How to find staff in FM20

Hi, Most of my staff has turned down a new contract and I am in june. They are all leaving in a month. I am unable to place a staff advert for their roles, because they are still here. How do you guys find replacements for the staff members who is leaving? Do you really play the pre-season without example assistant manager while the staff advert is looking for a replacement? Or do you just use staff seach and filter by atributes? Or perhaps try and sign the staff from clubs in the same league?

Is there a mod for the game that allows me to place a staff advert for a filled possition, it was a feature in fm19. odd that its not a thing in fm20.
