Scout Reports - appropriate report cards

Is there a way of stopping your scouts suggesting you sign players who have "the potential to be" a player who can at best play a couple of divisions below you? For example, playing in the Championship and being told about player who may make it at League Two?

Also, I see reports are still not relevant to budget - having £20m to spend but being told to target a £40m player in the window? Why does this happen?

If you mean players getting recommended to your via the Scouting Centre then if you select the Filter option you can fine tune the type and quality of players that will get displayed on that panel.

For scouting assignments you can set the min star rating required for your scouts to return a report on them.

Whilst if you are using the Scouting Focus option if you set Availability to Now that should limit results to players inside your current budget.
