save game required Player unhappy after reaching continental (as promised)

I made a promise to one of my players, that we could qualify for EURO Cup. After winning the cup in Portugal, I get directly into the group stage in EURO Cup, but the player is still unhappy, because apparently I failed to fulfill the promise I made.

Do you have a save game from before your last game of the season? If so can you upload it to the cloud and we can take a look in to this, details on how to provide saves below
