 100 years to gain nationality according to the link, so you could field a WP squad of very experienced senior players from the year 2120. You will be able to get to that year in a couple of (real) days :lol:

That means its not in the list (due to lack of information) or its not possible to get a pass.

Thats why you need to check it ingame.

In ARG, POL and SRB the key will always be to scout well, play them for 3 years and then sell them after they get a pass.

+ Those nations get so many good players, so you can finance the possible foreign players.

Its not easy, but it possible.

I echo what Jogo said about Argentina, Poland and Serbia are good options.

I also think Uruguay, Tajikstan, Singapore, Qatar, Jamaica,

Gibraltor is only 2 years by the way which would be an interesting save.
