Jimbokav1971
I started this save because I wasn't really sure where to go and who to manage in FM21, so I just went with the Group save suggestion which can be found here. The full game is out now though and everyone is migrating to their own threads and saves so I thought I would do the same. Thanks very much for organising this @Deisler26 The 1st 12 seasons of my save can be found in the following thread, but I will be adding the season summaries here just to make the thread complete. To anyone who hasn't read my stuff before here are my 2 main saves from FM20. I managed a non-playable team from Wales, (Ton Pentre), to Euro Conference success in FM20, using only the players promoted from my Academy. I then started with a save with a Tier 10 side in England (Irchester Utd), and took them to the Premier League, again, only using players produced by my Academy. I have previously completed the San Marino challenge, but have never completed either the @dafugeor @Gundochallenges despite many attempts. I always do ok, but I never seem to be able to make that final step in these saves. (Or maybe I'm just rubbish). I've had pretty decent saves in Gibraltar, Iceland and Serbia (that can be found in these forums if you want to search), over the years, and my general style is Youth Only, (or at the very least very Youth Development based). I am known, (I think), for giving my players nicknames and getting my GK's to score goals, (although my GK is not being asked to score goals so far in FM21). I was all set to move on to a new club in another Country, but I don't think I'm finished at Brondby IF yet in Denmark. I've played 12 seasons. I don't want to give up on that yet. (The real reason I don't want to give up quite yet is because FC København are an absolute beast of a club right now and the challenge to overcome them is a significant one that you don't always get in the game. It's the challenge as much as the game that I don't want to walk away from. While the goal of the save was to win the Champions League with Brondby IF, (after starting with a non-playable club at the bottom of the Danish structure), the goal of the save now is to dominate København. It will be all about beating them into submission. Edited November 25, 2020 by Jimbokav1971
Jimbokav1971
End of Season 1 Summary. Summary. I would like to claim that I am a a God-like FM player, but the truth of the matter is that I signed 3 good players at the end of Aug/beginning of Sept and we did ok until the Winter break and then my DoF signed Atonis & Taranis in Jan and I just pressed continue until the last league game of the season where I selected the team myself and we lost. 2. Division. We romped it in the end. Sydbank Pokalen. They are in the league above and it was a close game but they took their chances. Transfers. Squad by Appearances. Star player. Taranis was an absolute beast. 16 goals and 5 assists in 12 appearances is just plain rude.
Jimbokav1971
Time to jump ship? Season 2. SOFA. We finished comfortably in the Promotion Stage, but the truth is that we are in trouble. We have lost our last 3 game and are in freefall after losing not just our main goal threat Taranis, but also our playmaker Harboe. Taranis has surprisingly dropped back down to 2.Division with Hvidovre who are top of the league. I expect them to romp it from here if they play him. Harboe has moved to the Superliga with Viborg FF. I really need the DoF to pull something out of the bag in terms of signings or we will be stuck here in limbo for a while. We're a Semi-Pro club competing against established Pro clubs and we're just not up to it. SønderjyskE are an established Superliga side and would be a reasonable fit, (and obviously my 1st choice), but they are not really set up for Youth production. FC Fredericia are not really a good fit for me, but they are a Pro club so I am considering them. They are in the relegation stage so no 2nd promotion for me if I take them over. Hobro IK are more of a fit for me, but they are in the relegation stage so that would rule out a 2nd successive promotion. HB Køge are the last possible option for me right now. Like the last 2 clubs they are in the relegation stage, (which is probably why they need a new manager). We've lost 4 in a row now and I need to get out because this is going to get worse before it gets better. I've applied for the SønderjyskE job, but none of the others so far. Didn't even get an interview. I've applied for the HB Køge job, (they have the best facilities), and I will see how that goes. I'm tempted to just resign. All change. Season 2. HB Køge. Although the facilities were actually better at my old club, I think it's fair to say that players are considerably better. Oskar Snorre is the best GK at the club. Martin Koch Helsted is the best striker. Mathias Hebo 1st choice playmaker. Christian Sørensen a way better winger than I have had at SOFA. Eddi Gomes. Wow. Just wow. How the previous manager didn't get this team promoted is beyond me. This is gonna be good. 2nd Season. Finances I can see why the previous manager was struggling at HB Køge. I honestly don't see it as an issue. The purpose of me joining this club is to get me promoted to the 3F SuperLiga and I think they're well capable of that. The only real problem would be if they reverted to Semi-Pro from Pro, but I don't think that's likely. They were formed in 2009 when 2 different clubs merged and they have been relegated at the 1st attempt both times they have played at the top level. The wage budget at the moment is £20,370 per week and we're spending £24,558. No wonder the club are in trouble. There are 11 players at the club each earning £1k+ per week, (total is £14,200 per week), and 4 of them are the wrong side of 30. As if that wasn't bad enough, there are a number of TM at the club who each like to play with their back to goal and while they are decent players, (very decent in some cases), that simply doesn't fit with how I want to play. They will either learn to adapt, (I love a Big Man just so long as he doesn't play with his back to goal), or I will move them on. I think the DoF is going to have some wage budget in the Summer. So this just happened. (It didn't happen last season). Maybe it's because I'm at a Pro club now? If that was in the game last season I certainly didn't see it. I quite like it but don't like the scrolling aspect. It looks messy. Just make it slightly smaller. There is lots of "dead" space on these pages. Looks like a good idea that was poorly designed. Jimbokav1971
Preliminary Phase. Season 3. HB Køge. We have finished the Prelim stage of the league in 2nd place. The top 2 go us and we play each of the other 5 teams twice. We're 3 points ahead of AGF and a further 7 points ahead of everyone else. If we can win just 1 of the games against AGF then we have a hell of a chance of getting promoted to the top tier. Season 3 Summary. We were asked to finish in the top 3, (I thought it was top 4 actually), so the board are happy, but I'm not happy at all. We should have done much better than this. Promotion Fixtures. This was absolutely appalling. Not only did we lose 5 of our 10 games, but 2 of those games were against my old club SOFA, (who I assumed I would waltz past). They also beat us in the regular season meaning that we dropped 9 points to them. Promotion Table. Without losing 9 points to SOFA, we would have been promoted. I really am annoyed. Sydbank Pokalen. We can't complain at losing to such a big club. The finances are a problem. I'm going to give it 1 more season, but after that I think I will jump ship because I'm concerned that the debt will become too big to manage. Squad by Appearances. We have lost 2 of our best players and especially Adedeji (ENG) (NGA) and his 31 goals are going to be a miss. Snorre 6'3" will be less of a loss as I have already signed his replacement. NordicBet Liga Team of the Season. We had 3 players in the team of the season and none of them will be at the club next season.
Jimbokav1971
Brondby IF Manager sacked, (2nd time). May 2023. They have actually been relegated. They started the season really well too. I was going to stay for 1 more season, but I have applied for the Brondby IF job. They are bound to get promoted at the 1st attempt. Right? Jimbokav1971
Season 4. Preliminary Stage. HB Køge. Brondby still don't have a Manager, (or a caretaker manager), almost 11 months after sacking their last manager. They are top of the table after beating us in March. I haven't had a response to Brondby not having a Manager in the bugs forum and I think I will create a 2nd Manager, add him as the Brondby Manager and then resign, just to try and kick-start things again. I'm not sure at this stage if I'm going to apply when and if I'm able. 6 of the best. May 2024. HB Køge. 1. Division Promotion Stage. Season 4. HB Køge. Squad by Appearances. Finances. Summary. We've finally done it and in some style too. We conceded the fewest goals and our striker beat the league goal-scoring record that had stood since 1946. What made it even better was that we beat Brondby a few times along the way, and also beat them to the title, and our little rivalry with them ultimately meant that they didn't even finish as Runners Up. I don't like this club and I particularly don't like the fact that I have gained success with so many loan players at the club and in particular that the top goal-scorer was in on loan. It's just about the opposite to how I like playing, but needs must and it was the only way I could see the club getting promoted in the short-term. I tried it without loan players the previous season and we blew up and it's just hard work building a new side every season. So we're up and that's the good news, and as happy as I am that we beat Brondby to the title and they didn't get promoted and we did, the aim of this save is to have success with Brondby and we now find ourselves playing in the league above them. That just doesn't make sense to me. They still don't have a Manager, (the SI boffins think that it might have been caused by me accepting a new contract after applying for the Brondby job, which makes sense), so what i'm going to do is create a new manager in charge of Brondby and then retire immediately and then I will apply for the job again and see how it goes. I was starting to get seriously worried that Brondby were never going to appoint a new manager and I was going to have to bin off this save.
Jimbokav1971
Irresistible. Season 5. Brondby. ps. This didn't go quite to plan. Sydbank Pokalen campaign. Season 5. Brondby. As usual I'm afraid I fell a little short in comparison to @smp20 I can't really complain about losing to Midgetland. I've always struggled to pronounce this club and as we're here and likely to be playing them a fair bit it's about time I learned. So it seems like its pronounced "FC Mitulan". (That's my story and I'm sticking with it). Anyway, we're out the cup. 1.Division League campaign. Season 5. Brondby. We were crowned champions with 5 games to spare as I personally retained the trophy that I won last season with HB Køge. It was a risk dropping back down and inviting the pressure of getting promoted again at the 1st attempt, but we absolutely romped it from start to finish. I rotated the squad after we won the game against Lyngby, and that explains the 2 losses while the new players got up to speed.
Jimbokav1971
Welcome to the 3F Superliga. Season 6. Brondby IF. This is how the Top tier finished last season. The top 4 teams auto-qualify for Europe and the 5th & 6th placed teams playoff for a 5th spot. Denmark are ranked 15th in the coefficient rankings at the moment. You don't get a 6th place until you reach position 6, so that will take a while. My thinking at this early stage is that we should be capable of finishing in the top half of the league and that would please at the very least being involved in a playoff for European competition. None of this just try and survive malarkey. I will have the hump if we don't qualify for Europe next season via the league. That's possibly a little unrealistic but I don't really care. We haven't got any money, but we do have approx £750k to spend on players and a wage budget approx. twice as much as we're currently spending, (so no issues there). We should be able to look for bargains and I will try to sign players on a free with a view to then playing them and selling them on. Because we don't have much cash to spend, I have to accept that I will be signing "flawed" players. I don't have the money to buy the finished article so we will either be signing youngsters who haven't fully developed yet, (this is what the club wants), but I'm also keen to sign "rough diamonds" that can do a job for us and who I can maybe sell-on after a season or so. I plan on "gaming" the transfer market if I can, but to do this I do really go all in and players who I buy will have to play in order to appreciate financially. Many of you will be used to me not signing players and just using Academy products, but this save is a little different. It will be very much led by DoF football signings, but I'm easing myself into the recruitment meetings and I think how this will work is that the DoF will still do the bulk of the signings, but he will maybe give me 5 -6 options 1st and I will tell him which 1 I want him to pursue. That's the plan anyway. Of course I will still be investing heavily in our own Academy, but while I considered going Youth Only after we got promoted to the top tier, I don't think it's in keeping with this save. I'm also not restricting myself to signing Danes only or even Scandinavian only. I will literally sign anyone who I think can make us better or who I can turn a profit on. Looking forward, (always the plan), I also want to see which players are out there who have previously come through our Academy. I plan on playing in Europe next season and with that in mind it might be sensible to bring players back who were HG at club. There are certainly HG at club players out there who are good enough to play for us. It just remains to be seen if I can persuade any of them to sign for us. I'm not going to show you all signings, but this is a significant transfer window as we prepare for our 1st season back in the top flight, so it's worth spending some time on it. Madsen * immediately becomes the best player at the club. What a free signing! I don't know what formation Midtjylland use and maybe he just doesn't fit in, but bloomin hell they must have some midfield if this guy can't get a game. He's already worth almost £1M. I notice that the DoF has only signed him on a 1 year deal. I will renegotiate that and then probably look to sell him 12 months from now. Hansen * is a youngster that I really like the look of. There were a few that I might have preferred over him, but this bloke was available on a free and that was that. At the moment he's probably going to start in our strongest team, but that might change between now and the 1st game of the season. Interestingly he's only been signed on a 6 month contract until Christmas. What on Earth is the DoF doing? I need to sort that. Season preview. We battered SønderjyskE last season and if both Vejle & Randers are expected to finish below us in the table at the outset then we shouldn't have too much trouble seeing them off. That means 3 more teams to finish ahead of so that we play in the Champions Group rather than the Relegation Stage. That's what this season is about. Finishing top half and hope that that's good enough to qualify us for Europe.
Jimbokav1971
New Firm derby. Season 6. Brondby IF. I know that Celtic/Rangers is the Old Firm derby, but I had never heard of the Brondby/København New Firm derby. We, (Brondby), have just won a New Firm game for the 1st time in this save. Jimbokav1971
3F Superliga Preliminary Phase. Season 6. Brondby. We started the season really poorly with only 1 win from the opening 7 games, but have battled back well and turned things around to sneak into the Championship Group. Although we qualified, we needed Nordsjælland to lose their last 2 games to do so. We're going to find it hard to finish in the top 4 to auto-qualify for Europe, but AC Horsens have lost 4 games in a row, (and I'm hoping that will continue), and we recently smashed 7 goals past OB so maybe just maybe this thing's doable. At the very least we will be in a Playoff for a European spot. Sydbank Pokalen. Season 6. Brondby. We went 1 stage further than last season, but still couldn't get the job done. 3F Superliga Championship Group. Season 6. Brondby. We might have lost the Cup Final, (it came between the 2 draws and 2 losses), but our form in the league was beyond my wildest expectations. We won the opening 4 games of the Championship Group and then went and finished with 2 more wins. We've qualified for the Europa Conference. Season Summary. Season 6. Brondby. I've almost turned into @Makoto Nakamurawith all the signings, but I promise it was all my DoF. If someone can explain to me how £4,900, £55,000, £4,100 and £2,400 make £105k I'/d be really grateful. Pretty sure that those tiny loan payments don't add up to £48,000 either. I'm just ignoring this for the time being. I expect to qualify for Europe every season from now on and that should sort the debt over the next few seasons. I would love to start upgrading the facilities, but I need to sort the debt first. These are the most valuable players at the club. Had we not qualified for Europe this season I would probably have sold the top 2 at least, but because we have I don't think I'm going to sell anyone who I can get on a 2 year contract. Kvistgaarden has 2.5 years on his contract, is 24 years old and has just scored 31 goals this season after scoring 45 goals last season. Nicolaisen 6'4" was signed on a free in July last year and is now valued at £1.3M. The only downside is that he is 29 so ideally we will get next season out of him and then sell him. Jimbokav1971
Pre-season. Season 7. Brondby. I have a little conundrum. My usual style of management is play Youth Only and something that goes hand in that with that is squad rotation. While I often don't have the best players, I always have more players and by regularly rotating players my fresh but poorer quality players are often able to out-perform their more illustrious opponents. That's not quite so easy to do when you have to register players to play in league games and only have 25 slots. Yes you can play U21's, but young players often come at a Premium and while my usual tactic would be to have a steady production line pumping them out, we are FAR from at that stage now. I like a big squad. I love a big squad. It allows you to develop more players at the same time, (because there are more games providing more opportunities). My strength in recent issues of the game has been my ability to manage the squad effectively and pick the right players for the right games and make sure that they are fit and available when I need them. (Not easy when they also might be playing either Reserve or U19 games). The problem here though is that so far in this save my squad selection has been significantly less impressive than my Ass Man's, (via the "quick pick" button). We're playing in the Euro Conference this season and I think, (based on my experience with FM20 in Wales & Iceland), that unless I get unlucky and there is a big club in the Euro League that drops down into the Conference, then many of these games should be not only competitive, but also pretty winnable. What I can'y do is expect the same size squad of 25 players that I had last season, to play in Europe this season with no additions. If I buy players that are 21+ and can't play in the league then that opens a whole new can of worms so I'm caught between a rock and a hard place. We only have approx £750k and that doesn't really get you much when you are talking about young players who are good enough to play right now. We're £1.3M overdrawn at the bank but have a transfer budget of £716,000. While I want to make new signings to strengthen our European campaign, the reality is that I probably shouldn't because we can't afford to yet. I need the money from Europe in these early seasons to make us solvent again so that I can get the facilities up and start producing youngsters. But at the same time we might miss out on the Group Stage as a result, (am I being too ambitious), or even fail to make the cut for the top half of the domestic league, (which was a close run thing after a poor start last season.... I think I've just decided that what I need to do is concentrate on the league, (making the top-half cut and giving us the opportunity to play in Europe again next season), and anything that actually happens in Europe this season is a bonus and all the money we make is extra anyway. I need to just take it step by step and stop trying to take short-cuts. If we qualify for the Group Stage in Europe but then miss out on Europe next season then that would be a set-back. No, we need to concentrate on the league.
Jimbokav1971
Awards. Dec 2026. Brondby. Danish Manager of the Year. Bit of a strange one this really. I didn't win the league, (finished 4th). I didn't win the Cup, (knocked out in the Semi's),. My team didn't play in Europe last season. Granted we are doing well in all 3 competitions this season, but it's still strange when Jess Thorup did the double with FC København. Danish Media Player of the Year. He's scored at better than a goal a game in both league and European games this season after pushing on from a reasonable last season. Danish Players Player of the Year. Not capped at U19 or U21 level. I don't think a senior call-up is far away, (but I must have a look at the Danish National Team at the end of this season). Danish Team of the Year. Eriksen makes this too. I'm really interested to see who is playing in the Danish National Team and where in the World they're playing. Danish Superliga Autumn Player of the Year. I'm not really sure what period of games this covers. Danish Goalkeeper of the Year. I inherited Snorre 6'3" at HB Køge when I took over, but I let him go to Brondby when we missed out on promotion the 1st season. Luckily I then moved on to Brondby and renewed my acquaintance. I'm not looking to replace him at the moment. Danish National Team strikers. Kasper Dolberg is still at Nice but not doing very well. Mo Daramy is still at FC København and is worth £10.5M. He scored 32 league goals last season, winning the Golden boot. They are crying out for someone to come in and play with Daramy.

Jimbokav1971
Big bids. Jan 2027. Brondby. Chinese clubs are interested in Eriksen and Wuhan and someone else have just come in for him with bids of £2.2M and £1.8M. At the same time Shenjen came in with a bid of £1.8M for our other starting striker Kvistgaarden. Eriksen has just signed a new 3 year deal so I've got no reason to let him go and Kvistgaarden has 18 months left on his so it's sort of getting to the stage that I might think about either selling him or getting him to sign a new contract. Actually, he's HG at club so I definitely don't want to sell him. He's still only 24 years old.
Jimbokav1971
Season 7 Summary. Brondby. You know what I've just noticed? Brondby IF are sponsored by a company called Red Barnet and it's clearly visible on the shirts in the changing rooms when you load a game. Who do I support in real life? Yep. Barnet FC. It would appear that Red Barnet are a children's charity. If a foreign club came in for any of our players I think I would seriously consider it. There is no way I'm selling our best players to Midtjylland or København if I can help it. I was really lucky that he was still at the club when I took over. 3F Superliga Preliminary Stage. 3F Superliga Championship Group. Sydbank Pokalen. FC København are the best team in the Country. There is no disgrace to losing to them at the moment, especially not by a single goal in each leg, but we have to get better. We have to start turning them over. The 1st loss to them here initiated a run of 7 games within which we won just once, and saw us crash out of not only this competition, but also Europe. Europe. Europe prize money. I think a lot of people turn their nose up at the lesser European competitions because what you earn out of them is so small in comparison to the obscene amounts you get for playing in the Champions League. What I thought I would do is keep a track of all the money as we get it, and at the end of the season I'm going to add this with how much more gate receipts we have received than last season and this is going to give us a ball-park figure of what a season in the Euro Conference is worth to a club like our. Obviously I don't know how far we're going to go, but I'm aiming for the Group stages and will be a bit peeved if we don't make it. That being said I'm not going to be playing a full strength team in any of the games so we might get battered. I made a bit of an error when selecting my Euro Conference squads. I didn't pick any younger players because I assumed they would be available, but they have to be at the club for a certain length of time before they count as under-age players and as a result we're a fair bit weaker than we might have been. The other thing I did was select a very similar squad to the 3F Superliga squad, and what I should have done is selected different fringe players so that I had fresh players. Ah well. We live and learn as they say. Squad by Appearances. European Golden Boot. Transfers. I don't plan on spending much cash on anyone at the moment because I want to build up the infrastructure 1st. I've had £700k available all season and spent little of it. I'm happy with who I've got and I'm just bringing in players at the end of their contract if they improve us or are young players who will improve us in the future. Finances. Facilities. Our Facilities are already good. There is absolutely no doubt about it, but I want more. We don't have the cash to improve either the Training Facilities or the Youth Facilities, but we should be able to sort both the Junior Coaching and the Youth Recruitment. Unfortunately they have refused both requests, so I'm going to try and persuade them. (It didn't work). Youth Intake. (27a) Boilesen looks decent, but he's going to be a more workmanlike midfielder than the playmaker I was hoping for.

Jimbokav1971
I see others like @Makoto Nakamura& @ToMexico!! creating progress charts and as a reader I always love seeing them, but for some reason I'm often a little reluctant to complete my own. In this save I don't care about goal-scoring keepers, or red or yellow cards, and I don't even care about attendances, money or youth facilities really. All I really care about is winning stuff but even that is problematic as I can see me playing in multiple European competitions in the same season and I can see it breaking my chart. Anyway, here is an updated chart of my progress so far. Yes the Eriksen who score 40 goals for my HB Køge side in 2023/24 is the same Eriksen who scored 54 goals for my Brondby IF side last season. Eriksen isn't the only player to play for me at multiple clubs. I've actually had a player play for me at all 3 clubs after coming through the intake at Svendborg fB-Oure FA. (21f) Yaw Diallo (GHA) is very much a bit-part player though. He played 3 games in Europe last season but wasn't registered for the league and hasn't been registered for either domestic or European games this season. Jimbokav1971
It's weird. He doesn't actually look that good. He just scores loads of goals. He's classed as a "Pacy hitman" and I think that tells you everything. He's just a rubbish Jamie Vardy. I think this striker might be over-powered in the game by the looks of it. The problem is that I've got quite a few strikers on the books now and some of them look better than him. If I could get someone interested in buying him I would probably sell and give the next one a go. Kvistgaarden was already at the club when I arrived and is Eriksen's regular partner. He doesn't score many goals but is more pleasing aesthetically on the eye. I signed Bonde on a free and have loaned him back to the OB who had him before. (Why not offer him a new contract then?). He looks really good and isn't another speed merchant. I also like the "likes ball played to feet" PPM on him because it offers something a little different. Finn Skytte came through the Svendborg fB-Oure FA Academy after I left. They really do have decent facilities there and you should all be keeping an eye on the players they produce. He's also gone on loan to OB with Blonde, (that was a mistake), and is playing in front of him. Hansen * looks like the real deal and is probably the 1 I want to play instead of Eriksen, (if he would just stop scoring). I can't get anyone to come in for Olsen on loan, even if I ask no wages. That doesn't seem right. He's starting to complain about not playing but has 2 years left on his contract. I think I might have to flog him on the cheap. Tranberg * is a player that I was tracking for ages, but I don't think the scout reports were accurate and he's not got as much PA as they claimed. (Or maybe the coaches are wrong). Mikkel Iversen * is the next on the list. He's got the pace but not the dribbling ability, although his finishing is really good. I was hoping that he would be an upgrade, but I;m not convinced at the moment. The 2 best strikers to come through the Academy so far are both Faroese believe it or not. Neither are really up to the level we need, but they look reasonable(ish). If I was doing a Youth Only save I'm sure I could do something with them. If I'm honest with you I think it's far too easy to sign players. There seem to be loads of contracts expiring in Jan here for some reason. (I hate that in my own players). I can just send my DoF to sign them at the End of Contract and every Jan I seem to get a couple/4 decent players arrive on a free. In England we would still have to pay compensation, (which is right in my opinion). I'm not even really trying to find players like this at the moment. They are really almost falling into my lap. I'm working completely off scout reports and not actively searching other clubs. It's just too easy. Yeah he is. I forgot to update you on this. We had a takeover and initially I thought I was getting replaced and panicked a little, but he came in with a bunch of Danes, as the Chairman. I used to follow Spurs as a kid and the Romanians about that time were ridiculous. Dumitrescu was also at Spurs and of course Chelsea had Petrescu. Hagi was the main man in Romania at the time and I think a lot of that squad got moves off their performances in the World Cup in the USA, (can't remember the year). Jimbokav1971
I've just looked at the FC København squad in my game and am astonished. They have 17 players who are earning £10k+ per week. This is us. How on Earth did we beat them last season?
Jimbokav1971
Youth Intake day. Season 8. Brondby IF. (28a) Østergaard 6'5" looks great in terms of PA, but I don't like this intake at all. I was really hoping for more. (28a) Østergaard 6'5" is really different to the pacy strikers that I have seen so many of in this save, (to good effect), and I wonder if that might just set him apart. We will obviously need to develop his physicals, but I think there might just be a big beast of a player in there waiting to be developed.

Jimbokav1971
Season 9 Summary. Brondby IF. Summary. I was lulled into a false sense of security as we obliterated SønderjyskE by a 10 goal margin. It was largely downhill from then as we lost more league games that I thought possible, (after being crowned Champions a year ago). Part of the problem is that our #1 GK Snorre 6'3" was injured for 13 games, but that isn't the only reason. We weren't as effective going forward, but I'm really not sure why. Nothing and nobody has really changed. It's largely the same squad, (with most of them improving), so why the downturn in performances? I'm off the opinion that within FM, form is like a snowball rolling down a mountain. It starts off small but soon gathers speed, (and more snow), and soon you have an unstoppable behemoth of gigantic proportions that cannot be stopped until it reaches it's final destination, (the bottom of the mountain). We never really picked up momentum or got the ball rolling, (or however you want to describe it), and as a result we beat the teams who we were better than, but rarely if ever managed to turn over the big boys. Where as last season we won again and again in Europe and this added to our momentum in the league, this season we barely sneaked into the Champions League Group Stage and then once we were there we got our arses handed to her in each and every game. The 3 FC's, Midtjylland, Nordsjælland and København were all way too good for us, and the reason Midtjylland won the league was largely because they didn't have to play in any European games, (after finishing in the bottom half of the table last season). Nordsjælland on the other hand played 14 games in Europe, getting to the 2nd Knockout round of the Euro Conference. København on the other hand played 12 games in the Champions League, (finishing 3rd in a Group behind Bayern & Chelsea), and then played 4 EURO Cup games, losing 2 Arsenal in the 2nd Knockout Round. 3F Superliga Preliminary Phase. 3F Superliga Championship Group. Champions League. Sydbank Pokalen. This is pretty early to crash out of this competition, but the 3 FC's were all in really good form this season and we just weren't up to it. Transfers. Jimbokav1971
Expectations. Season 9. Brondby IF. I seem to have quite an ambitious Chairman. While he is happy to give me money to spend, he seems to want significantly more in return. This is only our 4th season back in the Superliga and we are already "required" (4 bars), to finish in the top half. It's also "desired" (3 bars), that we get to the Group stage of the Euro Conference. While I think both of these are reasonable, they are still quite ambitious when you look at where we have come from. The 3 FC's are really BIG clubs at the moment and we will probably do well to finish above any of them. We are probably top of the next group of clubs and I wonder if the season preview agrees with me. Yeah. They agree with me. I will be happy with 4th, but achieving that was a real struggle last season and only a good run at the end sealed the deal. This next graphic is interesting. København get almost £10M more than the next highest ranked team. Wow. When you add in that they have won the league so many times in this save, (they've won 7 of 8 titles in this save), then it maybe explains how they are able to spend the gazillions they are on wages. Jimbokav1971
Save update. Season 9. Brondby IF. I've got to admit that I thought this save was going to be a piece of...... I thought it was going to be easy once I got the Brondby IF job. I was wrong. I know very little about Danish football and didn't appreciate at all the financial clout that København have. They are an absolute giant of a club in Denmark. I 1st realised this when I saw how much they were spending on wages and how much transfer income they generate but it was highlighted again in the above post that showed how much sponsorship income they receive. Something has just happened though that makes it even more obvious. First of all, what a career, but I would have been sooooooooo much happier if he had gone back to OB rather than joined København. They have paid almost £1M for him, and I would like to say that he'snot going to be very effective because of his waning physical ability, but maybe just maybe he might be the exception to the rule. It's going to be interesting keeping an eye on him. In any case, I now think that it's going to be a real slog to overhaul København and not something that is going to happen in a few short years. Jimbokav1971
Things are not going great. Season 10. Brondby IF. This is a league game. We had a full strength side out.
Jimbokav1971
Youth Intake Day. Season 10. Brondby IF. For the 1st time during this save, I was REALLY excited about the Youth Intake. I mean REEEEEALLY excited, (because I'm always a bit excited). I had inherited good facilities and improved them even further, to such an extent that our facilities were now pretty special. Excellent Training Facilities. Great Youth Facilities. Exceptional Academy Coaching. Exceptional Youth Recruitment. They might not quite be maxed out, but they are getting there and I'm really happy with how it's going. I have even appointed some staff after I realised that despite me delegating this role to others, it wasn't actually being done, (yes I have reported it as a bug). Kim Vilfort and his 77 Danish Caps is my HoYD. Krogh has 10 Caps, Stepanenko (UKR) has 121 Caps, Blind (NED) has 132 Caps, Strootman (NED) has 60 Caps, Müller (GER) has 100 Caps, Cleverley (ENG) somehow got 13 Caps, Valbuena (FRA) has 52 caps, Parolo (ITA) has 36 Caps, Cchetri (IND) has 156 Caps, Quagliarella (ITA) has 28 Caps, Pereira (URU) has 125 Caps. All of them have been signed to our coaching staff in what can only be described as a masterpiece in Youth Generation planning and strategy. The World will know my name as the best at producing talent in this game...... It had already been touted as a possible Golden Generation, (that's never a lie), so all I had to do was get through to March 2029 and then bask in the gloriousness of my Newgen producing afterglow....... Or maybe not. (29a) Koch (GER) looks decent. I really can't complain about him at all. Well apart from the fact that he's 18 years old already. And of course that he isn't a 5.0 PA player of course too. He's far from rubbish though. The others are not even worth showing you, but I should at least have a look at what our squad looks like now and how many of them have been products of our Academy. In terms of PA, we have 9 players at the club who have 5.0 PA. Only 1 of these is a product of our Academy, but he also happens to be a (M.Citizen) personality. After 2 seasons out on loan I have decided to blood (25b) Lindberg (M.Citizen) * in the 1st team, and this could be 1 reason why we're conceding so many goals. The squad sorted by CA has 3x HG players near the top of the list, but the quality in depth still isn't great yet. We are still very much a team built on PA rather than CA. (25a) Schultz 6'2" is a personal favourite if mine, but when he is partnered in defence with another HG talent then I wonder if it is surprising that we are so leaky at the back? I really need some experience to go with them. Wennberg (SWE) HG 6'4" came through the Academy before my arrival so I can't even take credit for his ability. Indeed I have largely ignored him and it's only quite recently that he seems to have "blossomed". I had been trying to loan him out, but nobody was interested. It wasn't until one of the big FC's came in for him last season that I decided to offer him a new long-term deal with our 1st choice GK leaving at the end of this season. After these 3 players, if I go down the list, ranked by CA, then the next HG player I come to is from this seasons intake. I think that speaks volumes. Jimbokav1971
Has anyone properly looked at the XG stuff?. I saw a post by someone last night, (think it was @Makoto Nakamura), and it has encouraged me to look a little more at the new XG stuff in the game. It's not quite making sense though and I was wondering if someone could shed some light on things. This is a game I just played. We won 1-0, (slightly against the run of play), and everything looks fine. I don't know a huge amount about XG yet so let's ignore XG Match Story and instead look at Shot Map. This seems pretty reasonable. 8 attempts. 0 Shot - goal. 2 Shot - saved. 1 Shot - blocked. 5 Shot - Off Target. That all seems fine but we scored 1 goal but had 0 shots on target so how does that work? Maybe we scored an OG. No. It wasn't an OG. It was scored by Eriksen. Also, we had 10 shots rather than 8 and 3 of them were on target. Why were the shots on target not counted? This XG malarkey might sound great, but is it really accurate at all? Jimbokav1971
1st European Final. Season 10. Brondby IF. It might only be the Euro Conference Cup Final, but it's our 1st European Final. We scored twice at the end of the 1st half and then Eriksen scored his 2nd and 3rd goals in the dying moments after we had been reduced to 10 men through injury. I should point out that I'm playing with a small database in this save, (I often do), and while there are disadvantages in that your players are more in demand in a small database, the flip side of that is that the standard of the lesser teams in other European countries is diminished as a result. The idea behind a save like this is more the domestic challenge, (my saves often are), but it's times like this that I regret not playing with a bigger database. I think it cheapens things a little. Anyway, we won! I so wish the Royal League was still a thing. Records and awards.
Jimbokav1971
Season 10 Summary. Brondby IF. 3F Superliga Preliminary Phase. We were a bit hit and miss during the 1st half of the season and the 9-0 loss to Vejle rocked me to my core. FC København lost just 1 game, (to us of course), but we seemed to be stuck in limbo behind the top 3, (which consisted of Esbjerg fB this season instead of FC Midtjylland, (who again failed to make the cut). They seem to be doing well every 2nd season at the moment, (when they are not playing in Europe). They got as far as the 2nd Knockout Round of the Euro Conference this season, (before losing to Dinamo Moscow, but they also beat FC København in the Sydbank Pokalen Final to come away with silverware, a rep boost, (probably), and a decent pot of money despite a relatively poor season. I don't mind the likes FC Midtylland or Esbjerg fB finishing above us every 2nd season, because I know that we are getting the European money every season in comparison to their every 2nd season, and sooner or later we will be too strong for them even when we're playing in Europe and they aren't. 3F Superliga Champions Phase. I don't mind the loss to FC København, (they are on a different level at the moment), and I don't even particularly mind the loss to Esbjerg FC, (they just had a brilliant season), but I do mind losing again to Vejle, especially after the 9-0 loss earlier in the season. I plan on absolutely hammering them for the rest of the save until that 9-0 is a dim and distant memory. (It might take a while). We get an extra European spot this season, (I'm assuming because we won the Euro Conference), so as well as 5 out of the top 6 playing in Europe as normal, Midtjylland who finished top if the bottom half will also play in Europe. Ok This is strange. It's very strange and it the same as someone else complained about earlier in this thread. The top 3 qualified because they were the top 3 and that's fine. We qualified for the EC because we won the EC2 and that's fine. What I was expecting was a playoff between Vejle and AaB who finished 5th and 6th. Instead the European Playoff game was played between Vejle and OB who finished 5th and 8th respectively, (which OB won), meaning Vejle and AaB miss out. That can't be right. Can it? SI are usually pretty good at this, especially in the top leagues so let's have a look at what the rules say in the game. So we usually get 5 spots and only get 6 this season because we won the EC2. The top 3 qualify and it should be the 4th team too, but the Cup was won by a team who didn't qualify va the league so the top 3 + Midtjylland qualify instead. Then we qualify via winning the EC2. that leaves the Playoff. What determines who goes into the Playoff? According to this it should be whoever finished in 4th, (us, against whoever finished in..... Do you think that's been done on purpose to act as an incentive to those clubs who miss the cut? Sydbank Pokalen. I was about to say that I'm sure we put out a weakened side and it obviously came back to bite us, but the fact that Kvistgaarden and Eriksen both scored goals in the opening 15 mins suggest that there was nothing weakened about it at all. We just got beat by Randers FC (who finished Runners up in the 1. Division). Royal Cup. (I wish). Euro Conference. We rode our luck a little in the Knockout stages, and I'm still not sure of meeting Honved in the 2nd Knockout Round after being in the same Group Stage is allowed, but hat-tricks from Eriksen in both the Semi and the Final saw us home with a bit to spare. Squad by appearances. You might notice that both (25b) Lindberg (M.Citizen) * and (25a) Schultz 6'2" both make an appearance on this list and both play at centre-half. Overall Best XI. Facilities. Finances. Transfers. I didn't really want to sell Kvistgaarden, mainly because he was HG at club, but it was a fair bit of money for us and I want to make sure that we could afford the next level of Facility upgrades and not leave ourselves in a position where the board might want to get themselves involved in transfer offers. This should hopefully keep them quiet. Tracker.
Jimbokav1971
Yeah, I liked him, (especially because he was a product of our Academy), but we have so much depth up front that it made sense to move him on for that money. I don't know what the record is for a Danish sale to an overseas club. These are all the strikers at the club sorted by PA. (28a) Østergaard 6'5" was only 4.5 PA when he came through I think. He's interesting because of his height. He will hopefully offer something a little different. Juel is a left winger. Finn Skytte * has been out on loan at OB, but only scored 7 goals this season so still not the finished article. In any case I will be sending him back to OB for another season hopefully. Ronni Brodersen was signed for only £75, (which seems ridiculous). (27a) Boilesen is a midfielder. Hansen HG * has started slowly but will be giving a proper run in the side this season. Eriksen is a goal-scoring machine. He's scored 139 goals for us in just 134(3) games. He is averaging at better than a goal a game over 4 seasons. Øglænd 6'3" is a player I really like the look of, and importantly he's a big man who doesn't have the "plays with back to goal" PPM. (26c) Mouritsen 6'3" is a midfielder. Olsen is one that I'm not sure about. He is going to have to do well this season or risk being sold next year. Thomsen 6'4" * looks great to me to play as a foil to Eriksen, but it's just not working for him for some reason. Maybe it's the "back to goal" PPM? Kaqiu (KVX) MR is a winger. (29d) Mogensen is a...... well I'm not completely sure what he is, but he isn't as striker. (28c) Petersen looks pretty raw, but he's also come through so young that we have more time to develop him. Christian Bonde intrigues me. I love a good balance attribute in strikers and I think with a little work he could develop rather nicely. Tranberg has stagnated a little and I'm not sure he's going to make it at the top level. I keep looking at his 5x U21 Caps and wonder what he showed that was better than some of the other brilliant options of the same age. I think I want to loan him out, but nobody was interested last season. Mikkel Iversen is a player I really like the look of. He's another lefty, (we have quite a few), but I think if I can just improve him a little he coule be very good. The problem with all these strikers is that they are young and inexperienced and I have just cashed in on Kvistgaarden. I think that we have to accept that though as a fact of life because we need to generate cash even with our relatively successful runs in Europe. Until we are in the Champions League on a regular basis, we need to be a selling club. I plan on keeping 4 strikers at the club who will rotate in pairs and everyone who is too old to play for the U19's will go out on loan for competitive football. I just have to decide who I'm keeping. Question to all. Which 3 would you keep with Eriksen?
Jimbokav1971
Reputation. Jun 2029. It's going to be really hard to catch up with København in terms of reputation. They just have so much money and so many good players that they are on another level and I find it astonishing that we have ever beaten them never mind about beaten them to the actual title. Jimbokav1971
Youth Intake Day. Season 11. Brondby IF. We've got 1x 5.0 PA player so I can't complain, but I will be honest with you and admit that I was hoping for better. (30a) Noah is the best of the bunch and he certainly looks decent. We could do with his physicals being a little better, but maybe that's balanced up with some decent key technical attributes. On the 1 side we didn't really need another striker at all, but on the other side we know that you earn more from selling a striker than you do any other position so maybe he will serve us well. Let's just hope that I can get his physicals up and get him scoring.
Jimbokav1971
Season 11 Summary. Brondby IF. 3F Superliga Preliminary Phase. 3F Superliga Championship Stage. FC Midtjylland beat Esbjerg fB in the Playoff to qualify for Europe and the ridiculousness of the Playoff situations doesn't seem to diminish. I selected a weakened squad for the last 2 games because we were already guaranteed to finish 2nd, (so I played the kids). Relegation Stage. Sydbank Pokalen. Really pleased to have won this for the 1st time in the save. We even had to do it without Eriksen who was suspended. Europe. I really thought that we were going to retain this title. We gave it a right good go, bit the Germans were just too strong for us in the end. EURO Cup 2 Golden Boot. When one of our players win the Euro Cup 2 Golden boot, you might be forgiven for thinking that Eriksen had won it. As it happens the top scorer in the competition is Finn Skytte * who has been on loan at OB all season and who has scored 10 Euro Cup 2 goals in 14 appearances, and also 14 3F Superliga goals in 19(6) appearances. European rankings. We've rocketed up the rankings in recent seasons which seems strange when we aren't even playing in the Champions League. It would seem that the weighting for playing in the Euro Conference is the same as playing in the Champions League. Coefficients. Not from next season, but the year after, we will get an extra European spot after reaching 6th in the rankings. It will be interesting to see how this works with the Playoff. Squad by appearances. It will be of no surprise to you that Eriksen was again the star of the show, scoring 50 goals and creating 17 assists in 47 appearances. He now has 189 goals in 181(3) appearances. Eriksen also won the European Golden Boot, (for the 2nd time). Transfers. Despite us having loads of strikers, the DoF went and found us not 1 but 2 more. Thankfully they were pretty decent. Sørensen * came straight in and formed a great partnership with Eriksen and scored 35 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions. Mikkel Olsen * while under the radar, might have been even more impressive with 18 goals scored in 11(21) appearances. Lukas Klitten provided some much needed depth at left back. Best XI. Jimbokav1971
Yearly wage rise. Jun 2030. You can tell which contracts the DoF negotiated. I would rather not sign a player than give him a yearly rise.
Jimbokav1971
Very nice win. It took us 12 games in this save to beat them, and I took over on 11th Jun 2024, so I lost the 1st away game and then won the first 2 home games. I did lose 6 consecutive games against them though. We're starting to get there and we've won 2 and drawn 1 of the last 4 games and the game we lost was when I played the kids and we still scored twice against them. Certainly reasons for optimism despite their ridiculous squad. The sooner that someone buys Mo Daramy the better. He's scored 173 league goals for them and 264 club goals for them in total. Ridiculous levels.
Jimbokav1971
Big Bid. Jun 2030. Brondby IF. I forgot to take a screenshot of the bid itself but it was something along the lines of this. £3.3M up front. £2.2M in instalments. about £1.5M after 5 INT appearances. Assorted other clauses totalling £3.75M 30% of profit. I've refused it and set the asking price at £20M. I'm in no rush to sell because Øren (NOR) has 3 years on his contract. Ideally I would keep him for at least 1 more season and then get a loan back clause in the deal for the next season. I got a hard Brexit in this save so he needs WP so assuming he would get one, I think Liverpool need to be willing to pay more of a Premium for him. Especially as I'm in no rush to sell. A couple of times I've wondered what our record sale is, and also what the record sale from a Danish club is. The highest fee we have received for a player is £8.58M for Daniel Agger from Liverpool. The highest fee we have paid for a player is £3M to buy Daniel Agger back from Liverpool. I might make a rule that I'm not willing to pay more than £3M for a player while at Brondby IF. I certainly won't break the record lightly. To my shame, although I knew that Agger went back to the same club that he joined from, I knew it wasn't FC Midtjylland, but didn't know who it was. If I was to guess I think I might have gone for FC København. In hindsight though, I knew it was a smaller big club so I knew it wasn't them. I'm surprised that Agger still isn't at the club in some capacity. Does anyone know what he's doing now? Media in Denmark maybe? Ebbe Sand is a Coach with the National Team after leaving his role as DoF here before the save started after 7 seasons here as a player. Kim Vilfort is the HoYD and spent 12 season here as a player. Mogens Krogh is our U19 GK Coach after spending 12 seasons here as a player. Thomas Kahlenberg is a Coach for the U19 National team after 12 years here over 2 periods and then a stint as our U18 Coach. Morten Wieghorst is the Ass Man at the National Team after just 3 seasons here & is better known for his long stint at Celtic. John Jensen is a Danish Icon never mind about a Brondby Icon. He came through the Academy here and spent 15 seasons with us in 3 different stints and the 4 years as our Ass Man and then another year as a coach. He's currently an unemployed scout and I will be trying to employ him just because. Lars Olsen is the Manager of Wales. he spent 9 years here as a player in 2 stints and then also coached here for 6 years. Eriksen is our current goal-machine who will surely go on to become a legend unless I sell him. Auri Skarbalius is the current Manager of Silkeborg and spent 11 seasons at the club as a player. Kvistgaarden sold his soul for Chinese Yuan. Maxsø 6'3" is an unemployed Coach after I released him after 9 seasons with us in 2 spells. The most expensive Danish player in my save is someone I will call RNK and he went from Porto to PSG for £30.6M.The highest Transfer fee paid by a Danish club was obviously by FC København and they paid £15.75M for a player from PSV 2 seasons ago. (More money than sense). The highest Transfer received by a Danish club was received by FC København when they sold a Ugandan teenager to Chelsea for £18.5M. (So £18.5M is what I need to beat). Jimbokav1971
Big Sale. Season 12. Aug 2030. I didn't really want to sell him, but I just couldn't say no to £10M cash. He has only been with us for 2 seasons and had only just become 1st choice. It means that we have £30M in the bank and that should give us a nice cushion to allow us decline bids successfully for anyone that we don't want to sell. We now have a transfer kitty of £11M and this should allow us to bring in a number of high potential domestic starlets. The only real problem is that Valentin is 20 years old, and the player he was replacing is Oli Olsen who is 30. I guess I better find myself another right back on the hurry up. Jimbokav1971
Youth Intake Day. Season 12. Mar 2031. (31a) Klitten (Driven) has some decent physical attributes but I'm not really sure what to make of him. I certainly don't see him as a playmaker, but maybe the more conservative midfielder alongside? (31b) Petersen is a 4.5 PA player and our best GK right now is only 3.0 CA, so on that basis he should be plenty good enough to break into our 1st team. Jimbokav1971
Brondby IF U19's win the League. Season 12. May 2031. I don't often post stuff about U19 domestic competition, but the fact that all but 1 of the other teams in the league finished with a negative goal difference suggests that we gave everyone pretty significant beatings. This is the full table. We have the top 6 goal-scorers in the league.
Jimbokav1971
Milestone goal. Season 12. May 2031. And what a way to become the club record goal-scorer. His 3rd goal of 5 (FIVE) goals against FC København equalled the record and then he went and beat it and beat it again. It should be added that the 40 goals he scored for HB Køge were done so under my management. That's where I found him. He's now scored 229 goals for Brondby IF in 216(6) appearances. I would sell him if someone came in for him with decent money, but surprisingly nobody is interested at all. Never seen anything like it.

Jimbokav1971
Season 12 Summary. Brondby IF. Summary. Our league form was poor, or rather poor in patches, and reality is simply that our squad isn't deep enough. We lost 2 games at the start of the season and that's my fault, but then we lost twice in the middle of the season, (largely because we had no left back), and then we lost 2 games at the end of the season when we lost both our 1st choice strikers. I can fix the problem at the start of the season, (or rather hopefully the full game will which I am about to upgrade to), the left back position has been resolved by players who were out on loan when I needed them and the striker situation will hopefully be resolved with better decision making by me as to who remains at the club and who leaves. I aim to win the league next season. We retained the Cup and that was great, but we bombed in the Champions League. (although that's only a limited disaster as we got to the Group Stage). 3F Superliga Preliminary Phase. I somehow contrived to lose my Ass Man before the start of the season and worse than that I didn't realise until we came to the 1st league game and all the players were unfit and only then I realised that we hadn't played any pre-season friendlies and the reason we hadn't played any pre-season friendlies was of course because I had delegated arranging the friendlies to....... yes, my Ass Man, who was unfortunately no longer at the club. So after we gave the rest of the league a 6 point headstart we got down to business. We finished the 1st phase exactly 6 points behind the leaders, the same 6 points we have them headstart at the beginning of the season. 3F Superliga Championship Phase. We won the Cup FInal between the FC København 7-2 win and the Esbjerg fB loss but we had been decimated by injury and were toothless without Eriksen and Sørensen *. Sydbank Pokalen. We retained the Cup, but despite romping through all the preceding rounds, we barely crawled over the line without both our 1st choice strikers. I was astonished to win if I'm honest. Champions League. I was aiming for a 3rd place finish in the league and hopefully some progress in the Knockout stages of the EURO Cup, but we actually got our arses spanked all over the shop. Squad by appearances. Best XI. When the 2nd top goal-scorer scores 32 goals in a season, you know you are doing something right. Overall best XI. Transfers. The big sale of right back Valentin to Milan for £10M was obviously the main talking point but that I replaced him with not 1 but 3 right backs for £1.7M should be decent business if they turn out to have the required quality. Bach became 1st choice after he arrived and will remain so for some time I think. Ronni Clausen is certainly going to do a job for us, but I'm not convinced he's going to be a super-star. Jonas Olsen is lacking a little physically, but again I think it likely that he will improve enough to contribute for us. European Golden Boot. Eriksen has now won the European Golden Boot for a 3rd time and still nobody is interested in him.
Jimbokav1971
Facilities. Season 13. Jun 2031. So let's have an update on where our Facilities are at now that we are playing the full game. I've got used to looking at the Editor to double-check the facility levels, especially after there was a significant bug in the game last season where your facilities in game were not actually the facilities that you actually gad. This looks good. Junior Coaching is already maxed out and Youth Recruitment, (which is often really hard to max out), just needs to last upgrade, (which isn't available at the moment). We have 2 levels still to go on Training Facilities and 4 levels remaining on Youth Facilities. We have a fair whack of money in the bank, so the time is right to see what other upgrades we can manage. I was playing with just Denmark loaded, but have now loaded Sweden. So now we know what the Facilities are like here, now we need to look at the FC København facilities, (who it should be said have been pumping out great youngsters all the way through this save). So I would say that our Facilities are better, (although it's close), so what else do we know has an impact on where the best Danish prospects go? Far from closing the gap on FC København, we actually probably lost ground on both them and FC Nordsjælland. FC København were Runners Up in the league, lost in the Semi of the Cup and got top the 2nd Knockout Round of the Euro Cup. Nordsjælland won the league, got to the Cup Final and also the 2nd Knockout Round of the Euro Conference. We on the other hand finished 3rd in the league, won the Cup and were knocked out in the Champions league Group stages.

Jimbokav1971
Youth Products produced by FC København in this save. They have produced some great youngsters, but they have also been neglecting them with very few still at the club. For me it was too difficult to follow whole #DanskeDanske thread. It was fine while it was the demo, but especially as saves start to branch out a little I think this makes sense, (for me at least). I felt sometimes that I was posting too often in there and hogging the thread.
