Mons Posted November 28, 2020 Share Posted November 28, 2020 I'm working on my usual Maltese file, which I have been releasing for 5 or 6 years and which I really don't want to have to stop doing, so I'm looking for some assistance on a lower division promotion issue I'm stumped on. I'd be more than happy if somebody could direct me to a similar file I can use as a guide, I don't expect somebody to do it for me So, I have a division which has 3 groups (Group A [8 teams], Groups B and C [7 teams]), from which 4 teams are promoted in total, the 3 group winners + the playoff winner. Here's where it gets tricky. There are 9 teams in the playoff: the teams who place 2nd, 3rd and 4th in each group. 2 of the 4th placed teams play each other to join the other 7 teams in the quarter finals of the playoff, with the playoff winner going up. krlenjushka Posted November 28, 2020 Share Posted November 28, 2020 Set hidden stage/stages to sort teams from 2nd, 3rd and 4th position. You can transfer standings from league stages in order to sort them but this shoudnt work for you because groups are not even so some teams will have more games played. 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

But if you're using "points from previous stage", and specifying the stage for each entry, it should work fine anyway? Not sure about this - i think i tried this option back in fm19 and it was broken. Not sure about this tbh. Hidden stage would always be my way. I like to have control over this.
