In the role and duty stars are showing the players ability instead of best position im sure this wasn't the case in ln the last football manager games? and its been like this since Beta

Hi @Mcfc1894 the stars are indeed supposed to show the ability of the player in that particular role.

You may find that the player has a better rating a position he is less natural at which gives you a dilemma as a manager.  Do you train him in that position or keep him where he feels natural?

Plenty of players who have changed position in their careers; Gareth Bale was famously a left back before being moved to left wing and sometime deep lying forward/ shadow striker and Ashley Cole was a striker before being moved to left back

@John Wood its also showing it for players I haven't scouted so I know the ability even before scouting. Also As it's player role wouldn't it be better to show the stars as how good they are in position rather than current Ability
