[North America] Data Issues

Please post any data issues related to any non-represented country in North America here.

As much of the data is subjective we’d ask that you respect everyone’s opinion and accept that the final decision is that of our club researchers and our heads of research.

We also request you please adhere to the following three point plan when posting in the data topics:

·        State what you think is specifically wrong with a particular piece of data.

·        State what you think the data should be.

·        State reasons/proof for your suggested corrections/improvements.

Please note that any non-data issues for North America should be posted in the appropriate thread within the League Specific Issues forum. This would include issues such as league scheduling, league table sorting rules and match rules.

Bit of a small one, but I've noticed the US Collegiate System (club - id 981817) is set for NFE, this results in it not showing in player histories for players who have it set (which is quite a few players in English non league!).

HR: Haiti

As per this (Spanish language) link, Webens Prinsíme is the DT of Violette AC (102359).  Prinsíme doesn't seem to be in the DB - here is a profile: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/webens-prinsime/profil/spieler/508278 & https://www.national-football-teams.com/player/14422/Webens_Princime.html.  In 1993, he played for Estudiantes de Mérida (no data for games/goals).

Defender Yeimar Gomez Andrade of the Seattle Sounders is 5'2 141lbs in the game. He is 6'2 203lbs in real life. It would awesome if this could be corrected.

Suriname national team needs a lot of updating. IRL the following players have all declared for Suriname:

Warner Hahn

Ridgeciano Hops

Sean Klaiber

Diego Biseswar

Sheraldo Becker

Ryan Donk

Kelvin Leerdam

Mitchell Donald

Florian Jozefzoon

Shaquille Pinas

Mitchell te Vrede

Ramon Leeuwin

Myenty Abena

Also, a lot of Dutch players should have Suriname second nationality but don't currently have it. I don't have a full list but this would be worth going through systematically. I think Suriname changed their law around dual nationality players being eligible for the national team, hence why so many new good players declared for them. This should also mean that more dual nationality players will be likely to declare for them in the years to come. Perhaps worth looking into?

I think it's worth mentioning on Holland data issues forum as well.

Is there a reason that several teams in Dominica have a higher Youth recruitment value than the Fc Barcelona for example?

I cannot speak for the Dominican data (Dominica or Dominican Republic?) but this data field is on a national level, not worldwide.  So 20 means "best in the country" and not "best in the world"
