Saved team selections not showing on team selection screen before games

I've had a search to see if this has been posted already but I can't find anything about it. It's really annoying me.

I always save my strongest starting eleven and subs as a team selection. I have done this on my current save. When I am on my squad screen it is showing up and I can select it no problem as you can see in the first screenshot below

 

However once I progress to the time of the next match and I've to select my team this option is no longer available.
