Counter attack football with play out from the back? High press with play out from the back?

Counter attack football should be direct pass and high tempo, can it combine with play out from the back as to draw opposite team to press us high and hit them by quick passes from the back?

Also should high press combine with play out from the back?  As in high press you team should be in other own half pressing but when your goal kick you build up the attack low from the goalkeeper to defenders ?

Any thoughts?

High pressing game can also be played from the back (out of defense), and makes even more sense than in counter-attacking football.

PoD and pressing intensity pertain to different phases of play - the former is in possession, while the latter is out of possession.

Pretty much all Italian, Argentinean and most Brazilian teams play it short and relatively slow on the ground, press agressivly inside own half and then do a tempo switch with rapid short passing if a good counter attacking opportunity shows up

Even catenatio era teams did this, thought there pressing was less aggressive
