Umlaut / Special Character Rendering in 3D Match

I have a German player that has the letter 'ß' in his name. When he scores a goal, the in-game overlay displays his name as the scorer in all-caps. Problem: there is no capital version of that letter in German and thus, the letter gets transcribed into 'SS' (== 2 letters). Funny enough, the in-game overlay then drops the last character of the player's name from the UI.

So the player's name (Keßler) gets transcribed as KESSLE rather than KESSLER. Likely a mixup in the calculation of the number of letters to render?


See attached screenshot where the 3D engine renders his name correctly, whereas the overlay has dropped the last letter.
