Squad is permanent before every game

I changed my squad players in Team Selection screen.

 Before the next game I get advice from my assistant manager to make some changes and I see the squad is from some old game, i checked in Tactics - the same, the old squad, not the players from my last game

What am I doing wrong? It's like frozen, the same players in the tactics and before the match, although I've changed them before previous match

For example, I have my DL with broken leg for monthes, but he is still in Tactics and the squad before the match, even i play different players in his position
