dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2030/31 Four promotions in five years has put us in a really difficult position, we just can't compete with the biggest clubs in England. League Table - I'm delighted with the result but our results were just random. League Cup - we had a tough draw early on. FA Cup - we got revenge over Arsenal, but lost in the next round. Squad - it's improving, but it's still a Championship level squad. Transfers - I got a bit carried away blowing most of our budget on a winger who failed to impress. Finances - Premier League finances are a bit different. Key Player Profiles: Álex Domínguez - our top scorer again. Alessandro Lauricella - an amazing free transfer. Önder Çetin - the big signing from last season was still one of our best players. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2031/32 We avoided a relegation battle last season, so this year was all about getting a squad together that could move us up the table. League Table - we finished the season in great form and qualified for the Europa Conference League, whatever that is. League Cup - we've not quite got the squad depth to really go for this, but we might start to be able to give it a go. FA Cup - we had a great run but we went to Wembley with half of our defence unavailable. Squad - the squad is finally taking shape, we've got a number of good young players now. Transfers - we had a much better transfer window, pinching some great young players from Serbia and Colombia. Finances - the finances are not a worry, but the wages of the players will start to increase. Key Player Profiles: Álex Domínguez - top scorer again. Juan Mauricio Delgado - a bargain at £1m. Pablo Casalino - not the greatest return, but he's a quality player. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2032/33 With a 7th placed finish and a young squad that was starting to take shape, I was hopeful we could qualify for European football this season. League Table - we were in the bottom half at the midway point, but our form picked up at the end just like last season. I've checked, we've made it to the Champions League! League Cup - I was hopeful of a good run, but an 89th minute own goal ended it for us. FA Cup - we did well to knock out United, but couldn't get past City. Squad - I'm so close to having the perfectly balanced squad, but having 14 wonderkids can't be a bad thing. Transfers - the January transfers made up the numbers, but I spent big on some quality players in the summer. Finances - we made a big loss, but the investments should pay off. Key Player Profiles: Álex Domínguez - top scorer again, but he's not the standout player he used to be. Jason Bradley - the £30m man. Andrés Ibáñez - we now have two quality AMCs. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2033/34 In just three years in the top flight we had qualified for the Champions League, could this be the season we emerged as title contenders? League Table - we just couldn't keep up with the top four, leaving us stuck in 5th with nothing to play for at the end of the season. League Cup - we should be good enough to do well in this competition, but our run finished early. FA Cup - it doesn't come much worse than a 121st minute loss. UEFA Champions League - we had a really tough group draw, but finishing 3rd set us up to make history. Squad - I've got the perfect 22 man squad, but I just can't keep everyone happy. Transfers - just a few transfers, most of which seemed to be Brazilians. Finances - the finances are good, but these small wages won't last too much longer. Key Player Profiles: Álex Domínguez - top scorer again. Stamatis Zafeirakis - he started slowly, but he's starting to find his form. Mats Vandamme - the big money signing. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2034/35 After qualifying for the Champions League again, we were setting our sights on doing it again and possibly winning a domestic cup. League Table - once again, our late season form saw us creep un into 3rd. UEFA Super Cup - it's just a friendly, but winning this felt huge. League Cup - this was the cup I thought we could win, but Man City had other ideas. FA Cup - a real shock here as we threw away a penalty shootout. UEFA Champions League - we had some flashes of brilliance, the final being one of those. Squad - we are maybe a bit weak on strikers, but the squad is fantastic. Transfers - just three replacements, but one of them was an expensive striker. Finances - the Champions League win has made a huge difference. Key Player Profiles: Miguel Luís - not the most amazing season, but still our top scorer. Juan Flores - right wing was a problem position for us, now it's our strongest. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2035/36 The Champions League win has put is right up there with the best in Europe, so we were looking to repeat that success back in England. League Table - we looked set to go unbeaten, until a third of my squad missed a month for the Olympic qualifiers. UEFA Super Cup - we retained the cup with a narrow win. League Cup - for the second year in a row, we were losing finalists. FA Cup - we lost out on penalties fairly early on. UEFA Champions League - Barcelona got their revenge with the same scoreline that won it for us last season. Squad - there's a bit of room for improvement, but this is an excellent squad. Transfers - I replaced most of strikers. Finances - a decent profit, but the wages are starting to shoot up. Key Player Profiles: José Alexandre - the new striker was our top scorer. Mats Vandamme - our most valuable player. Birol Al - not a planned signing, but I had to jump at the chance to sign an elite level player. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2036/37 Despite winning the league last season, losing two cup finals really hurt. This season we needed to do better. League Table - we were comfortable winners, allowing us to field the youngsters for the last few games. Community Shield - our first appearance in this was an impressive one. League Cup - third time lucky! FA Cup - after a long wait for a domestic cup, we picked up our second. UEFA Champions League - we did our best to throw this away, but we edged out United on penalties in another final. Squad - an insanely talented group of players. Transfers - I was busy as I continued our hunt for a goalscorer. Finances - a big loss, but we won't need to spend big next season. Key Player Profiles: Craig Austin - the backup striker I bought last season turned out to be quite good. Kacper Zalewski - good wingers make such a difference to my tactics. UEFA Champions League - we suffered some really bad injuries at the time of the semis, but this was still a horrible way to go out. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2041/42 With a quadruple last season, it really felt like we were starting an era of dominance. League Table - we had 28 consecutive wins until Man Utd held us to a draw. Community Shield - Austin grabbed a hattrick in the season opener. UEFA Super Cup - we were a bit lucky in this one. FIFA Club World Cup - this competition is a real struggle to find fit players for. League Cup - we didn't concede a single goal. FA Cup - we set a new record with the 10-0, but then lost it against Arsenal. UEFA Champions League - the Barcelona game was our only loss this season. Squad - I've been rebuilding the squad, but it seems better than ever. Transfers - I got carried away with two £100m signings. Finances - a bug loss due to the transfers. Key Player Profiles: Craig Austin - top scorer again. Patrick Wembangomo - possibly our best player. Kacper Zalewski - it was great to have him back after a long injury. milkyjoe11
Not far off total domination with an epic season. Obviously new stadium is order of the day - another few years possibly. Considering still another 9 ish months on FM21 - do you plan on staying or fancy moving on - building another team? Dafuge on tour threads are always brilliant to follow, perhaps a smaller team in another league?

I'm guessing it might be another ten or so years before a new stadium, so I'd like to get to that point. After that I'm not really sure. I'd love to push for a third new stadium, but I'm not sure if I'd have time for that.
dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2042/43 We came so close to the perfect season, it was going to be hard to improve on that. League Table - another unbeaten season, but a lot more draws this time. Community Shield - it took two late goals to recover from the early red card. UEFA Super Cup - a comfortable win. League Cup - just one goal conceded, although the final was tight. FA Cup - we made up for that penalty loss last season. UEFA Champions League - unbeaten, but we had a few tough draws. Squad - a new left back is all we really need. Transfers - I sold a star striker after a nightclub incident, I also picked up a brilliant DM for £85m. Finances - we were in debt for most of the season, so I'm going to have to keep an eye on the spending. Key Player Profiles: Craig Austin - top scorer, just. Mauro - making a decent case to be the main man. Kacper Zalewski - not seen a player worth this much before. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2043/44 The trophies were rolling in, but last season we started to rack up a bit of debt. This season I needed to make sure the finances were sorted. League Table - with the unbeaten run gone, I felt much happier playing the younger players in a few more games. Community Shield - a big win to kick off the season. UEFA Super Cup - it took a while, but we got the win. League Cup - a perfect set of wins, although the final wasn't great. FA Cup - just like the league cup, we won every game but City (featuring four former players) gave us a tough final. UEFA Champions League - our first European defeat in nearly two years, but it didn't mean a lot. Squad - I can't really improve it, so transfers now are all about profit and lowering the average age. Transfers - it didn't quite work out, but I made a small profit on a key player. I've also started signing the odd youth product. Finances - job done. It's not a huge profit, but it has got us out of any potential trouble. Key Player Profiles: Craig Austin - top scorer, but it was close. Mauro - it's probably about time I made him the main man. Zhang Debao - he's not making headlines, but he's a fantastic player. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2044/45 With the finances sorted for now, my attention turned to rebuilding the squad for the future. League Table - we won it easily, but we dropped a lot more points than usual as we battled with injuries. Community Shield - a nice easy win. UEFA Super Cup - an amazing comeback. League Cup - no problems here. FA Cup - we very nearly got knocked out by our feeder club. UEFA Champions League - nearly perfect as we beat Barca in the final yet again. Squad - almost perfect. Transfers - transfers were made to bring in some money. Finances - we badly need that new stadium. Key Player Profiles: Mauro - it was a draw for top scorer! Alessio Diamante - we've got four class strikers. Paul Perry - the first youth product that has made it into the first team squad. dafuge
Met Police - Premier League - 2045/46 Three straight years of winning the major trophies, we looked to make it four. League Table - we were chasing United for most of the season, we won but we were not at our best. Community Shield - this narrow win set up the season nicely. UEFA Super Cup - the scoreline made it look exciting. FIFA Club World Cup - we hung on for the win with ten men. League Cup - Forest gave us our biggest test. FA Cup - absolute domination. UEFA Champions League - we so nearly threw away the final. Squad - we need a rebuild, I've got too many older players keeping the youngsters out of the team. Transfers - nothing except a couple of youth products sold. Finances - we still badly need a new stadium. Key Player Profiles: Mauro - our new top scorer. Patrick Wembangomo - still scored loads despite having to cover the wing due to injuries. Kacper Zalewski - still our MVP, but he's injured so often.
