Fluidity Vs. Flexibilty?

Recommended Posts

Fluidity is the involvement players will have in transitions.

For example, on highly structured your defenders will only look to be involved in the defensive phase and your attackers will only look to attack.

But on very fluid, everyone will try to get involved in all phases of play.

The above are just a label these days and don’t do anything tactically like the old shape system did.

It basically works off the amount of support duties you have eg the more support duties the more fluid.

Dont get concerned with this as I said it’s just a label and doesn’t affect your tactic in anyway.
