Hi,

I raised the below last year, but more and more now national teams are having someone in a dedicated role as Technical Director.

My thoughts of this in game would be the Technical Director would set your ambition/vision. Perhaps it’s to win the World Cup or simple Qualify for a major tournament.

The following countries all have/have had until recently someone in this role

Les Reed - England (leaves in December 2020 to be replaced by McDermott)

Malky Mackay - Scotland (Left last week after fulfilling vision)

David Adams - Wales

Jim Magilton - Northern Ireland

Ruud Dokter - Ireland

Here is the thread I raised last year... It was reviewed but unsure of the feedback.
