Hello, as the title says, i have been having issues with the new pre-game editor. I try to launch it, but it instantly crashes. I hear an error sound, but the error never appears and the game just closes.

Hi there, which operating system are you using? And also are you using Steam or Epic store? Thanks

I too am having this issue, tried disabling me firewall and reinstalling but it wont launch

I have indeed been able to fix the issue. I had downloaded the editor on my second harddrive. This means that my FM 21 was on one harddrive, and the editor was on another one, so what i did was delete the editor. Then downloaded it again, but on my main harddrive. I also launched the editor in safe mode instructions on that are here:

The -safe launch option will cause the game to launch with minimal video settings, in windowed mode and with a 640 x 480 resolution. This can be helpful for solving video configuration problems.

  1. Open Steam
  2. Go to the "Library"
  3. Right-click the game which needs to be reconfigured
  4. Select "Properties" from the menu
  5. Click the "Set launch options..." button
  6. Remove any launch options currently shown.
  7. Type -safe in the box.

After i had done this, i tried launching the editor, and to my surprise it worked. :)

Pretty sure you can do it this way.

1. Uninstall editor
2. Install again (you should get two options to place the editor in, this of course only happens if you have two or more drives)
3. This time though place it on your main drive, instead of another drive. (this obviously only works if you have more than one HDD or SSD)
4. Launch the editor (at this point it should work. This atleast worked for me)
