Why was my player called offside?

Hi,

can someone explain to me why my player (Luis Antonio up front) was called offside? I have seen the review, the yellow and red lines are shown on top of each other and the ME decided he was offside, no problem with that. However, I don't understand why does it matter since he didn't neither touch the ball nor did he block the keeper's view (the ball was flying high up, the keeper just missed it). If he had touched the keeper not allowing him to get in the right position, a foul would be called, not offside. Can someone enlighten me on the rules for this?

I would say he definitely was involved in the play and that is why

Antonio ran in front of the keeper by the looks of it, so would be deemed to be involved from an offside position, so the decision is probably correct ( although open to different interpretations!)

Interferes with the goalkeeper while in an offside position.

The guy who was offside and then fouls the keeper . Weird animation in there where he is inside another player though. Thats a red card offence.
